One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson has urged electors not to follow how-to-vote cards on polling day as party preference deals are frantically secured prior to the election. The Liberal Party quietly released its how-to-vote cards for Senate races on Thursday, revealing it would direct preferences to Clive Palmer's United Australia Party everywhere except WA, while WA Labor put Palmer's party above One Nation, despite the incredible legal stoush playing out between WA Premier Mark McGowan, the WA Attorney General and the mining magnate they referred to as 'BFL' (big fat liar). Ahead of a trip to Perth in a couple of weeks, Hanson told Liam Bartlett on 6PR Mornings the federal government's preferences to Palmer showed it was sensitive to racial perceptions from some people of One Nation and made no legislative sense. "About 80 per cent of the time I do vote for the government," she told Bartlett, adding Prime Minister Scott Morrison had also preferenced the UAP and Greens over her in his electorate. State Labor has had eight years in opposition, and now more than two years in office - and still no clear, integrated, or determined plan to act on climate change. Western Australia has the second highest per capita greenhouse emissions across the Commonwealth. The Environment Protection Authority attempted to act in March 2019 by moving to control emissions from our biggest polluting projects, but was attacked by industry and cautioned by Premier Mark McGowan.
