Based on the term coined by Gay Hendricks, "The Upper Limit Problem" proposes that as we approach new success, our brain triggers a fear response that has us thinking we're not worthy, we can't do it, or it's too hard. In this podcast, I'm talking about the Upper Limit problems I've faced and how I was able to identify the fear responses I've triggered and still reach an up-level. March programming is also ANNOUNCED in this fabulous episode, and guess what! You can now join The La.Rue Community, for FREE! Learn more about Tier Zero: Expansion, here!

It's all temporary: the discomfort, the fear, the anger, and even the joy. A lot of us let the idea of temporary strike fear in us. But, what if we let the mantra of "It's all temporary" to inspire us, motivate us, and even remind us that by remembering even the joyful moments are temporary, we are inclined to be more present. In this riveting solo episode of the podcast, I share my experiences of how the leaning into the temporary has allowed me to look back on some of the hardest moments of my life with deep gratitude and admiration for myself and my experiences. The highlights of my entrepreneurship journey have felt extraordinary to share with you guys. We've hit some amazing milestones together throughout this journey, and I'm so honored to be able to share them and inspire you. But, with success, naturally comes hardship. I haven't always been entirely upfront with the challenges I've faced throughout this journey, and how many times I thought about quitting. But on today's episode, that's changing. I'm sharing with you some of the hardest challenges and mindset barriers I've had to break through over the last three years. Let us know what you'd like to learn about in the La.Rue Community! This one of the most exciting, inspiring, and mind changing events I've experienced in my life. This year, I attended the Forbes 30 Under 30 Summit in Cleveland, OH. I attend live talks from industry leaders, Under 30 Listers, Forbes Execs, and more to learn about what it takes to make one of the most exclusive entrepreneurship lists in the world. In this episode, I recap my experience at the conference, what I learned about networking, and most importantly, how I went from a pitch with fear to pitching myself with more confidence than ever before.
How do you connect with your intuition? In this special episode with certified Transformation Coach and soon to be certified trauma informed coach, Shannon Lynne, we explore the four different types on intuition and how we connect with them. Shannon shares probing questions that help you to discover what type of intuition you're most connected with, and how to give voice to that inner knowing. Join Shannon and myself on this week's episode as we explore what it means to listen to your inner voice and why trusting your intuition could help you as a human and an entrepreneur. I can't believe we're in the final stretch of 2024. The New Year is just around the corner, BUT, before I get too ahead of myself, how about we stay present? Over the last few weeks, I've been noticing my inclination to stay focused on the future, therefore, removing me from the present. For this 2023 goal setting challenge update, I'm sharing with you my plans to stay present for the rest of the year and WHY it's so important to intentional living and manifesting. It's far too easy for us to remove ourselves from the moment we're in now based on a desire for the future. But when we do so, we're missing the life we're living right now!
Time and time again, I've shared with you the intimate details of my intentional living journey, and how that journey has evolved over the last three years since it began. In today's episode, I'm talking about how I was able to build a foundation that supports me with unwavering confidence, through every change, experience, and circumstance that comes my way. I talk about the beginning of this journey and how the details of the journey have changed over the years, but foundation of intentionality hasn't.
Welcoming yet another fabulous guest, this week I'm joined by Beaonca Ward to talk about the differentiation of the self. Join me in this deep and contemplative episode where I share my continued journey of healing and how doing so will help me Grow my network...? This episode goes everywhere! LOL
All to often, we put this unwelcome pressure on ourselves to be perfect, show up perfect, and act perfect. But life isn't perfect and it's not realistic. In this episode, I'm sharing all of the ways I've felt imperfect in my life over the last few weeks, and how I plan to on addressing it. It's not fair to put ourselves in the position to show up 1000% to everything. Sometimes, one aspect of your life is going to take that 90, and only 10% is left for the rest. I'm here to tell you that's okay.
Ring in my 26th Birthday with me!!! In this very exciting, very special episode of the podcast, I'm coming to you on my birthday. It's been an extraordinary year, and I'm filled with abundance and gratitude as I share my reflections on the last year of my life, and the goals I'm setting as I step into twenty six. I want to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you that show up each week to learn, grow, and live intentionally. My advice to you… never stop pushing boundaries. Never stop pushing your limits, stepping out of your comfort zone, and working towards your biggest dreams. I am here to support you, and so is La.Rue.
Getting ready, because this episode has a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT, and all the sauce! Everyday as an entrepreneur, something new comes up that tests your abilities and your confidence. But in this journey, it's up to us to let those situations inspire us, and help us to grow and learn. Challenge is the right hand to entrepreneurship, and when we challenge ourselves, we grow—and when we grow from things like success AND failure, our confidence expands.

My birthday month is HERE!!!! And leading up, I've had some exciting realizations as to how my mindset has shifted over the last 7 months of 2023. For the August update of the 2023 goal setting challenge, I'm sharing some major mindset shifts I've had over July, and really the last week as I was away on vacation, digitally disconnected, and focused on reflecting. It was an amazing month with a lot of hustle and grind, but important shifts that have helped me find the balance I'm seeking this year.
Chaos energy has now turned into a two part episode and this one is all about CALMING the chaos. In an ironic turn of events, the moment after recording the last episode, things in my life turned to chaos. So I decided to record a second episode on chaos energy and how to calm it. In this two part series, you'll find advice on how to let the chaos energy act as fuel to your motivation when you're on the side of inviting. But, if you're one the side of trying to distance yourself from the chaos energy, this episode is for you!
What if we put a positive spin on the word Chaos? What if the chaos energy we feel is actual fuel for our success? In this wildly in flow podcast, I'm sharing my insider advice on creating chaos energy that motivates you to actual get things done TODAY, and stop saying, "I'll just do it tomorrow." This might be the most ENLIGHTENING EPISODE I've recorded to date! Which is so fitting given that we're ringing EPISODE 100!!! HOLY COW, can you believe it? I'm so thrilled to share this phenomenal episode with you! I'm sharing a beautiful conversation I had with one of my dear friends, Briana! Her and I had a recent chat that left me feeling inspired and empowered. This week, we're talking about the divine masculine and feminine energies and how you can find the your unique balance within yourself.
Letting go of the 'when' can feel like it's impossible. Once we want something, we're determined to get there as quickly as we can. But when you take a step back and look at how the events of your past have unfolded for your highest good, you can believe the same will be true for your future. When we let go of the when, we let go of the need to compare our timelines to others and liberate ourselves from this need to get to where we desire 'right now.'
In this thought-provoking episode, I'm pulling inspiration from the Weekly Energy Boost podcast to talk about how our brain wave state affects how we manifest! Are you in Beta, Alpha, Theta, or Delta? This week, I'm sharing with you what could be the KEY piece of information you're missing to manifest the life of your dreams. Do you need to slow your mind down or speed things up to manifest? Let's find out!
We're almost halfway through the year and this is the most productive and exciting update I'm serving you yet! At the beginning of the year, I set out to challenge myself to update you guys on my progress toward my goals this year! In this June update, I'm sharing with you how I'm shifting my priorities to be more centered and focused on all things ME!
BALANCE! My word of the year for myself and for my business! This week, we're going back to the TRUE ROOTS of the Do The Damn Thing Podcast and talking about all things wellness, habits, routines, and seeking daily balance. True to the La.Rue brand, we're getting deep and asking questions that are cause for spiritual musings that help us regulate our minds, bodies, and souls. These four questions will help you change your life when you start asking yourself what you really need.
The last two weeks have taught me, without fail, that the Universe is always listening to what we have to say. After experiencing some high highs and low lows in such a short period of time, I saw how everything we think and believe comes to life in one way or another.
As I usher in a new chapter, energies are changing, and I thought I'd share. The chapters of our lives are not defined by moments and experiences; they are defined by the closing and healing of emotions to create new space to welcome new energy. Join me as I talk about the chapters of my life and the new energy I'm welcoming.
This is a candid conversation about my physical health journey and the issues I've faced most of my life. Recently, I shared with you that I got incredibly sick from bronchitis. I was overwhelmed with emotions and fears about being sick and isolated during this time. I've decided to take my health back into my own hands. In this episode, I'm sharing with you how I plan to heal the issues I face rather than continue to band-aid them. I am not a health physician. This podcast is here to serve as a place of comfort and knowledge about better taking care of yourself and prioritizing your health.
We're officially in month FIVE of 2023, and I am so excited about this update. Each update for the 2023 Goal challenge has had a bit of its own character, but this month, post two weeks of being sick, I'm excited to update you on the mental and emotional mindset breakthroughs I've had moving forward into May! It's time to start being ACTIVE in my own decisions that affect me as I am now, later today, tomorrow, and every day forward.
Sometimes, we have to let things be hard before we can heal them. I don't want to say let it be hard so it can be easy because that doesn't feel authentic. We need to let things be hard so we can heal them to become better versions of ourselves. When we allow the hard things to rise to the surface for healing, we are deepening our relationship with ourselves and our emotions, and that's not easy, but it is beautiful.
This week, I got really sick and had some time alone to think to myself. Some intrusive and hard thoughts rose to the surface, inviting me to reflect deeply. Despite how uncomfortable some of these thoughts made me, it was divinely orchestrated by the Universe for me to see these fears and thoughts, so I can heal them.
The time has come for me to share the biggest dream I have. In this month's 2023 goal challenge update, I'm sharing with you how Im changing my approach to progress for Q2 because my big goals are in sight! I'm so thrilled to share this update with you because it feels like we're actively deciding to move forward together!
Frankly, this is the episode we all likely need to hear. We've all heard the expression comparison is the thief of joy. But sometimes, when we get in those hard spots or stuck in a rut, our outlet is to compare our lives and success to another. We do this because we tell ourselves we're not good enough to achieve our dreams, so we look for proof of that. But here's the thing, YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH. In this POWERFUL episode, I'm talking about three ways we need to de-influence our lives and stop comparing to reconnect with our true dreams.
This is the message we all need to hear! Whatever we set our focus on expands in our lives. If we're constantly focused on the negative, looking to see how the future can change our lives, we'll never manifest actual change! We have to find GRATITUDE for the moment we're in now, letting our lives expand through joy, happiness, and peace.
Social Media can be a tough topic; it's one we all likely have some fears around, and it can feel like a constant uphill battle. In today's episode, I'm talking openly about my fears around social media and how I plan to heal these fears to show up for the fun of it, adding value to those who need it.
Romanticizing your life isn't about aesthetics or material. It's about mindfulness and being present in the moment that will shift your perspective and, ultimately, your reality. I know this can be a controversial topic. Social media has skewed the view of what it means to romanticize your life with "day in the life videos" that are a highlight reel. So in this episode, we're talking about how to intentionally(!) practice romanticizing you life that will invite new opportunity, joyfulness, and growth.
I've got some JUCIY updates for you on our 2023 goal-setting! In this episode, I'm sharing some brutally honest updates about the resistance I'm facing and how being so honest with myself has helped me identify the blocks I'm facing and why. Join me on this challenge to ACTUALLY achieve our 2023 goals by talking it out and finding resolutions together to make 2023 an extraordinary year.
Do you replace your drive and determination with the word luck? How many times in your life have you worked hard for something and accredited that success to "getting lucky?" In this episode, I'm diving into the work LUCK and why it's always left a bad taste in my mouth. What if it's not luck at all? What if we've worked hard for something, but our worthiness wound tells us it's still not hard enough? Subscribe to the Newsletter: https://view.flodesk.com/pages/609c44865b5e0f769e3a8a0f Listen to Deepak Chopra's 21 Days of Abundance Meditation: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/21-days-of-abundance-meditation-series/id1558008884
We all reach energy slumps every once in a while. But what if those so-called slumps are just signs from our mind and body to rest and recharge so we could later reach flow? In this episode, I share my recent daily fights against depleting energy, later followed by flow. This episode is about sharing why it's important to listen to our bodies and reach flow when it happens naturally. We're talking about finding natural compromises to rest, relax, and still be productive.
HOLY MOLY! Last week, I experienced my first (conscious experience) quantum leaping. And this episode is PROOF of that! The recording and audio issues are a sign from the Universe that realities are shifting; glitching may occur, LOL! In this exciting episode, I share the events of the week that led to me shifting realities and realizing just how much my life changed in ONE WEEK! I'm so excited to share this experience with you and NEED to know if you've experienced a quantum leap before too. Let me know through Instagram or the blog, so I can share your story too!
It's our first episode back since our brief break over the holidays and boy am I THRILLED to be back having these beautiful conversations with all of your beautiful souls. In this episode, I'm sharing my reflections on my life, my dreams, the highs and lows of 2022, and all last year delivered. It was in this reflection that I set my goals for 2023, and I'm so happy to be sharing this conversation with you.
