Mike is a certified professional men's coach. He has a BA in Education and spent 10 years as a teaching artist coaching young people. He trained with Challenge Day, Lincoln Center Education in NYC, Bi-Jingo, Co-Active Training Institute (CTI), and EVRYMAN. In 2017, Mike delivered a TEDx Talk about the significance for young people to have trusted adults in their lives. Recognizing the impact and importance of deep emotional health propelled him into his coaching career. After graduating from CTI, Mike launched his coaching practice with the purpose of creating safe spaces for men to think deeply about themselves and develop emotional awareness. Since then, Mike has partnered with companies like DropBox, LinkedIn, Google, Kaiser Permanente, TATLAB, BBXX, and Saje Wellness. Mike also partners with EVRYMAN, where he hosts men's groups, facilitates men's retreats, and coaches men in the community. The foundation of Mike's work is based in somatics and emotional awareness. He guides and teaches men to return to their bodies through breathwork, meditation, and powerful open ended questions that inspire self-discovery. When men learn to slow down and listen to their intuition, their internal wisdom becomes more accessible. From here, men respond to their lives constructively rather than reacting destructively.
