Today, she leads a multi-million-dollar company that has helped nearly 600 businesses grow and prosper online. In this powerful conversation, Jeanne shares the mindset shifts, strategies, and leadership principles that helped her rise from hardship to extraordinary success. She opened up about overcoming limiting beliefs, creating meaningful impact through service, and helping entrepreneurs maximize profits while staying aligned with their purpose and values. Academic Impact Podcast 293 © 2026 ISBN 978976975207.mp3Abstract This study examines the linguistic landscape of first-century Palestine to analyze the languages spoken by Jesus of Nazareth. Drawing from historical, biblical, and etymological evidence, it identifies Aramaic as Jesus' primary spoken language, Hebrew as the liturgical and scriptural medium, and Greek as a secondary language for broader communication. Biblical passages containing Aramaic expressions, Hebrew scriptural readings, and Greek interactions are examined. This investigation highlights the multilingual environment in which Jesus lived, providing insight into the transmission of his teachings and the interpretation of the New Testament.Dr. William Anderson Gittens,D.D.Podcast 293 The Languages of Jesus Linguistic and Bibilical Perspectives. I am incredibly grateful to my late parents, Charles and Ira Gittens, for all the blessings life has bestowed upon me. They gave me their creative spirit and wisdom, which have consistently inspired me throughout my life. Their counsel and encouragement continue to resonate within me, shaping my path and purpose. Your presence uplifts and consoles me, and for that I will always be grateful. I would want to express my gratitude to my sisters, Emerald, Marcella, and Cheryl, as well as my brothers, Shurland, Charles, Ricardo, and my late brothers Arnott and Stephen, for being my unwavering travel partners.Every one of you has made a distinct contribution to my story, reminding me of the significance of family relationships in forming my current identity. My relatives Joy Mayers, Kevin and Ernest Mayers, Donna Archer, Avis Dyer, and Jackie Clarke have my sincere gratitude. My life has been immensely enhanced by your love and friendship. I had the honuor of learning from outstanding mentors while attending New Jersey City University (NJCU), including the late Dr. Joseph Drew, Merline Mayers, Mrs. Ellen Gordon, Dr. Nicholas Gordon, Rev. In this Senedd Election Special, we tried very hard to interview someone from Reform UK about the party's education policy offerings for the upcoming Senedd elections. Send us Fan MailScaling a social enterprise can feel like the only way to prove you are “serious”, but that pressure can quietly push brilliant organisations into growth they are not ready for. I'm joined by Clodagh O'Reilly, an Irish social enterprise practitioner turned researcher, to unpack what scaling really involves and why slowing down can be the most strategic move you make. We get into the reality behind the headline numbers: the messy middle where your mission, your income model, your capacity, and your leadership all collide. Clodagh shares what she learned from years of practice and her PhD research into social enterprise scaling, including the questions too many teams skip while they rush into staffing, operations, and financing. We talk about proving your concept, pulling your model apart to find the critical success factors, and avoiding the trap of “scaling on shaky ground”. We also challenge the idea that every organisation must expand sites or turnover, exploring alternative scaling pathways such as sharing your model, influencing policy, changing behaviours, partnering well, and even considering mergers where it strengthens long-term impact. We also zoom out to the social enterprise ecosystem in Ireland: what is improving, where support is still thin for later-stage growth, and how social procurement and public sector tenders are evolving. You'll hear why consortium bids are becoming more common, what readiness really looks like for public contracts, and how EU funding could play a bigger role. If you care about social impact, impact measurement, sustainable growth, and practical strategy for mission-led organisations, you'll leave with clearer thinking and sharper questions. Subscribe, leave a review, and share the show with someone building social change, then tell us what smart scaling looks like in your work.Find out more about Clodagh's work at: https://www.socialenterprisesolutions.ie/Support the showHi, I'm Heidi Fisher, the host of the Make an Impact Podcast. Do your interviews feel repetitive or shallow? Most podcasters jump straight into the interview format without any formal training in journalism, leading to cookie-cutter episodes that fail to stand out in a crowded market. This lack of interview strategy often results in missed opportunities for deep emotional connections and long-term listener engagement. In this episode of Podcasting Unlocked, Alesia sits down with former investigative journalist and award-winning storyteller Tanya Targett Camacho. They discuss how to move beyond the surface-level "journalist" role and become a master interviewer who can sit in silence, ask intentional questions, and create an experience that is truly unique for your listeners. If you're tired of asking the same questions as everyone else and want to learn how to uncover the powerful, untold stories within your guests, this episode is for you. This week, episode 262 of Podcasting Unlocked is about journalism secrets for high-impact podcast interviews! Often called the “Media Darling,” Tanya Targett Camacho is an award-winning former investigative journalist turned video storytelling strategist for female entrepreneurs. Known for her fearless approach to uncovering golden soundbites, Tanya has helped women in 12 countries turn interviews into binge-worthy content — generating $7.4M+ in free publicity and features in The New York Times, Forbes, HuffPost, CNN, BBC, and FOX. In this episode of Podcasting Unlocked, Tanya Targett Camacho is sharing the importance of listening to the answers your interviewees give you and actionable steps you can take right now to go deeper in your podcast interviews. Tanya and I also chat about the following: Why sitting in silence is often the most powerful tool in an interviewer's toolkit. The importance of focusing on what your listeners need to hear, not what makes your guest look perfect.Using intentional questions to uncover the "why" behind the guest's experiences, transforming a simple Q&A into a high-impact storytelling session.Harnessing the power of hope to leave your listeners feeling empowered.Be sure to tune in to all the episodes to receive tons of practical tips on turning your podcast listeners into leads and to hear even more about the points outlined above. Our intention on the Stories of Impact Podcast, whether flora, fauna, homo sapiens, or otherwise, the variety of subjects we've featured across 120+ episodes has underscored our commitment to people's progress and well-being. (It's certainly enriched our wellbeing to tell each story!) But is well-being the same as flourishing, or does one lead to the other? How do we know what flourishing is? What do people actually need to flourish? Times are tough; IS anyone actually flourishing? To answer those questions, we're turning today to two international researchers who are leading a ground-breaking study on human flourishing: Dr. Tyler VanderWeele, John L. Loeb and Francis Lehman Loeb professor of epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and Dr. Byron Johnson, director of The Institute for Studies of Religion and a distinguished professor of the social sciences at Baylor University. The conversation encourages listeners to take accountability for their actions and to learn from their experiences, ultimately moving forward with a positive mindsetTakeawaysLife has different seasons, just like sports.Disappointment can lead to personal growth.Self-reflection is crucial during tough times. We often blame external factors for our failures. It's important to learn from our mistakes.High expectations are necessary, but so is patience. We should be as critical of ourselves as we are of others.Every setback is an opportunity for growth.Understanding our emotions can help us respond better.Taking small steps can lead to significant change.
How do volunteer leaders move from being seen as “extra hands” to strategic drivers of mission success? In this episode of the Volunteer Nation Podcast, Tobi Johnson is joined by Chris Wade and Matthew Cobble, co-hosts of the Time for Impact Podcast in the UK, for a practical and thought-provoking conversation about building influence through impact. Together, they explore why volunteering needs to be reframed as community participation and talent, not just unpaid labor and how leaders of volunteers can use data, stories, and strategic thinking to elevate their role inside organizations. This episode goes beyond counting hours or outputs and dives into how volunteer engagement directly contributes to outcomes, organizational strategy, and long-term change. Full show notes: 193. Claire Johnston is a wife, mother, and, as her husband proudly jokes, a social work entrepreneur. Claire is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and certified Oncology Social Worker. She is also a childhood cancer survivor herself, which propelled her work into the field of social work to help others who are navigating challenging circumstances. Claire works part-time as the Oncology Social Worker at AdventHealth Porter in Denver, is an adjunct faculty for the Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Denver, and works on a contract basis in the field of child welfare.Claire is also the Executive Director of, and inspiration behind, Christmas Commandos, a nonprofit organization that provides emotional support during the holiday season to families who have experienced an out of order loss of a loved one. This support is delivered through the anonymous and secret delivery of meaningful gifts for surviving family members, which are specially shopped for, wrapped and packaged with love. These gifts are secretly delivered to the recipient family's doorstep one evening leading up to Christmas, tagged with a note signed from the Christmas Commandos. The note shares that these gifts have been delivered in the spirit of love as a reminder that their community has not forgotten about them during an incredibly difficult time in their lives. A small angel statue in memory of their loved one is also left on their doorstep, and their front yard is decorated with holiday cheer – garlands, ornaments, and candy canes.https://www.christmascommandos.org/https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100064881512164https://www.instagram.com/christmascommandos*************************************************************Judy Carlson is the CEO and Founder of the Judy Carlson Financial Group, where she helps couples create personalized, coordinated financial plans that support the life they want to live – now and in the future. As an Independent Fiduciary and Comprehensive Financial Planner, Judy specializes in retirement income and wealth decumulation strategies.
