Two special guests join us on the latest episode of HFTB. First we are joined by Ritchie from UK upstarts Crostpaths, and then we talk to Timo from Austrian metallers Oceans, who are signed to Nuclear Blast. Matt and Scott talk about Tool's upcoming album which has 7 songs and totals 80 minutes in length, and next year's Five Finger Death Punch tour with Megadeth and Bad Wolves.

Former lead guitarist of Machine Head, Ahrue Luster joins the show to talk about 'The Burning Red', a powerhouse album which celebrated its 20th birthday a few weeks ago. Ahrue talks about joining the band, recording with Ross Robinson, how their cover of 'Message in a Bottle' came about, and how it remains Machine Head's second best-selling album to date. He also gives us his five favourite albums ever released.

Alfonso Civile from Michigan metallers Heartsick joins the show to talk about the band's latest album 'Sleep Cycles' and a whole lot more. Matt and Scott discuss the new Bad Wolves and Cold songs, album releases from Thy Art Is Murder, Scott Stapp and Slipknot; and some of their favourite gig experiences from over the years.

Joining us on the show is Loser vocalist Alex Stankewitz, as we talk about the Michigan nu-metal revivalist's brand new album 'Never Young'. We also discuss Alex's love of nu-metal, signing to Frankie Palmeri's Redzone Records, and what the scene is like in Michigan right now. Matt and Scott disect the new Korn track, celebrate 19 years since the release of Deftones' incredible 'White Pony' album, and just chat shit about whatever they feel like.

HFTB returns from a six month break with Bryce and Billy from hard rockers Heartist, who themselves have recently returned with their first release since 2014. We talk about why they have been gone for so long, what led to their brand new EP 'Sleep', and we talk about dream band line-ups and favourite albums. Matt and Scott discuss the new Hed PE album, Slipknot's new masks, and Limp Bizkit's 'Significant Other' album turning 20 years old.

Kyle Pfeiffer of Blacklite District returns for his second special guest slot to talk about the band's upcoming album 'Through the Ages' and the success the duo have earned in the last 12 months. Benji Webbe from Skindred joins us to talk about the band's successful summer festival shows all over the world, as well as their latest record 'Big Tings'.
