I den sidste del af Besættelsen blev 101 danskere henrettet af den tyske besættelsesmagt ved skydning i Ryvangen. Det var et område, der hidtil havde været øvelsesområde for Ingeniørtropperne ved Svanemøllens Kaserne. De henrettede blev sammen med andre faldne modstandsfolk begravet i stilhed nær henrettelsesstedet, men uden at de pårørende blev orienteret. Kort efter Befrielsen blev ligene fundet, gravet op og identificeret. Politikerne besluttede hurtigt at indrette en mindelund for de henrettede og de på anden vis faldne modstandsfolk. Mindelunden betragtes siden genbegravelsen den 29. august 1945 af modstandsfolkene som national helligdom. I en ny bog ”De Dødes Marker” fortæller de to forfattere, Anna Wagn og Kasper Them Larsen, der til daglig begge formidler beretninger fra og om Mindelunden, historien om unge to mænd, der begge endte deres liv foran en henrettelsespeloton i foråret 1945. Den ene hviler der fortsat, mens den anden efter at have hvilet i fem år i Det Store Gravfelt blev gravet op og genbegravet et andet sted. This week, we're scratching The Itch to play DED. As in, we've played DED's new album Resent (out September 19th) so much that we had to have frontman Joe Cotela on to talk about it. Joe talks about the perhaps unconscious decision to go heavier after a more melodic turn on 2021's School of Thought, how he prefers to use heavyweight guests like Chad Gray, Chris Motionless, and Danny Leal on more brutal tracks rather than for radio clout, and how humility is always more attractive than ego. Si consideramos la vida tan agitada y ajetreada que llevamos, ese reposo pareciera algo muy bueno, ¿cierto? Pero, ¿de qué se trata exactamente y cómo entramos en Él? En los capítulos tres y cuatro de Hebreos se compara el reposo de Dios con la posesión de la Tierra Prometida por el pueblo de Israel. Esa tierra iba a ser un lugar donde todas las necesidades serían suplidas; un lugar donde serían libres de los ataques de sus enemigos; un lugar del que nadie podría sacarlos. Sólo debían entrar a la tierra y poseerla. Pero hubo algo que les impidió hacerlo: la incredulidad y la desobediencia. Estando en comunión con Él por medio de la oración y de la Palabra: ¡esa es la labor que te adentrará a Su reposo! Nunca olvidaré cuando recibí esa revelación. Había estado aprendiendo los principios de la fe y esforzándome por guardarlos. En ese entonces, parecía que deshacerme de la duda y la incredulidad sería difícil. Pero, un día, empecé a enfocarme en conocer al Padre en lugar de sólo conocer acerca de Él. Cuando lo hice, Él empezó a revelarse. Me dio muestras de Su corazón, Su naturaleza y Su amor. Cuando me mostró cuánto quería hacer por Sus hijos, mi lucha se convirtió en paz, mi duda en confianza y mi temor en obediencia firme. Entonces, pude acceder a Su reposo. Proponte conocer a tu Padre. A la postre, y dada la destreza culinaria de Amaranta, las tripas se convertían en un alimento de grato sabor.Tenían una vecina, llamada Mariquita, que un día se dirigió a la choza de Florencio y Amaranta para pedirles un poco de sal. Al ver a Amaranta guisando aquellas repugnantes tripas, le dijo:-Las compra Florencio en el matadero que hay cerca del cemen-terio, ¿verdad?-Así es -respondió Amaranta.Entonces Mariquita les contó que aquellas tripas no eran de animales, sino de fantasmas.-¡Qué cosas dices! -exclamó el buen Florencio echándose a reír.-Es verdad -insistió Mariquita. El cura es el que hace eso; es un brujo.Poco después murió Mariquita.Una mañana en la que Florencio iba al matadero, vio venir hacia él una manada de toros. Cuando llegaron a su altura, oyó algo en extremo curioso: un toro le preguntaba a otro, en el idioma de los cristiapos, si era la primera vez que iba al matadero. Al cabo de un tiempo, vio a un precioso toro negro con manchas blancas en el rabo y en el pecho que salía de la iglesia y que se alejaba. Cansada de esperar, volvió a su casa. Florencio no regresó. Todos creyeron que había muerto y la gente empezó a llamar a su esposa la viuda Amaranta.Ella se tuvo que poner a trabajar para sacar adelante a sus hijos. Por ayudar a la recolección a sus vecinos, recibía algún dinero y con eso vivía.Una mañana, en la que se hallaba segando en el campo, se le acercó un hombre muy hermoso. Te hallarás de repente haciendo lo mismo que ellos hacen: su forma de ser te afectará. Será inevitable, especialmente si son personas que respetas y admiras. Lo mismo sucede en tu relación con Dios. Si pasas mucho tiempo con Él, Su influencia empezará a plasmarse en tu vida. Los caminos de Dios serán tus caminos. Entonces, ponte a Su disposición al orar en el Espíritu, alabándolo y amándolo. Invierte tiempo en Su Palabra, rodeado de personas que aman Su Palabra y la ponen en práctica. Sin proponértelo, percibirás que algo está cambiando. Encontrarás que tu carácter se vuelve más como el de Él. Comenzarás a pensar como Él lo hace, a hablar como Él e incluso a actuar como Él. Su imagen comenzará a proyectarse, desde tu propio interior. The 2024 edition of IMTS – The International Manufacturing Technology Show welcomed more than 89,000 attendees to Chicago last week. While only a portion of the show's 1,500 exhibitors were offering additive manufacturing equipment or services, AM nevertheless had a significant footprint at this show.   «De modo que aún queda un reposo para el pueblo de Dios… Procuremos, pues, entrar en ese reposo, para que nadie siga el ejemplo de los que desobedecieron» (Hebreos 4:9,11) El reposo de Dios. Si consideramos la vida tan agitada y ajetreada que llevamos, ese reposo pareciera algo muy bueno, ¿cierto? Pero, ¿de qué se trata exactamente y cómo entramos en Él? En los capítulos tres y cuatro de Hebreos se compara el reposo de Dios con la posesión de la Tierra Prometida por el pueblo de Israel. Esa tierra iba a ser un lugar donde todas las necesidades serían suplidas; un lugar donde serían libres de los ataques de sus enemigos; un lugar del que nadie podría sacarlos. Sólo debían entrar a la tierra y poseerla. Pero hubo algo que les impidió hacerlo: la incredulidad y la desobediencia. Como creyentes, nosotros también tenemos la oportunidad de entrar a una Tierra Prometida de abundancia y paz; una tierra donde podemos descansar de nuestras luchas y disfrutar de la victoria de Dios. Para entrar en ella debemos hacer lo que el pueblo de Israel no hizo: confiar en Dios y obedecer Su voz. ¿Cómo alcanzas ese lugar de confianza y obediencia? Al conocer a tu Padre. Estando en comunión con Él por medio de la oración y de la Palabra: ¡esa es la labor que te adentrará a Su reposo! Nunca olvidaré cuando recibí esa revelación. Había estado aprendiendo los principios de la fe y esforzándome por guardarlos. En ese entonces, parecía que deshacerme de la duda y la incredulidad sería difícil. Pero, un día, empecé a enfocarme en conocer al Padre en lugar de sólo conocer acerca de Él. Cuando lo hice, Él empezó a revelarse. Me dio muestras de Su corazón, Su naturaleza y Su amor. Cuando me mostró cuánto quería hacer por Sus hijos, mi lucha se convirtió en paz, mi duda en confianza y mi temor en obediencia firme. Entonces, pude acceder a Su reposo. Proponte conocer a tu Padre. Dedícate a esa tarea. Haz que sea tu “labor”. ¡Él tiene una Tierra Prometida de reposo que aguarda por ti!
