Nancy Schlichting is the former CEO of Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Jared Tadje is an orthopedic surgeon from Idaho and the head of Tadje Orthopedics. Dr. Tadje received his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University and his medical degree at the University of Virginia where he published several pieces of research on sports injuries on shoulders and knees. Dr. Tadje completed his residence at the University of Michigan. Dr. Tadje has travelled around the world, including to Nepal, to perform surgeries in underserved areas. Now, Dr. Tadje speaks to Health Conscious about the challenges of running small private practices, and the ways he navigates being both a provider and an administrator.
