    Ivy Insights

The Vegetarian Zen podcast is truly a gem in the world of podcasts. I have been a longtime listener and feel like Larissa and Vickie are my close friends. I tune in to their episodes whenever I can, whether I'm at the gym, driving to work, or doing chores around the house. It feels like we're just hanging out and having a conversation. The best part about this podcast is that it is approachable, compassionate, informative, and funny all at the same time. Larissa and Vickie have a mission of spreading love and kindness as people learn about a plant-based lifestyle, and it truly shows in every episode. What I appreciate the most is their inclusivity - they welcome everyone, regardless of where they are on their journey to a plant-based lifestyle.

One of the best aspects of The Vegetarian Zen podcast is how well-researched and professional it is despite its conversational style. Larissa and Vickie are able to present complex ideas in an easy-to-understand manner while still providing expert knowledge. Their content covers a wide range of topics related to vegetarianism and veganism, from health tips to practical advice for everyday life. They also bring on guests who share their expertise and experiences, adding even more depth to the discussions. Additionally, the occasional random animal sounds that make their way into the episodes add a delightful touch of humor.

In terms of downsides, it's hard for me to find any significant negatives about this podcast. However, if I had to nitpick, I would say that occasionally some episodes may not resonate with every listener depending on their personal preferences or interests. But overall, the quality of content remains consistently high.

In conclusion, The Vegetarian Zen podcast is an incredible resource for anyone interested in vegetarianism or veganism. Larissa and Vickie create a warm and welcoming environment where people at all stages of their plant-based journey can learn and share. The information they provide is invaluable, and their genuine passion for spreading love and kindness shines through in every episode. Whether you're new to a plant-based lifestyle or have been living it for years, this podcast is like having good friends walk with you on your journey. I highly recommend giving it a listen - you won't be disappointed!

Pi Day is March 14. If you're not sure what Pi Day is, it's a math-inspired holiday honoring the number π (3.14). What's to celebrate about that? You can find out more at Piday.org. But, if you landed on this page, I'm guessing you're here for the P-I-E kind of pie. When it comes to dessert, I'll choose pie over cake every time. There's absolutely nothing wrong with cake but for me, a perfectly flaky crust, creamy or fruity filling, and the first forkful of pure comfort food satisfies more than any cake ever could.  In fact, I've even started asking for birthday pies instead of cakes!  And since Pi Day is basically an open invitation to indulge in all things pie-related, how about we celebrate with a lineup of 10 delicious vegan pies (including my favorite)?
