Druidcraft isn't just magic—it's a path to freedom, rooted in tradition yet open to personal discovery.--- Join and support the community: https://www.creationspaths.com/ This episode explores Druidcraft as a path to personal and spiritual liberation, discussing the final chapter of Philip Carr-Gomm's book Druidcraft and its teachings on freedom, rootedness, and transformation. Hosts Charlie and Brian, both Christopagan Druids, reflect on their journeys into Druidry, Irish Paganism, and Christopaganism, emphasizing the importance of finding personal connection and meaning in spiritual practice. They discuss the eight seasonal festivals, the importance of storytelling in Druidry, and the need to actively engage in spiritual work rather than passively consuming teachings. The episode also touches on the false sense of rootedness that comes from societal shackles, the value of finding true belonging, and how Druidry fosters personal empowerment and spiritual autonomy. As they prepare for the upcoming Spring Equinox, Charlie shares how discovering a reference to Aengus in Ross Nichols' Book of Druidry transformed their understanding of the festival, illustrating how new insights can deepen spiritual connection. The discussion also highlights the contrast between imperial religions as passive "restaurant experiences" versus Druidry's active engagement in spiritual "kitchen work." The episode concludes with reflections on how Druidcraft encourages freedom of thought, diverse personal experiences with deities, and the transformative power of storytelling and ritual.Thank you for Liking and Subscribing to this podcastThank you for sharing this episode with your loved ones, friends and community--- Thank you for Tips or Donations: https://ko-fi.com/cedorsett https://patreon.com/cedorsett https://cash.app/$CreationsPathsSubstack: https://www.creationspaths.com/ For all of the things we are doing at The Seraphic Grove go to Creation's Paths https://www.creationspaths.com/ For Educational Resource: https://wisdomscry.com --- A Christopagan Manifesto--- Answer to the Call: A Dream of an Oak Church Guided Meditations Playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLV0C8kiTKv0J2QAAlD1uaIJvQ3Sr9sIqO Christopagan Playlist:https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLV0C8kiTKv0ISXDQkZBRB7EHrUUJgXlGN The Everything Playlist:https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLV0C8kiTKv0Ln3eGW-tDk2R68PM6c182OCreation's Paths Podcast: http://www.creationspaths.com/podcast Church of the Oak Podcast: http://churchoftheoak.com/Hallowstead Podcast: http://hallowstead.com/Social Connections: BlueSky https://bsky.app/profile/creationspaths.com Threads https://www.threads.net/@creationspaths Instagram https://www.instagram.com/creationspaths/#Christopagan #CreationSpirituality #ChristianWitch #Paganism #Esoteric #Magic #Druidry #Mysticism #Spirituality #Occult #WitchCraft #Wicca #IrishPaganism #CelticPaganism #Magick #Polytheism #Enchantment #ManannanMacLir #SpiritualFreedom## Chapters:00:00 Introduction to Druidcraft01:05 Meet Your Hosts: Charlie and Brian01:15 Reflections on the Final Chapter of Druidcraft03:02 Personal Journeys and the Power of Belonging06:17 The Importance of Rooting and Liberation09:08 The Eight Festivals and Seasonal Reflections13:25 The Role of Stories in Druidry21:13 The Kitchen Analogy: Engaging Fully in Druidcraft26:26 Community and Individual Experiences28:41 Conclusion and Listener Engagement Get full access to Creation's Paths at www.creationspaths.com/subscribe
Teastaíonn ó Aire na Gaeltachta gníomhú láithreach agus an t-athbhreithniú atá á dhéanamh ar phleananna teanga i gceantair Ghaeltachta
Comhrá le Teachta Dála agus urlabhraí do chúrsaí Gaeilge ag Sinn Féin, Aengus Ó Snodaigh, faoin oiread a thit amach i rith na seachtaine i dTeach Laighin ó thaobh na Gaeilge de.
Beidh an Dáil ag teacht le chéile inniu don chéad seisiún ceart ó toghadh Taoiseach roinnt seachtainí ó shin. Tá roinnt éilimh déanta ó thaobh an teanga agus na Gaeltachta ach anois agus clár an Rialtais le cur i bhfeidhm, céard iad na rudaí is mó go mbeidh tús áite le tabhairt dhoibh?
In the past stout beer has been touted for its supposed health benefits. Is there any truth to those claims - and what happens if you take the alcohol out?CrowdScience listener Aengus pondered these questions down at the pub, after noticing most of his friends were drinking non-alcoholic beers. He wondered how the non-alcoholic stuff is made – what's taken out and what's added in – and whether the final product is better for you than the alcoholic version. It's a question that takes us to Belgium, home to the experimental brewery of a global drinks company which takes the growing market for alcohol-free beer very seriously. David De Schutter, head of research and development, shows host Marnie Chesterton how to take alcohol out of beer without spoiling the flavour. We also find our way to a yeast lab in Leuven, Belgium where Kevin Verstrepen and his team have found another way to make alcohol-free beer with the help of industrious microbes: yeast varieties that brew beer without producing any alcohol in the first place. And how do they compare to the alcoholic versions? We discuss the importance of aromas in our perception of beer's taste. So should listener Aengus stick to non-alcoholic stout? We speak to scientist Tim Stockwell about the health drawbacks of alcohol, even in moderation. And gut microbiome researcher Cláudia Marques fills us in on her delicious pilot study, which looked at the effects of both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beers on our digestive tract. Along the way, Marnie taste-tests what's on the market, and asks the experts why this particular grocery shelf has become so much bigger and more flavourful in recent years.Presenter: Marnie Chesterton Producer: Sam Baker Editor: Cathy Edwards Production co-ordinator: Ishmael Soriano Technical producers: Giles Aspen, Andrew Garratt and Donald MacDonald(Image: Close-up of waitress holding craft beer at bar, Brazil Credit: FG Trade via Getty Images)

On today's episode we're focused on the provision of Artists Workspaces in Ireland.Specifically, this episode was made in response to the recent Government initiative, providing €6 million euro in funding towards artist spaces nationwide. The Pilot Scheme, in collaboration with Local Authorities intends to increase the stock of artist workspaces in cities and towns across the country.Launching the initiative last month, Minister For The Arts Catherine Martin said “I have been acutely aware of the pressures that artists and creatives, including those in the electronic music sector, have faced in finding suitable workspaces”This initiative follows on from the 2023 Dublin based Space To Create scheme, which will see the development of 60 artist workspaces in the capital and to find out more about what this will entail, Danny Carroll spoke to three people with a keen interest in how the initiative may benefit artists and communities and whether it goes far enough.First off, we're going to hear from Coilin O'Reilly. As well as being the Chief Executive of Carlow County Council, he's the chair of the Rural Development, Community, Culture and Heritage Committee, also known as the RCCH.Coilin was kind of enough to give some background on how the initiative came about and some of the practicalities of what it will entail. Also giving us his perspective today is Aengus Ó Snodaigh, Sinn Fein TD and spokesperson on the Arts. Aengus is of the opinion that the initiative and 6 million euro put forward is “a modest amount”, and makes the case for more investment in the arts and its value to Irish society. Finally, we hear from Dublin City Council's Arts Officer, Ray Yeates. Ray represents one of the local authorities trying to source and redevelop spaces for use by artists. For any musicians listening, wondering when they'll be able to move into a workspace, it's going to take a minute or two, but we hope you find this episode interesting in the meantime.
The ancient Irish site of Newgrange is a neolithic tomb and a mythic womb. featuring at the heart of stories which have been told for thousands of years. These two stories of Newgrange, also called Brú na Bóinne, and its inhabitants, the Tuatha Dé Danann or old gods the Dagda, Boanne, Aengus, and Cáer, demonstrate the ancient Irish view of nature as cyclical, and offer us a glimpse at something more, in the times when we are closest to the mysterious Celtic Otherworld. This St. Patrick's Day, Paul and Dan discuss the rich history of Irish myths, legends, and stories in the D&D game. From Druids and Bards to the Banshees and Firbolg, what are some of the best ways to spice up your game with inspirations from the Emerald Isle? Irish mythology is the body of myths indigenous to the island of Ireland. It was originally passed down orally in the prehistoric era. In the early medieval era, some myths were transcribed by Christian monks, who heavily altered and Christianised the myths. Irish mythology is the best-preserved branch of Celtic mythology. The main supernatural beings in Irish mythology are the Túatha Dé Danann ("the folk of the goddess Danu"), also known by the earlier name Túath Dé ("god folk" or "tribe of the gods"). Early medieval Irish writers also called them the fir dé (god-men) and cenéla dé (god-kindreds), possibly to avoid calling them simply 'gods'. They are often depicted as kings, queens, bards, warriors, heroes, healers and craftsmen who have supernatural powers and are immortal. Prominent members include The Dagda ("the great god"); The Morrígan ("the great queen" or "phantom queen"); Lugh; Nuada; Aengus; Brigid; Manannán; Dian Cécht the healer; and Goibniu the smith. They are also said to control the fertility of the land; the tale De Gabáil in t-Sída says the first Gaels had to establish friendship with the Túath Dé before they could raise crops and herds. They dwell in the Otherworld but interact with humans and the human world. Many are associated with specific places in the landscape, especially the sídhe: prominent ancient burial mounds such as Brú na Bóinne, which are entrances to Otherworld realms. The Túath Dé can hide themselves with a féth fíada ('magic mist'). They are said to have travelled from the north of the world, but then were forced to live underground in the sídhe after the coming of the Irish. Clinician-led healthcare AI company Harrison.ai has built an AI system that serves as “spell checker” for radiologists — flagging critical findings to improve the speed and accuracy of radiology image analysis, reducing misdiagnoses. In the latest episode of NVIDIA's AI Podcast, host Noah Kravitz spoke with Harrison.ai CEO and cofounder Aengus Tran about the company's mission to scale global healthcare capacity with autonomous AI systems. Harrison.ai's initial product, annalise.ai, is an AI tool that automates radiology image analysis to enable faster, more accurate diagnoses. It can produce 124-130 different possible diagnoses and flag key findings to aid radiologists in their final diagnosis. Currently, annalise.ai works for chest X-rays and brain CT scans. While an AI designed for categorizing traffic lights, for example, doesn't need perfection, medical tools must be highly accurate — any oversight could be fatal. To overcome this challenge, annalise.ai was trained on millions of meticulously annotated images — some were annotated three to five times over before being used for training. Harrison.ai is also developing Franklin.ai, a sibling AI tool aimed to accelerate and improve the accuracy of histopathology diagnosis — in which a clinician performs a biopsy and inspects the tissue for the presence of cancerous cells. Similarly to annalise.ai, Franklin.ai flags critical findings to assist pathologists in speeding and increasing the accuracy of diagnoses. Ethical concerns about AI use are ever-rising, but for Tran, the concern is less about whether it's ethical to use AI for medical diagnosis but “actually the converse: Is it ethical to not use AI for medical diagnosis,” especially if “humans using those AI systems simply pick up more misdiagnosis, pick up more cancer and conditions?” Tran also talked about the future of AI systems and suggested that the focus is dual: first, focus on improving preexisting systems and then think of new cutting-edge solutions. And for those looking to break into careers in AI and healthcare, Tran says that the “first step is to decide upfront what problems you're willing to spend a huge part of your time solving first, before the AI part,” emphasizing that the “first thing is actually to fall in love with some problem.”

Episode 77 of the National Leprechaun Museum's Talking Stories Podcast
This week's podcast episode features our special guest harrison.ai, CEO and Co-Founder, Aengus Tran. harrison.ai started with the problem statement of healthcare capacity. According to Aengus, one of the biggest problems of our time is how to look after such a huge population with increased health needs. harrison.ai is looking to scale the global capacity of healthcare by building automation with AI systems and providing clinicians with superpowers of scale. Aengus says, "of all the things being done in in healthcare, scale will be the solution of quality healthcare globally." After moving to Australia from Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam, Aengus was one of very few Vietnamese students at an English-speaking Australian school so quite quickly had to learn the English language. After school Aengus went on to study medicine at university after advice from none other than Paul Ramsay of Ramsay Healthcare - a company that has gone on to invest in harrison.ai. While working through his medical degree, Aengus realised how much in terms of scale was missing from medicine. During his final years of training, Aengus was involved in a research project building technology along with Vertex Health to select human embryo; opening his eyes to the capabilities of AI systems and how they can scale. After starting out in Australia and New Zealand, harrison.ai's radiology arm is regulated with FDA clearance in 38 countries with 1 million live touches and one in four radiologists using their technology in Australia alone. Their north star is to touch 1 million lives per day with their technology. harrison.ai has gone on to raise $US120M in series A and series B with investments from Skip Capital, Blackbird, Horizon Ventures and specialist, strategic, corporate investors Sonic Healthcare and Ramsay Healthcare.
