He is one of the founders of UMVU Agency, Urband MIDI Records, and WHOAMI Records. His love for electronic music began at an early age, further fueled by the experience of building professional speakers with his uncle, which were tested with music from his own portfolio. Manefiu first encountered electronic music at 14, creating his initial compilation from soundtracks of an Ibiza documentary. He began his career by sharing his mixes with friends and playing at local parties. Over time, he ventured into music production but maintained a focus on performing at private events, festivals, and abroad. He has had the opportunity to share the stage with notable names such as Franco Cinelli, Suciu, Dubtil, Dan Andrei, Sublee, Piticu, Sepp, Cally, Mihai Pol, Macarie, Vid, Aamir, Vlad Arapasu, Prichindel, Alejandro Fernandez, and others, performing in cities like Amsterdam, Bucharest, Brasov, Suceava, and Sighisoara, and at festivals including Vuiet and DAVA Festival. With there being three tracks on Side A it is to be expected that one of these tracks will be a tad shorter than the others. Flipping over and Side B treads more towards peak time vibes with ‘Eveileb'. The pumping kick drum and menacing synth lines encounter a sweet contrast by way of the retro synth pads. The pressure drops somewhat to deep house territory on ‘Versatile' and remains there come the start of Side C with ‘Energy Fever'. The low-slung conga laden groover is a sublime piece of dream house more than capable of entrancing a dancefloor. Closing out Side C is ‘CSO All The Way', a shimmering piece of cosmic breaks and the theme creeps over onto the sublime D1 banger ‘Beyond Existence'. Lautaro Scavuzzo nació en Rosario (Arg. 1994), desde temprana edad se vio muy influenciado por el sonido de su ciudad, a la edad de 16 años empieza a dar sus primeros pasos dentro de la producción y un poco después por las mezclas y los discos de vinilo. Desde entonces se compenetró en una búsqueda constante de sonido propio navegando estilos como House, Techno o Mínimal, siempre con la intención de innovar escapando del aburrimiento monótono. Su producciones sin rumbo fijo le han permitido ganarse un lugar en la escena gracias al aval de grandes productores y Dj’s como Mariano, Franco Cinelli, Jorge Savoretti, entre otros. Cuando se para frente a las bandejas predomina la improvisación y versatilidad, esto lo ha llevado a presentarse en escenarios muy variados, desde clubes locales hasta festivales de gran calibre (como Legends en Uruguay), compartiendo cabina con artistas internacionales como Luciano, The Martinez Brothers, Iuly.B, Art Department, Fumiya Tanaka y más.

Manglus aka Pichiflautin is a Uruguayan artist who has taken the djing and producing electronic music as a way of life. From the age of 18 he has spent time in Dublin, Rome, Buenos Aires, Berlin, Barcelona and Punta del Este, with his B2B Ema Remedi he founded Astelagüel, a southamerican label focused on nice grooves between minimalhouse and dub techno. His musical style has been changing over time, as all young and restless artist. Always looking for the groove, the hypnoticas textures and surprises. As a producer,he has turned to machines, to an experimental and playful analog sound technique and the style of his tracks is generally within the minimal-house, although he is always open to new sounds and influences. He has shared booth with artists like: Rhadoo, Petre Inspirescu, Valentino Kanzyani, Audio Werner, Thomas Melchior, Marco Carola, Ray Okpara, Franco Cinelli among others, AstelagÜel (Uruguay), Drumma (Chile), Raw Trax seals (Italy), Pyramid Forest (Argentina), Love Records (Germany) and Get slow (Argentina). This is how the story goes. Late 2010, Argentinian dj/producer Franco Cinelli made good use of Cassius’ “Sound Of Violence” celebrated vocals for an ethereal piece of underground house. He gave the track to a few of his friends, including Esperanza label boss Kasper, D’julz – to whom he just gaved his Planet Dub EP for a Bass Culture release – and Ricardo Villalobos. The later loved the track so much that it becomed one of the landmarks of his recent sets. In the meantime, the Cassius people heard that several Sound Of Violence edits were doing the rounds and decided to work on a remix EP to be released on their own Cassius Records imprint. It was only a matter of time before D’julz introduced Franco to Cassius so they can include his edit in their release. “Cassius – Sound Of Violence (Franco Cinelli remix)” had been released last week and reached top 5 sales on Beatport. Metroline Podcast Series welcomes Jorge Savoretti, the first of many guest djs to be featured on the series. From Rosario, Argentina, Jorge had one appearance on Metroline Limited catalogue with his stunning remix of Suokas track Shivers released on MLTD008 in June 2008. The mix that Jorge submitted for Metroline Podcast Volume 4 is not a studio mix but it was recorded live in Munich at the Harry Klein Club in January 2009. From that moment, he became a relentless music collector, accumulating diverse material ranging in genres from house to synth-pop. In 1996, he made his first attempt behind the turntables as a bedroom dj. Only 15 years old at this time, he began to explore the techno sounds in his hometown, Rosario, Argentina, and was influenced by Argentine favorites Franco Cinelli and Dee Jason. After he started playing in nightclubs in 1999, Jorge took part of countless events both underground and massive. His most accomplished residency was at El Sotano, one of the historical and premier influential clubs of the Argentine underground. He shared the privilege with Nicolas Purman, Franco Cinelli and Lucas Mari. They worked together for three seasons, and developed an exquisite combination of techno and house music, emphasizing on the minimal aspects of the genres and combining it with the spirited electronic sounds of Chicago and Detroit. Jorge with his hard work, dedication, and love for music aides his consistent growth as a DJ, and now he is gaining momentum as a producer as well. His successful debut release in 2005, Frozen, came out on the Argentine net label Igloo, and led him to his first vinyl EP on Esperanza. Afterwards, he also released on labels like Mupa, Dumb Unit (in which he releases his project along with Seph called Geoph Serge), Telegraph or recently M-nus. Consequently, his first European tours started immediately. Nowadays Jorge already played in a lot of the most prestigious clubs around the globe and is already establishing his name as a trademark of quality.
