Overvåkningskameraer fanget hele hendelsesforløpet. Ari kollapset deretter og ble fraktet til sykehus, hvor han ble erklært død. Terroristen overlevde skadene sine og ble senere arrestert.Tusenvis deltok i Aris begravelse i Kfar Etzion.
