FULL STREAM### March 4: Operation Fury and Global Power Shifts (9)SEPTEMBER 1978 TEHRANHeadline: Operation Fury Decimates Iranian Defenses as Allies Watch Closely (10)Summary: By day five, "Operation Fury" has significantly degraded Iranian military capabilities, rendering Chinese and Russian-supplied missile defense systems ineffective. Victoria Coates reports that Iran is increasingly isolated, as Beijing and Moscow have declined requests for direct military help. China, while issuing statements about international law, is facing an energy squeeze as 25% of Gulf oil exports—much of which it relies on—are disrupted. General Blaine Holt discusses the "missile math" of the conflict, noting the asymmetry of $20,000 Iranian drones forcing the use of $4 million Patriot missiles, though massive US bombing campaigns have already serviced over 2,000 targets. Allied nations like Japan and Taiwan are closely monitoring the effectiveness of US missile defense technology for their own security templates. Meanwhile, the US Senatedebates war powers as the air campaign is expected to continue for several weeks. Two of the best defensive players of their era, Richard Sherman and T.J. Ward, finally go head-to-head on one of the biggest questions in NFL history: Who had the best defense—the 2013 Seattle Seahawks’ Legion of Boom or the 2015 Denver Broncos’ No Fly Zone? Sherm and T.J. break it all down, position by position. From Seattle’s legendary secondary with Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor to Denver’s stacked D led by Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware, they cover turnovers, sacks, offensive support, and who really had the tougher path to the Super Bowl.It gets real as both All-Pros passionately defend their squads. Sherman argues the Legion of Boom took over the league with insane takeaways and football IQ, while Ward makes the case for the No Fly Zone’s relentless pass rush and lock-down coverage. They even dig into that unforgettable Super Bowl vs. Peyton Manning and how their defenses matched up against elite QBs like Drew Brees and Cam Newton. So, what do you think—Legion of Boom or No Fly Zone? Secretary of War Pete Hegseth on Wednesday confirmed that a U.S. submarine sank an Iranian warship in the Indian Ocean with a torpedo, noting it was the first time a U.S. submarine sank an enemy vessel by torpedo since World War II. Hegseth vowed continued and intensifying military pressure on Iran, declaring that the campaign was “not a fair fight” and promising sustained operations in the days ahead.Turkey said that NATO air defenses destroyed an Iranian ballistic missile headed into Turkish airspace on Wednesday, marking the first time the alliance member has been drawn into the Middle East conflict and raising the possibility of a major expansion involving bloc allies.

FREE RESOURCE: Relinquishing Your Defenses Ultimately, every person who becomes addicted to any substance or behavioral process is running from knowing how to or being willing to contend with four realities and four promises (from episode #104), which requires that we know what to do with our feelings and needs. We must become “response-able” to contend with life on life's terms. While life is wonderful, it is also very painful. Even love, which is what we most desire, is very painful. We are emotional and spiritual creatures, and we are created to live fully. We are created to find fulfillment in relationship with ourselves, others and God. If we run from feelings and needs and the responsibility, we have to deal with them as emotional and spiritual creatures, we cannot fulfil our desire to live fully and love deeply. On my website, chipdodd.com, you will find a FREE RESOURCE called, Relinquishing Your Defenses. This resource uses a triangle diagram to show the trap we can get caught in if we run from feelings and needs. We can become trapped in a never-ending cycle of avoidance and projection, “mind-reading,” and judgmental conclusions about everyone (Codependency Episodes, 32-44, Season 4). People can get trapped in the victim-martyr-persecutor roles that become a person's reaction to any forms of vulnerability that produce emotional arousal. Anxiety fuels the defensive roles. Judgmentalism creates a repetition of behaviors that a person uses to block or defend themselves from perceived threat. The Victim - The victim role is not about being immature or weak. It is about life experiences in which a child “discovers” that their feeling responses to life are ignored or negated in some other form. The experience creates a sense of helplessness, which means “no help is coming.” Click here to continue reading the episode highlights.
Unlock the future of cybersecurity where AI agents no longer just assist—they act autonomously, making decisions that could impact your entire organization. In this eye-opening episode, Vidit Arora, founder and CEO of Quillr AI, reveals how rapidly AI-powered agents are transforming the digital landscape—and why traditional security systems are already obsolete. As AI agents gain full control over data movement, system modifications, and even decision-making processes, security professionals face unprecedented challenges. Adriel founded Secure Network Operations and the SNOsoft Research Team, whose vulnerability research helped shape modern responsible disclosure practices. He later launched Netragard, pioneering Realistic Threat Penetration Testing, which he now call Red Teaming, and expanding into a broad range of security services. Think you're safe because you never downloaded TikTok? We unpack why that's a myth, how a tiny pixel follows you across unrelated sites, and what to do right now to shut it down. From there we dig into a subtler dilemma hiding in your camera roll: computational photography that quietly invents detail, polishes your face, and reshapes memories. It looks great—until it doesn't. We trade quick tips for getting more honest photos, including RAW capture, disabled scene “optimizations,” and when to favor control over convenience. The conversation then turns to surveillance on your street. A glossy Ring ad promised neighborly teamwork; what many saw instead was a blueprint for crowdsourced tracking layered on top of license plate readers and a standing law enforcement portal. We walk the line between investigative value and normalized monitoring, and share concrete steps communities can take—warrants where appropriate, tighter retention windows, clear opt‑in controls, and public transparency logs.We also open our mailbag for three scams worth saving to muscle memory: a fake Netflix billing email that leads to a sketchy multi‑service “store,” a highly convincing invoice from a compromised vendor account, and an Amazon credential harvester that ends with a fake password‑changed screen. Our playbook is simple and effective: never pay from an email link, verify invoices by phone using a known number, enable multi‑factor authentication, and avoid ACH unless absolutely necessary. Then a hard lesson from the Odido breach in the Netherlands, where millions had full identity records exposed—why port‑out PINs, credit freezes, and vigilant monitoring matter more than ever.Yes, we still make room for pleasure: a Weller Full Proof tasting and a chuckle at a drone‑powered umbrella that follows you around. Most people try to fight temptation in the moment. That's already a losing strategy. In this episode, we break down a powerful truth: you don't build defenses during an attack—you build them beforehand. When temptation, pressure, or spiritual warfare shows up, it simply reveals what you've already prepared (or neglected). This isn't about fear. It's about wisdom, intentionality, and obedience. If you want to withstand attacks, resist temptation, and walk in consistency—not just emotion—this episode will challenge you to stop reacting and start preparing.

At level 11, the Cleric stops being "the healer" and starts being "the department of cosmic corrections." Need a miracle? You've got it. Need a battlefield reorganized? Also you. Need the DM to quietly reconsider every encounter they prepped? Congratulations: you just prepared Heroes' Feast and learned that your god's job description includes "professional problem solver, part-time artillery, full-time vibe check." Welcome to Cleric 11–20, where your faith is strong, your spell list is irresponsible, and your party suddenly thinks every plan can be solved by "ask the Cleric." Show Notes Episode Overview In this episode of RPGBOT.Podcast, we break down how to build and play a D&D 5e Cleric from levels 11–20, where your character graduates from "durable support" to "divine Swiss Army catastrophe." We cover late-tier class features, high-level spell priorities, feat and gear considerations, and how to stay impactful when the game gets weird (and the monsters start having resumes). What Changes at Levels 11–20 Your spell slots get absurd: 6th–9th level spells aren't just stronger—they change what "a problem" even means. Channel Divinity becomes a resource-management minigame: It's no longer "use it when you remember." It's "use it to control the pace of encounters." Your role expands: You're still support… but also control, emergency reset button, and occasionally the party's primary win condition. Late-Tier Cleric Priorities (The "Don't Waste Your Turn" Checklist) Action economy matters more than ever: high-level combats punish "I guess I cast Cure Wounds." Concentration discipline: pick the concentration spell that wins the fight, then protect it like it owes you money. Defenses scale or you get deleted: AC, saves, and positioning keep your miracles online. High-Level Spell Picks That Define Your Cleric Rather than listing everything, we focus on categories of "spells that win sessions," and how to choose within them: Battlefield control & tempo (deny actions, reshape positioning, force bad choices) Pre-fight power (buffs that make the party feel like they're cheating) Hard counters & problem solvers (condition removal, anti-magic, planar nonsense) Clutch buttons (resets, revives, "nope" spells for when the DM smiles too confidently) Feats, Ability Scores, and "High-Level Practicality" When to cap Wisdom, when to take resilience/defensive feats, and when a utility feat is secretly the MVP. War Caster vs. Resilient (Con) (and why your table's encounter style decides this). The "I'm level 15 and still miss" problem: improving reliability via positioning, spell choice, and save targeting. Gear and Magic Items (What You Want and Why) We talk about item functions instead of shopping lists: Concentration protection Mobility and positioning Defensive layers (AC, saves, resistances) Spellcasting flexibility (extra casts, broadened options, panic buttons) Playing Cleric at Tier 4 Without Becoming a Solo Game High-level Clerics can accidentally steal the spotlight. We discuss: How to enable party hero moments while still being decisive When to solve the plot and when to support the plot How to coordinate with the DM so divine power feels epic, not adversarial Key Takeaways Tier 4 Clerics are not "healers," they're strategists. Healing keeps the party alive; control and prevention win fights. Your best turns usually aren't reactive. Preempt threats with positioning, concentration, and proactive tempo spells. Protect concentration like it's your hit points. You can lose the fight without losing HP if you drop the spell that mattered. Pick one job per encounter and do it violently well. Control, buff, counter, rescue—trying to do all of it in one round leads to "meh" turns. Your spell list is a toolbox—prep is gameplay. The difference between "good Cleric" and "legendary Cleric" is often made at dawn. Don't build only for peak moments. Tier 4 is swingy; build for reliability so you're useful even when the boss is immune to your favorite trick. You can be the party's win condition without being the party's main character. Enable your allies' big turns, then drop the miracle when it counts.

We follow the USS Abraham Lincoln as it cuts its transponder, enters emission control, and sprints from the South China Sea toward Iran, transforming from a visible symbol into a hunting platform built for electronic dominance. Along the way, we unpack how stealth aircraft, Growler jamming, and cyber effects turn a carrier strike group into a mobile switch that can dim an adversary's defenses from hundreds of miles out.We draw a straight line from the “electronic curtain” used during the Caracas raid to the calculus now facing Tehran. Iran's anti-access area denial—coastal missiles, layered radars, and long-range shooters—depends on a clean targeting chain. Ghost mode breaks that chain by forcing radars to emit and reveal themselves, giving the Navy the first clear shot in the electromagnetic spectrum. We also revisit the Red Sea's grinding lessons: how static deterrence, bright signatures, and crowded lanes almost broke crews and triggered tragedies, and why the new doctrine is to stop being a target and start being a specter. Now the stakes rise as bombers land in theater, regional fighters spool up, and air defenses shift into position. The Strait of Hormuz narrows the margin for error, where invisibility protects against missiles but complicates navigation among tankers. We share what a potential day-one strike would look like, what Iran's proxies could attempt at sea, and how a critical 72-hour window might define the next phase of global security. If the carrier's lights come back on near a friendly port, deterrence may have worked; if not, the sky could tell the story first. If this deep dive into strategy, electronic warfare, and carrier operations got you thinking, follow the show, share it with a friend, and leave a quick review to help others find it.
