This conversation feels important, and it's one that I haven't heard before. And I always think that if I wish something existed, or wished something had existed for me that I should create it because maybe there are some of you who wish it existed, too.And this podcast is about the signs that your relationship is in trouble, or more specifically, things I can look back now, post divorce and understand that they were pretty significant. Warning signs that I ignored. And I know, I know for a fact, there's so many listeners of this podcast and you're all over the world...so some of you are in this situation right now.Just a warning, I believe that relationships can be saved, but I am coming from the perspective of someone who is really happy with the very difficult decision that I made to end my 18 year relationship. If that perspective is not what you need right now, there is a different podcast out there for you! ---Have you heard about the HOTLINE yet? Welcome to another episode of the Rachel Hollis podcast! I have cedar fever. Don't worry this this episode is not about cedar fever. This episode is about success. It's part of our series on the mindset for success. If you live around Central Texas or have ever lived around Central Texas, and you are for sure familiar if you're not, let me tell you about this crazy thing that happens once a year in Austin and that I did not know about or believe until I lived here. So there's all kinds of cedar trees in central Texas, where I live out in Hill Country outside of Austin, and every year about this time it utterly destroys me.But I was like, You know what part of success is? Doing what needs to be done. And this is what needs to be done right now. So I just wanted to explain to you guys why I'm sounding like that.Today I want to dig into my final thoughts on this, and like the real meat of this conversation. If you listened to the first part of this series, I had you do a little homework, so I asked you to think about your identity and how you self-identify and the beliefs that you have about yourself are the limiting beliefs that you have about yourself because those are so essential when it comes to the success that we experience in life. But for today, I want to get into some tactics, and some of these are things you've maybe heard before. Some of these are things maybe you haven't, but some of the most profound learnings in my life happened when I heard something I had heard before, but for some reason on that particular day in that conference or from that pastor or in that podcast, like something just hit me and I like lightning bolt was able to absorb that information in a way I hadn't before. So I'm hoping that you have that today. If nothing else, then maybe there'll be one great little nugget for you in this conversation.---Have you heard about the HOTLINE yet? Hey, guys. Welcome to a new week and a new episode of the Rachel Hollis podcast. I'm your host, Rachel Hollis, and today I'm slipping a little something into our series on the mindset for success. So if you've been with me for the last couple of episodes, we've been talking all about the thought process and the mindset that you need to be successful. But in the midst of that, I had the opportunity to interview one of my friends, who is maybe the most successful business person I know. I sat down with Russell Brunson, who is the founder and CEO of Clickfunnels. If you're not already familiar, they are one of the biggest, if not the biggest, company that exists for helping online marketing entrepreneurs build bigger companies. Russell will explain it in this interview. Much better than I do, but the point is this person has built a company from the ground up and not just built it to be sort of successful, but wildly, wildly successful. So who better to ask about what success looks like? Because not only is Russell financially killing it and has been for a really long time, he's genuinely one of the best people I know, like the best, most humble, kindest, most excited, joyful about life. And I really wanted to know how he defined success and what he thinks is necessary for the rest of us to have in our mindset to make us successful too. So I hope you dig today's episode. If so, be sure and take a screenshot, tag me, tag Russell and let us know what you thought, but this is my conversation with my buddy Russell Brunson.---Have you heard about the HOTLINE yet? Hey, guys. Welcome to another episode of the Rachel Hollis podcast. I'm Rachel Hollis, your host. And I am coming to you on a very cold day in Austin, Texas. I'm wearing sweat pants and doing this recording in my home office because that's how we do things now.We had a team meeting today and we always start every meeting with gratitude. And we all were just talking about feeling grateful to get to work from home and going into 2022 and just wanting to make sure that we're all really taking advantage of that. And I just am feeling the gratitude for that and Im feeling gratitude for the pieces of the last couple of years that have been good, it feels important to say that because I just feel like there's such a focus on how hard it has been and how hard it still is and and certainly, OMG, it's certainly true. But there are pieces of this time that I have really appreciated, and slowing down has been one of them.I say this in the hopes that maybe you find some gratitude for something you've learned in the last couple of years, or maybe your gratitude is a completely different thing entirely. But I think the action of looking for goodness even in hard seasons is how we keep going. It's how we stand up and go again and keep trying and find courage. And that's what I'm doing right now.Today I want to talk with you guys about "success", and maybe reframing what it means to go after and achieve success...or reframing what success even means in the first place. I hope you enjoy this next installment in my Mindset series!---Have you heard about the HOTLINE yet? Call (737) 400-HOCO, and press 1 to leave a question for Rach. Hi, guys. Happy New Year, and welcome to the first brand new episode of 2022. This feels pretty exciting to me for a few reasons. Number one, I realized the other day that I started this podcast in 2017, So 2017, 18, 19 21, 22...That means we're going into our fifth year of the Rachel Hollis podcast, and back when I started, it was called something totally different. In fact, it's had a couple of different names over the years and ultimately just became the space where I could hang out with you and interview cool people and ask, I think, interesting questions, and talk about stuff that's going on in my life or lessons that I've learned. And I just wanted to start by thanking you for being along for the ride and whether this is your first episode ever (Hey, girl!) or you've been a listener for years, I just really appreciate the opportunity to keep showing up with you every single week. Now, let's talk about the mindset you need to achieve those new years goals!---Have you heard about the HOTLINE yet? Remember when we had an episode where we featured...y'all? Those people in our community who called into the podcast hotline to tell me, to tell us, about their experience with the Ten Dollar Challenge. (If you haven't heard the episode about manifesting for beginners, check out episode 227 of the podcast. That's Part 1, and 229 is Part 2.)Well, that podcast episode apparently inspired a whole new group of people to try and all we got. We got so many calls into the hotline with so many amazing stories that I just have to share it again because I think in life, the most inspiring thing we will ever see is other human beings trying something that we're curious about or interested in. And I hope that these stories encourage you to believe that something more is possible inside of each and every single day of your life.So these are your stories about how you took Episode 227 and turned it into something good inside of your day. As promised today, I am sitting down with world renowned medium Tina Powers. If you happen to listen to a podcast a few weeks ago about intuition and learning how to tap into your intuition, I told the story of going to a weekend workshop taught by a medium. Tina is that medium, so I actually think it's really valuable to go back and start with that podcast episode on intuition. But either way, I know you guys are going to be fascinated by the way Tina sees the world, both literally and figuratively.Tina Powers is a former news anchor and reporter who now works as a professional medium and received psychic messages. She laughingly says it's reporting for the other side. She's been sensitive since childhood, as she'll tell you today in our conversation, and has felt the presence of people have crossed over. But the intuitive information became a much more powerful force after she made the decision to leave her job in news. This is an inspiring story for anybody who feels called to leave the job that their end and pursue something different, especially if the thing you're considering pursuing makes everybody else think that maybe you've gone a little bit crazy. This is also a really powerful interview to tap into your guides, your angels, your loved ones who have passed over. Tina lectures on intuition and holds private sessions with clients from all over the world. She is wise and warm and funny, and you will feel instantly at ease with her the same way that I did. I hope you love this conversation with Tina Powers.------------------------------Have you heard about the HOTLINE yet? Call (737) 400-HOCO, and press 1 to leave a question for Rach. Hi, guys. It's Rach here, and I am in Hawaii for the rest of December. So this week's podcast episode is brought to you by large beachy hair and linen shirts and, you know, barefoot. I started to record this podcast episode a couple of days ago and ended up recording the podcast about losing my baby instead. When I sat down that day to record it wasn't the intention to do that episode, but I didn't feel like I could talk about anything else until I had talked about that.So I just want to thank every person who sent me a DM or an email. I had the most incredible outpouring from women all over the world who had lost a baby or suffered a miscarriage. And I just really appreciated that feedback because the intention behind putting that out in the world was just that. Now I can show up for you again truthfully and authentically without needing to sort of pretend that things are OK if they're not. It's sort of a beautiful intro to this week's episode, which is the second part of the series on how to stop caring what people think.------------------------------Have you heard about the HOTLINE yet? We talk about a little bit of everything here on the podcast, but I will forever and always love a conversation with an entrepreneur who is just killing it. And today's conversation with fashion designer Rebecca Minkoff is just that. She is an industry leader in accessible luxury handbags, accessories, footwear and apparel. Her modern bohemian designs are inspired by strong, confident and powerful women who embody the effortless, free spirited lifestyle. And what's so rad is that Rebecca's story is 20 years in the making. It is a lesson for any of us who are pursuing a dream to never give up, and to believe in your intuition, and to continue to show up for your customer in a way that makes sense for you. I hope you enjoy this conversation with Rebecca Minkoff.------------------------------Have you heard about the HOTLINE yet? Call (737) 400-HOCO, and press 1 to leave a question for Rach. This the start of a new series called How to Stop Caring What People Think, and there's all sorts of thoughts that I have on this. Originally this was going to be a single episode. But then as I started writing all the ideas, and realized we're going to need to do multipart, because I feel like this breaks down into layers. There is this massive anxiety that exists around the opinions of others, and it doesn't really matter what age you are, or what culture. I think we have been taught that other people's opinion determines our worth. And I just think it's really important conversation to have because the world will give us 1,000,000 different things that we can do to try and fit in or to try and be liked or to try and get more likes. And that's not the solution. The solution is, can you find personal freedom in yourself to be yourself? Do you like the person that you are when you're all alone? That is that is freedom. That is the goal, I think, for all of us. I hope you enjoy Part 1 of this conversation!------------------------------Have you heard about the HOTLINE yet? Call (737) 400-HOCO, and press 1 to leave a question for Rach. Today is a pretty interesting conversation, in my opinion ;) I want to tell you guys about this weekend immersion that I just did...its a New Moon! Hopefully you listened to the episode I did about the Full Moon - using the full moon as a ritual for letting go. That's episode 222 if you want to check it out. The New Moon is all about creativity! What are you creating in this season?I just went to a weekend long immersion (or workshop, conference, seminar etc). I spent all day, everyday while I was there I learnt about growing your intuition that was taught by a renowned medium. I know, I know but go with me here and stay curious. I want to share with you just some of the things that I learned on this journey.------------------------------Have you heard about the HOTLINE yet? Today on the show, I am sitting down with Deborah Tuerkheimer, a former prosecutor, legal expert and leading authority on sexual violence, to examine why we are primed to disbelieve allegations of sexual abuse and how we can transform a culture and a legal system structured to dismiss accusers.Look, it's a hard conversation to dig into abuse and abusers and the people that they hurt, but it's an important conversation to understand why culturally, we tend not to believe the people who are getting hurt the most in this conversation. We look at it from a bunch of different angles, and Deborah very graciously allows me to ask a lot of really ignorant questions so that I can better arm myself with information that we should all have. I hope that you will listen in and learn, as I did.------------------------------Have you heard about the HOTLINE yet? Call (737) 400-HOCO, and press 1 to leave a question for Rach. This week on podcast you are listening to calls from...y'all. These are people who have called into the podcast hotline to tell me, to tell us, about their experience with the Ten Dollar Challenge. Now, if you're not familiar with the Ten Dollar Challenge, it was a challenge I gave to the community on a recent episode of the podcast. Specifically, my episodes about manifesting for beginners. So if you've heard about manifesting or the law of attraction and you've always wondered how it works or you're just curious what everyone is talking about with this challenge, check out episode 227 of the podcast. That's Part 1, and 229 is Part 2, and maybe you'll have a story to call in and tell us here on the hotline! Happy Manifesting, and happy Thanksgiving!---Have you heard about the HOTLINE yet? My mission for today's episode is to talk about the holidays. Guys, I want to talk about the holidays in my coaching community have this community of mostly women from all over the world who join me once a month. I teach on a different topic and I pose the topic to my community. So I say, Hey, guys, here's three things that are on my heart. What are you interested in learning about? I'm going into my second month of them choosing manifesting. It's a really popular topic here on the podcast and definitely in coaching. This month I was like, Well, I just got on it, but I have some more info, so I said, OK, I can do. Manifesting 2.0, I can do a conversation about how to overcome and rise above holiday stress, or I can do a conversation about overcoming, rising above handling the stress of the holidays, particularly if you're going to be interacting with people, family, friends, in-laws that can trigger you, that can sort of make the situation not great. And honestly, I think that this still ties in really beautifully with the idea of manifesting because, you know, I'm obsessed with the idea of manifesting the life of your dreams and manifesting a life that feels really good. And I think that there's a way to bring that intentionality into your holiday season. So that's what today's episode is about. And as usual, I have written down all kinds of crazy notes like a serial killer here in my notebook, and I'm just going to go through and kind of share some thoughts for you guys on things that I feel like have really helped me over the years in managing all of it, right? In hosting and traveling during the holidays and having kids and dealing with in-laws and going through holidays post-divorce and what that looks like.---Have you heard about the HOTLINE yet? Today, I have the incredible blessing of getting to share a conversation I had with my friend Jedidiah Jenkins. I interviewed Jedidiah for my conference a little bit ago and it was such a beautiful conversation. I wanted to make sure that you guys got to hear it as well.We talk about what it was like for both of us to grow up in deeply religious homes, as well as how that felt for him as a queer man to come out and to come to grips with the faith that he was raised in and the person he knows himself to be, to beautiful conversation about courage and how to be yourself. And also, he's really funny, and I'm sort of hoping that he'll be my real life new best friend. This is my conversation with Jedidiah Jenkins---Have you heard about the HOTLINE yet? Today, I'm sitting down with the hosts of the new podcast, "Some Of My Best Friends Are". Khalil Gibran Muhammad is a Harvard historian and author of The Condemnation of Blackness, and in every episode, he sits down with his childhood best friend, award winning journalist Ben Austin. They talk about their interracial friendship, using pop culture and history to explore the absurdities and the intricacies of race and racism. And today on the show, we are talking about a little bit of everything, exploring what it looks like to talk openly and honestly about the hard stuff and about the good stuff, what makes us different, what makes us alike, and what are the things we can learn from each other along the way.---Have you heard about the HOTLINE yet? Hall's debut book, Supermarket, made him the first hip-hop artist to have a #1 New York Times bestselling novel and his new, explosive memoir This Bright Future is a raw and unfiltered journey into the life and mind of Bobby Hall, who emerged from the wreckage of a horrifically abusive childhood to become an era-defining artist of our tumultuous age.---Have you heard about the HOTLINE yet? For the whole of The Last 90 Days I want the podcast to have a different theme each month, as we make a commitment to treating the last 3 months of our year like we usually treat the first 3. This month is The Curiosity Series! And the conversation I wanted to share with you is one I got to have with Kimberly Lucas, my energy healer. That might sound a little out there and hippie, and fair warning, we do get pretty deep in this episode talking about spirituality, healing, speaking with those who have passed on - all kinds of things! The beauty of curiosity is that it isn't threatening, it's just being open to something new. Even if this conversation isn't for you, it could be really helpful to think about why! Becca Stevens is the visionary behind Thistle Farms, a nonprofit social enterprise dedicated to helping women survivors recover and heal from prostitution, trafficking, and addiction. We do this by providing a safe place to live, a meaningful job, and a lifelong sisterhood of support. After experiencing the death of her father and subsequent child abuse when she was 5, Becca Stevens longed to open a sanctuary for survivors offering a loving community. The question is not how do we keep going when the going gets really tough, the question is how do we make ourselves feel better, have more energy, more joy and live our lives to the fullest so that we don't end up burnt out in the first place. As soon as I started recording I realized that this is not just one conversation, this is multiple conversations, so this is the first installment! I hope you enjoy it and that it gives you the tactics you need, that you can take to work, to your families, to your friends so you can show up to life.--Have you heard about the HOTLINE yet? Call (737) 400-HOCO, and press 1 to leave a question for Rach. Press 2 to share your story about the Hollis Company - it can be about your Start Today Journal, attending a RISE conference, coaching, or anything you want! We can't wait to hear from you ;)RISE Women's Conference is about taking full ownership of your life and the woman you want to become. This is not an experience for you to transform into someone else, this is three full days of immersion to remind yourself how special you already are! At RISE we don't believe there's one right way to be a woman, we believe in women being as diverse and original as possible. Each and every one of us has incredible talent and skills — our own unique potential to offer the world — but as little girls, we're taught to conform, be small, fit into someone else's ideal of what a “good girl” is. RISE is about redefining the best version of yourself and creating a roadmap to help you become her. Get your tickets here! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

Today's episode is some of the highlights from a webinar - my first webinar! - that I did last night with my friend Trent Shelton. I truly want to be able to serve my community, regardless of whether they have the means to come to Rise Conferences, or explore coaching or any of the things I put out there. Trent did not hesitate to come and do this webinar with me and we wanted to talk about all things 'change'. How to not just survive during great change but how to thrive, and live the best life through unprecedented times. I hope that you enjoy this episode and that it speaks to you, where you're at, right now.--Have you heard about the HOTLINE yet? Call (737) 400-HOCO, and press 1 to leave a question for Rach.
