Dr. Oz on the New $50 Weight Loss Program, Cracking Down on $2 Billion in Healthcare Fraud, and the "Silent Killer" Warning You Need to Hear Cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death in America, and the recent death of South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham has put an even bigger spotlight on the health crisis. Following the tragic passing of Graham—which doctors believe was caused by an aortic tear—CMS Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz joined Jessica Rosenthal to deliver a vital health warning about aortic dissections and the "silent killer" that millions of Americans are ignoring: high blood pressure. He explained the importance of knowing your numbers and why hypertension can be so harmful to the heart and other organs. Dr. Oz also broke down the newly launched BRIDGE program, which makes GLP-1 weight-loss drugs affordable for seniors, and explained why he says these medications can save lives and taxpayer dollars. Finally, he shared exclusive details from his latest boots-on-the-ground investigation exposing a massive, multi-billion-dollar Medicare fraud ring, and how the Administration is trying to shut down operations that are siphoning government money. Today's Service Summary: "Ignorance Is a Silent Killer" Key Scripture: Hosea 4:6 — "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." Main Message: Spiritual ignorance is dangerous because it leaves believers vulnerable to deception, fear, and poor decisions. The Bible is the primary way God speaks and reveals His will for our lives. Every Christian should continually read, study, meditate on, memorize, and hear God's Word to grow spiritually. God's Word is a lamp that guides us one step at a time, helping us make wise decisions and walk in His will. The pastor shared personal testimonies of how God used Scripture to provide direction, encouragement, and confirmation during important moments in his life and ministry. The message concluded with a challenge to seek God's will daily, trust His guidance, and build a strong foundation in His Word. Highlighted Quotes "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." (Hosea 4:6) "Ignorance is a silent killer spiritually." "Open Bible, God speaking. Closed Bible, God not speaking." "Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." A single alarm may have saved an entire family from a silent killer they could not see, smell, or taste. In this episode of Girls Gone Gritty, Farley and Jennifer share a frightening firsthand experience with carbon monoxide after severe storms caused a power outage and triggered a home generator. When the carbon monoxide alarm sounded early in the morning, the family initially wondered whether it was only a low battery. A fire department inspection revealed dangerously high carbon monoxide levels inside the house. The hosts explain why every alarm must be taken seriously, the common appliances and equipment that can produce carbon monoxide, and the symptoms people often mistake for exhaustion or illness. They also discuss where detectors should be placed, why older units need to be replaced, and how smart or hardwired systems may provide added protection.Listeners are encouraged to check their homes, help family members do the same, and carry a portable carbon monoxide detector when staying in hotels or rental properties. Send me a message There's a mistake costing agents 10's of 1,000's of dollars a year in listings they should have won. It's not just new agents making it. Veteran agents with decades of experience make this mistake constantly, and chances are you're making it right now. I did, for years! But once I noticed I was making it, and fixed it, my income exploded. The mistake is talking too much. This episode breaks down why the agents losing the most listings and buyer clients are the ones who can't stop pitching, and the simple shift that will 5 to 10x your conversion rate once you make it.In this episode:Why talking too much silently kills your credibility in a listing presentationThe real reason new agents over-talk, and why it has nothing to do with confidence the way you'd thinkHow asking great questions and actually listening can 10x your businessThe exact questions to ask sellers that uncover what they really needWhy "prescribing a solution" beats "providing a service" every timeThe challenge: talk 25% of the time you normally would, or lessShut up, ask great questions, and listen. Perfectionism is not always excellence. Sometimes it is procrastination wearing a suit. In this episode of The Level Up Podcast, Paul Alex breaks down why perfectionism kills momentum and why entrepreneurs need to launch before everything feels flawless. Let's be real… If you spend months tweaking your website… Rewriting your sales copy… Changing the logo… And waiting until the offer feels perfect… You are not protecting the business. You are hiding from the market. In this episode, you'll learn: Why perfectionism is often a fear response How waiting for flawless kills your speed to market Why paying customers are the best source of feedback How messy action creates momentum, data, and revenue The truth is simple: The market does not reward the perfect idea sitting in your notebook. It rewards the offer that is live. The product that is tested. The pitch that is made. The service that is sold. And the founder willing to fix the leaks in real time. High-level operators do not build in a vacuum. They launch fast. They collect feedback. They make adjustments. They improve version two. And they keep moving while everyone else is still polishing. Done is better than perfect. Launch the offer. Collect the data. Fix the leaks. And keep leveling up. Your Network is your NETWORTH! Why are young Indians dying of cardiac arrest? Why are fit, healthy people in their 30s and 40s suddenly collapsing at the gym, at weddings, on stage, in their sleep — with no warning? In this episode of xMonks Drive, host Gaurav Arora sits down with Dr. Avinash Verma, Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing at BLK-Max Super Speciality Hospital, New Delhi, for one of the most important conversations about heart health in India.Dr. Avinash Verma is one of India's leading cardiac electrophysiologists with over 15 years of experience, 2,400+ device implantations, and 1,300+ radiofrequency ablations. He is the only doctor in North India trained in laser-assisted lead extraction. In this episode, he explains why Indians get heart disease 10 years earlier than Western populations, what the difference is between a heart attack and a cardiac arrest, and why India's out-of-hospital cardiac arrest survival rate is just 2-3% compared to 50-60% in the world's best out-of-hospital cardiac arrest programs.Dr. Verma shares real patient stories including a 36-year-old woman who passed away from sudden cardiac death after refusing a life-saving device, a cardiology colleague who collapsed outside his own home just 1 kilometre from the hospital and could not be revived, and a 19-year-old whose brother had passed away at 17 from a genetic heart condition — who is now thriving after treatment. He also discusses the cases of Sidharth Shukla, Shefali Jariwala, KK, and Prateek Yadav, and explains what actually happens during these sudden cardiac events.Topics covered in this episode include sudden cardiac death in young Indians, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, inherited heart conditions, genetic screening for heart disease, cardiac arrest vs heart attack, how CPR works and why it must be taught in Indian schools, pacemakers and ICDs, the danger of steroids and unregulated gym supplements, why vaping is illegal in India and what it does to the heart, why sugar may be as harmful as smoking, the link between sleep deprivation and heart disease, chronic stress and the heart's electrical system, sedentary lifestyle and cardiac risk, binge drinking and arrhythmia, the role of COVID and vaccines in myocarditis, the truth about pharma conspiracy theories, Ayurveda and evidence-based medicine, whether smartwatch ECG data is medically reliable, the genetic risk of same-community marriage, organ donation and heart transplant in India, and why selling miracle cures is illegal in India. If you or someone you love has a family history of cardiac arrest, heart disease, or sudden unexplained loss — this episode could save a life. The Steve Weatherford Show | The Secrets To A High Performance Life
In this episode, Steve sits down with Cole Taylor, a Christ-following entrepreneur, coach, former pastor, endurance athlete, and business builder who is passionate about helping leaders grow in faith, fitness, finances, and personal vision. Cole shares his journey from being a former football player who "wasn't a runner" to completing a 100-mile ultramarathon, and how that experience reshaped the way he thinks about identity, discipline, discomfort, leadership, and long-term success. This conversation goes far deeper than performance or business strategy. Cole opens up about trauma, losing both parents, the pressure to earn love, anxiety attacks, success that almost destroyed him, and how God began rewiring his identity from striving for worth to living as a loved child of God. The value of this episode is in its raw honesty: it challenges men, leaders, entrepreneurs, and believers to stop chasing achievement as a substitute for healing and to build a life rooted in identity, endurance, mentorship, and obedience to God.

He explains candlestick construction, the importance of context, and combining patterns with other technical indicators for better signals. Steve also emphasizes strict risk management through protective stop losses. YouTube Video DescriptionHere is your optimized YouTube description based on the provided show notes. Why do service and skilled trades businesses lose bids? While it is easy to blame the price, the real culprit is almost always an invisible credibility gap.In part two of this conversation on the Smells Like Money podcast, host Suzan Chin-Taylor sits down with Daniel Strohli, founder of Profits X. Together, they break down how businesses unknowingly push prospects away with ghost town Google profiles and confusing websites. Tune in to discover actionable strategies to build instant trust, protect your time, and scale your operations using speed, proof, and extreme simplicity.Key Takeaways from This Episode:- The Illusion of Brand Awareness: Many long standing companies think people do not know them. In reality, prospects back out because the business fails to visually show its multi decade track record.- The Google Review Disconnect: Operating for decades with only a handful of online reviews creates an immediate trust gap. You need repeatable, team wide systems to secure consistent social proof.- The Three Second Website Test: Desperate buyers in a crisis want to know what is in it for them. If your website hero section looks like an "About Me" page rather than a clear solution, buyers will move to a competitor.- Money Loves Speed: High end consumers value time over money. Responding to a lead in minutes instead of days can drastically increase your effectiveness.- Pest vs. Welcome Guest Marketing: Shouting louder with bigger ad budgets does not build trust. When you show how much you care about solving a crisis, you become a welcome guest.- Pre Educating Your Clients: Educating prospects on job complexities before they sign protects your team's time and weeds out high maintenance, low profit accounts.Memorable Quotes:"When the value is there, it exceeds the price... If you can articulate who you are, why people should trust you, and the value that you provide, the price becomes an irrelevant topic."— Daniel Strohli"Simplicity, simplify to amplify. Complexity kills scale. In this episode of The Level Up Podcast, Paul Alex breaks down one of the biggest reasons businesses stall—overcomplicating the offer. Because let's be real… If your prospect needs a spreadsheet to understand what you sell… You already lost them. Too many founders create: Fifteen pricing tiers Custom packages Too many services Confused sales scripts Broken fulfillment systems And then wonder why their business feels impossible to manage. In this episode, you'll learn: Why a confused buyer always says no How too many options destroy your conversion rate Why complexity crushes your margins and burns out your team How simplifying your offer creates faster sales, cleaner fulfillment, and stronger profits Because scaling is not about doing more. It is about doing one thing extremely well. One avatar. One problem. One elite solution. One clear delivery system. That is how you build a business your team can actually execute. That is how you create consistency. That is how you scale. The simpler the offer… The stronger the machine. Your Network is your NETWORTH! Typhoid Mary: The Shocking True Story of New York's Silent Killer is one of the most eerie, gripping, and unexpectedly timely episodes of Terrifying & True. In this Best of 2025 revisit, we return to the haunting real case of Mary Mallon, the woman history would remember as Typhoid Mary—an apparently healthy cook linked to deadly typhoid fever outbreaks across New York and Long Island. At the center of this unforgettable historical mystery is a terrifying idea: what if the person spreading disease shows no symptoms at all? In the early 1900s, affluent households were suddenly struck by baffling illness. The homes were clean, the water was safe, and no one could explain why people kept getting sick. As investigators followed the trail, they uncovered one of the most chilling public health cases in American history—one involving invisible infection, forced quarantine, fear, stigma, and a woman who insisted she had done nothing wrong. This episode is one of the most engrossing Terrifying & True episodes of 2025 because it works on so many levels at once: as a historical true story, a medical mystery, a New York nightmare, and a disturbing ethical drama about freedom, blame, and public safety. It's creepy not because of gore or violence, but because the threat is silent, intimate, and impossible to see. That makes this Best of 2025 re-air especially strong for discoverability—and especially worth revisiting.Inside this episode:The 1906 Oyster Bay outbreak that launched the mysteryGeorge Soper's investigation into a hidden source of repeated typhoid casesMary Mallon's confrontation, arrest, and forced testingThe quarantine on North Brother Island and the legal controversy that followedHer return to cooking under aliases and the second outbreak that sealed her fateWhy Typhoid Mary still matters today in conversations about disease, stigma, and public healthIf you're drawn to historical true crime, dark history, medical mysteries, epidemic stories, New York history, and bizarre real cases that feel almost unbelievable, this is one of the strongest examples of what Terrifying & True does best. This Best of 2025 episode is a chance to revisit one of the show's most unsettling and memorable stories—one that still feels unnervingly relevant more than a century later. We're telling that story tonight.
If Gareth Williams was murdered, his killer left a signature of absolute control. This episode focuses on the behavioral profile of the "cleaner." Why leave the body in the bathtub? Why turn the thermostat to maximum? Why choose a red sports bag? We look at the psychological warfare of the "perfect crime"—where the lack of evidence is itself a form of evidence. We discuss whether the scene was staged to smear Williams's reputation and why the "accident" theory feels like a convenient ending to a story that the British intelligence community wanted to disappear.
Crispin Thompson has spent more than twenty-five years shaping how people lead, communicate, and grow. In senior roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, TaskUs, and QSC, he managed large international teams and drove major transformation programs—experiences that revealed how easily careers stall when strong managers are promoted without the confidence or presence to step fully into leadership. That observation became the foundation forThe Leadership Studio, where Crispin helps leaders bridge the gap between how they see themselves and how others experience them. His coaching focuses on practical shifts that carry real weight in the room: learning to project calm under pressure, making decisions when information is incomplete, and moving past the perfectionism that undermines confidence. He often draws on his own missteps or on vivid historical examples, turning abstract ideas into stories and exercises that leave a lasting mark.

Most founders don't fail because of bad ideas… they fail because they never unlearn how to think like employees. In this episode, Randy joins the “How to Founder Podcast” to break down the hidden patterns that sabotage entrepreneurs before they ever scale. Drawing from decades of experience, he explains why “employee thinking” is one of the most dangerous mindsets founders carry into business—and how it quietly limits growth, decision-making, and risk tolerance. The conversation dives into the tension between playing it safe and thinking boldly, why surrounding yourself with “loving critics” is essential, and how founders must shift from protecting security to creating value. Viktor Glinka: When Internal and External Team Members Have Divergent Goals — The Silent Killer of Agile Teams Read the full Show Notes and search through the world's largest audio library on Agile and Scrum directly on the Scrum Master Toolbox Podcast website: http://bit.ly/SMTP_ShowNotes. "The root causes for destructive team patterns often lie outside the team itself." - Viktor Glinka Viktor shares a story from a manufacturing organization where one team stood out — and not in a good way. The team was composed of both internal and external members, and what no one saw coming was that their implicit goals were fundamentally divergent: the external members were focused on maximizing revenue for their own company, while the internal members cared deeply about product quality. The signs were visible to anyone who approached them — they barely talked to each other and preferred to work individually. When Viktor tried to raise the topic of cooperation and trust, he was met with awkward silence. One team member finally told him: "I don't want the team to blow up. In my previous experience, I raised this topic and that was the end of the team." Fear kept the truth underground. Viktor brought his observations to the manager, who acknowledged the lack of a shared goal as the root cause — but couldn't fix it because he wasn't authorized to manage the external people. The takeaway was clear: three key success factors for any team are the right team composition with people who want to work together, a shared goal that unites diverse perspectives, and clear expectations set by their manager. In this segment, we talk about LeSS self-designing team workshops and the importance of team composition in scaled setups. Self-reflection Question: Does your team have a shared goal that everyone — including external members and contractors — genuinely understands and cares about? When was the last time you checked? Featured Book of the Week: The Art of Doing Twice the Work in Half the Time by Jeff Sutherland Viktor recommends The Art of Doing Twice the Work in Half the Time by Jeff Sutherland as the book that sparked his passion for Scrum. As he puts it: "I know the title is very controversial and often criticized, but I could deeply relate to the stories inside the book. They sparked a passion that is still with me." Viktor also recommends a bonus book: Reinventing Organizations by Frederic Laloux, which showed him the real power of self-organization and validated what he had already started experimenting with in his project management career. It pushed him to explore holacracy, sociocracy, intent-based leadership, and coaching. [The Scrum Master Toolbox Podcast Recommends]
