Have you ever felt the need to pursue new interests? Considering entrepreneurship as a career path? And is it your dream to own your own business? Then you'll want to hear this encore of Lan Ho, who spoke at Imagine Talks 2021 symposium. We previously interviewed Lan Ho for our podcast, where she talked about her company. But we didn't really dive into the details of how she pivoted in life, away from a traditional career, a stable career, in pharmacy. Lan Ho is a Vietnamese-American entrepreneur, board-certified pharmacist, and Miss Asian Global 1st Princess 2020. As an accomplished formulator, she is the creator behind a sustainable personal care brand launching later this year and the founder of Fat Miilk; a direct-trade Vietnamese coffee company sourced ethically from Vietnam. You can find Lan in Daily Coffee News, Gazelle Magazine, Trillest, Fodor's, and most recently Bon Appétit. She is a proud daughter of immigrants and currently resides in Chicago, Illinois.

Trill MBA Show - For Black Women Surviving Corporate America
S3:Ep 17 In this episode, writer Vonti McRae shares how her career journey in the film industry prompted her to share her truth. In March of 2019, published by the WomensENews website, Vonti authored an article originally titled I’m Scared Shitless of Success now titled I’m Scared of Success. Vonti’s article described the Trillest emotions held by black women in corporate America….. fear, courage, self-doubt, confidence, not belonging, resiliency and open the world to a real look at the multifaceted world of the black woman corporate warrior. Like Vonti, many of us come from very humble beginnings and we continue to work hard to achieve the highest levels of success. When I read this article, I immediately emailed Vonti and asked her to be a guest on the show.... because I have questions.

"REAL FRIENDS" #DeadAss this may have been the most LITTY-est episode yet! ...Every friend aint your friend! And on this episode, I'm here to let you know what a REAL friend is! I had my boy Neek and the Platinum Girls (a group of beautiful young friends all from the NJ and PA area) on my show to help me talk about FRIENDSHIP! They're the TRILLEST group of friends ever! They were fucking hilarious and so real! Some of the things we discussed was: 1.) Taking shits in public places... 2.) If your friend killed/raped someone, do you support them? 3.) Your friends fucking your siblings/boo behind your back? 4.) Friends owing you money... 5.) The pettiest reason you ever cut a friend off... 6.) Do you support your friends if their business/skills are trash? 7.) Friends sharing clothes, dick, etc... 8.) Do you support your friends cheating... 9.) Cougars and Sugar Daddy's 10.) How I was born on the toilet... And much more! You definitely DONT want to miss my game of "HOW WELL DO YOU KNOW YOUR FRIEND?" That shit was hilarious! That was MUST-SEE TV! My podcast needs to be on TV ‼️ But until then, click the link in my bio and enjoy this EPIC episode! Listen, share, retweet! All that! Thanks!
