Esta foi a primeira vez que o técnico do Brasil, Carlo Ancelotti, enfrentou uma equipe europeia desde que assumiu o comando da seleção brasileira, em maio do ano passado. É bem verdade que o Brasil entrou em campo desfalcado de alguns jogadores que são considerados titulares. Além do resultado do amistoso disputado em Boston, nos Estados Unidos, o desempenho apresentado em campo preocupou a torcida brasileira. Marcio Arruda, da RFI em Paris Apesar de ter perdido a partida por 2 a 1, o treinador italiano da seleção confia no esquema de jogo com quatro atacantes e um meio de campo mais defensivo. “Se tivermos de avaliar a seleção com quatro atacantes, a equipe teve um bom equilíbrio porque o Ederson fez apenas uma defesa difícil. A verdade é que tomamos gols em dois contra-ataques com pouca vigilância defensiva dos jogadores de trás. Na frente, o desempenho está muito bom porque o trabalho defensivo de todos foi satisfatório. E é por isso que eu falo do único chute perigoso que parou no Ederson. A equipe estava bem equilibrada”, afirmou o treinador do Brasil. Além de citar o sistema defensivo brasileiro, Ancelotti falou quantos zagueiros pretende convocar para a Copa. “Os zagueiros estão mais ou menos definidos. Nesta data-Fifa, temos três zagueiros novos: Léo Pereira, Bremer e Ibañez. Vamos avaliar nem tanto a condição física, mas como eles se comportam com o grupo. É claro que todos os três têm qualidades para estar na Copa do Mundo. Para a Copa, vamos convocar quatro ou cinco zagueiros. Também vamos levar em conta que um desses zagueiros pode, em algum jogo, atuar como lateral-direito”, revelou Ancelotti. O técnico do Brasil demonstrou satisfação com o futebol que os atacantes Vini Jr. e Raphinha têm apresentado. “Raphinha jogou bem, mas depois teve um problema no fim do primeiro tempo e tivemos de tirá-lo da partida. O Raphinha teve oportunidades e se movimentou bem sem a bola. O Vini é perigoso; ele pode não ter marcado, mas um atacante que sempre pode fazer gol. O trabalho feito pelos dois está muito bom”, analisou o treinador italiano. No entanto, quem tem feito um ótimo trabalho é a França. Antes do amistoso, o técnico Didier Deschamps elogiou a seleção brasileira. Mas quando o árbitro apitou o início da partida, a França mostrou que tem muita determinação e obediência tática, além de diversos jogadores de útima qualidade. A vitória da atual vice-campeã mundial sobre o Brasil deixou a torcida e a imprensa francesas empolgadas. As opções ofensivas da França deixam os franceses sonhando com o tricampeonato em Copas. Ekitiké, o carrasco francês da vez Autor do segundo gol francês no amistoso, o atacante Hugo Ekitiké revelou ter se inspirado no camisa 10 e companheiro de seleção Kylian Mbappé. “Construímos um bom contra-ataque onde o Olise se deu bem em cima do defensor. Ele teve qualidade para passar a bola para mim. Na hora não temos muito tempo para pensar, mas lembrei do primeiro gol do jogo, quando o Mbappé deu uma cavadinha. Então, eu tentei fazer o mesmo e funcionou", revelou. A seleção volta a campo na terça-feira, dia 31 de março, desta vez na Flórida, para encarar a Croácia. A última vez que as duas equipes se enfrentaram, o resultado teve um gosto amargo para o Brasil. Na Copa de 2022, a seleção foi eliminada nos pênaltis para os croatas. Porém, o histórico é favorável à equipe pentacampeã mundial. Foram cinco jogos até momento, sendo que o Brasil conquistou três vitórias e colecionou dois empates. Autor do gol em cima dos croatas na última Copa, Neymar não foi convocado por Ancelotti. Questionado sobre a ausência do camisa 10 do Santos, o treinador não falou muito sobre o assunto e foi direto ao ponto. “Agora temos de falar a respeito dos jogadores que estão aqui e que deram tudo em campo. Eles trabalham muito e estou bem satisfeito. Agora a gente vai se preparar para o próximo jogo contra a Croácia”, disse o técnico sem mencionar qualquer jogador brasileiro. Carlo Ancelotti acredita que o Brasil não é inferior a nenhuma seleção. “Podemos competir contra as melhores equipes do mundo. E disso eu não tenho dúvida. Week 16 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now in the books as they beat the Washington Commanders down in Landover, MD by a score of 29-18. They are now NFC East Division Champions for the second year in a row. The last team to repeat division titles in the NFC East was the Eagles back in 2003 and 2004. Once again, this was an up and down game for the offense. We saw great play on the field. We saw bad play on the field. The defense continues to be the bright spot as a championship-looking defense. Special teams received a failing grade from us this week as they were horrendous for just about the entire time they were on the field. This team is now 10-5 on the season and waiting to see what seed they'll be in the playoffs.As always, we gave our top themes, thoughts and opinions from the game on offense, defense, and special teams. Week 16 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2024-2025 season is now in the books as they lose their third game of the season to the Washington Commanders down in Landover, MD by a score of 36-33. The Eagles are now 12-3 on the season. While they are still first in the NFC East division, they have not yet clinched it.The biggest theme coming out from this game was Jalen Hurts exiting in the first quarter with a concussion. Backup quarterback Kenny Pickett came into the game and produced mixed results. Not great, not terrible. Just meh. Without Hurts being in the game, it showed us how valuable he also is to the rushing attack and what Saquon Barkley has been able to do game after game. Although Saquon Barkley ran for 150 yards in this game, and now has 1,838 yards on the season, he still had a tough time rushing the ball without the presence of Hurts. Two key drops from Barkley and WR DeVonta Smith were critical at the end of the game as well.Vic Fangio's defense had a rough afternoon as the injury bug was hitting his unit. Plus, C.J. Gardner-Johnson was ejected in the second half after receiving his second unsportsmanlike penalty. The linebacker play was phenomenal per usual, but the defense overall was gassed by the fourth quarter, as Jayden Daniels threw five touchdowns in this game overall.
