We're back with another amazing guest on this weeks episode of JLY! Chris Eves is a retired professional rugby player from New Zealand, proudly of Māori/Samoan decent. So this episode is little bit of a different one - and it's really to show you how life can unfold for you in the most amazing ways when you choose to let go, take chances, do things that scare you and surrender to the universe.Chris takes us through his entire journey to becoming a professional rugby player to retiring and finding fulfillment in what he's doing now - which is not something he ever expected! He also shares some tidbits about Māori and Samoan culture which completely warmed by heart. Quick trigger warning - we do talk about suicide. This story is really about learning to surrender, living in flow, and healing from trauma. There are so many unexpected twists and turns in life that can seem hard in the moment, but when you look back down the line you can see how they all connect and got you to where you are now. Chris' story is an amazing example of that and I cannot wait for you all to hear it!Chris' Instagram: @christianoevezInsta@iamalexischristine@thejustlikeyoushowTiktok@iam.alexischristine Websitewww.iamalexischristine.com --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/starseedschoolpod/message
