Set in the 1970s in swampland of northeast Florida, a hunting party sets out in search of fame, fortune, and giants. They find their giant, but the swampland is not their natural habitat, and what happens next is definitely not what the hunters were in search of. Michael G. O'Connell has always been a storyteller but is relatively new to writing. A retired creative director and illustrator, he now spends much of his time writing and reading. His writing goals for 2021 were to get published and finish the first draft of his novel. Having succeeded on both accounts, this year he is focusing much of his time on editing and writing short stories and poetry, as well as illustrating his wife's long-neglected children's book. You can read "Tall Tales 'N Tremblin' " at https://www.whiteenso.com/ghost-stories-2022Follow us on twitter at: Japanese Ghost Stories @ghostJapanese Instagram: WhiteEnsoJapanFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/kaidankai100/Help me pay the contributors for their work. If you remember Mark Miller's novella, Hellraiser The Toll. It catches up with Kirsty and leads up to The Scarlet Gospels. This month it will be released as an audio book, but the best news is the cast. The book will be Narrated by film maker Tom Holland (writer of Fright Night and Child's Play), starring Mali Elfman as Kirsty, Pete Atkins (writer of Hellraiser II and III, and many novels and short stories) as Dr. Lancing. Other cast include Kasey Lansdale, Robert Parigi, Justin Vondersch and Christian Francis. The audio book will be coming out sometime in October, and exclusively on Audible. We'll let you know as soon as we have an exact date, and we're looking forward to this. If you remember Paul Kane's audio adaptation of The Hellbound Heart it was amazing, thanks to a full cast audio production.
