In this episode "The Publisher" Mr. Kelly Cole sits down with Kenisha Johnson to discuss her new best selling book Unscripted Dreams: Beyond the Blueprint “Sometimes, life doesn't just test your strength—it demands that you redefine it." In this compelling journey through moments of survival, betrayal, and profound growth, Liberty shares her story of transformation. From lessons learned at her great-grandmother's side to navigating the harsh realities of family, loss, and identity, she explores what it means to forge a path in the face of adversity. Her story is not just about surviving but about finding meaning in every struggle and making the choice to heal, grow, and create something meaningful from life's chaos. Through raw and reflective storytelling, Liberty reveals how we all carry a unique strength shaped by our experiences. Whether narrowly escaping a home invasion, competing against odds in the Olympic trials, or building a supportive community, her journey reminds us that purpose is not found in a destination—it is discovered along the way. This book invites readers to see life differently, honor their resilience, and trust in the power of each choice. Liberty's story is a testament to the power of resilience and the courage to rise above. More than just a story, it's an invitation to live intentionally, uncover your strength, rewrite your narrative, and embrace the journey ahead. Donald Trump. Christ is King. Candace Owens. Antisemitism. Buckle up! On this episode, we're examining all sorts of current events to prove that commingling politics and faith compromises the Church's witness. First, Keith and Patrick discuss the Trump-endorsed “God Bless the USA” Bible and how this mashup conflates our citizenship in heaven with our American citizenship. Then they bring on Daniel Darling, a former spokesman for NRB (National Religious Broadcasters), to discuss the organization's recent guest speaker, Donald Trump. Was this move appropriate? Should Christian organizations invite politicians to speak? Are American Christians experiencing religious persecution as Trump laid out in his speech? Finally, Keith and Patrick discuss the recent Christ is King movement and whether its intent is antisemitic. They detail Candace Owens's involvement and recent firing from The Daily Wire and whether or not there's a historic, antisemitic strand in Christianity. How can Christians be politically involved but not allow politics to corrupt their faith and the witness of the Church? Listen now! Have you benefitted personally from Truth Over Tribe or seen it have a positive effect on someone you know? have you used the podcast, book, or blog as a catalyst for conversation on polarizing topics? We want to hear about it! Share your story at choosetruthovertribe.com/story. Ok, truth time... Did you like this episode? Tell us by leaving a rating or review!

Tensions between the Maori King Movement and the Government are expected to be patched up quickly. A function at the High Commission in London for the King's Coronation didn't follow tikanga, prompting a Kingitanga spokesman to interject. High Commissioner Phil Goff started the ceremony without a karakia, and didn't acknowledge the prior coronations of Maori Kings and Queens. Professor of Indigenous Studies Rawiri Taonui says that Goff has already apologised, and we need to respect him for that. He says what we probably need in the British High Commission in the future is someone who is a bit more aware. LISTEN ABOVESee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Chris Broussard, Fox Sports Analyst by profession and a Disciple of Christ by creation, shares his walk with Christ and evokes a powerful word for us all. Chris’ first glimpse of the personal relationship you can have with Christ started when he heard this young woman, now his wife, in college praying like Jesus was right there with her. Chris knew being a follower of Christ was the right thing to do, but he did not want to accept the life. College was fun, and the American dream was right by his side. How can we fill this void for our life, besides Christianity? We have to repent for our sins, for what we’ve done, we have to accept that we’ve been living in sin. What race are you running and who do you want to run the race with? You do not have to get stuck in with living in the instant gratification, the sex, smoking, drinking, and partying scene. It comes with baggage down the road! You can skip that, what culture is telling you, it’s always worth it. BE BOLD. Chris is the president of the KING Movement, an organization that wants to strengthen men in their daily walks with Christ. This April, the KING Movement is holding their national summit in Memphis, TN ( www.kingmovement.com). Tune in to listen to this message and leave a review if you enjoy what you are hearing!
