She gained a love for performance at an early age through various plays, oratorical competitions, and community events. She went on to attend Clark Atlanta University where she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre Arts. During her matriculation, Kalea hosted many live shows and events on campus and throughout the city of Atlanta, honing in on her quick wit and signature style. In 2013 Kalea decided to make the move from Atlanta to Los Angeles to be closer to her dreams. Even though Kalea's heart was in acting, she knew that she had a gift in standup comedy. Kalea hit the standup scene hard performing in legendary clubs such as The Comedy Union, and The Comedy Store. In 2017 Kalea booked her first television role as a costar on TNT's Animal Kingdom. Since then she has booked a recurring role on CW's Crazy Ex Girlfriend (season 4), and various guest/costar spots on FX, CBS, TruTV and TNT. But has the special caused a riff between Trouble and Diaz? How did Diaz do? How does it look and sound? Did they pay to play copyrighted music in this thing? ...

His self-esteem is not at a peak, and he thinks the idea of doing a comedy special in this climate is crazy, as well as his complete inadequacy when it comes to quality and quantity of comedic talent. Rob, one of the producers of Laugh After Dark, joins the chat because apparently someone has tipped him off about the discussion. Patrick runs a bunch of insane requirements and ideas by Rob, who seems more amused by some than others.
