RUNDOWN Lets start with some trivia about college basketball. Also, did you hear the one about Ricky Henderson's reluctance to sign autographs? Mitch and Hotshot dissect the Seahawks' heartbreaking 27-24 loss to the Vikings, a game defined by defensive miscommunication that allowed Justin Jefferson an easy game-winning touchdown. Mitch reconnects with Steve Phillips, former Mets GM and MLB analyst, for a lively discussion on baseball and more. They reminisce about Ricky Henderson, highlighting his quirks, legendary career, and unique personality, following news of his passing. Phillips also delves into Juan Soto's record-breaking contract with the Mets, examining its implications for baseball and New York's heated team rivalry. More discussion on the Seattle Seahawks' narrow 27-24 loss to the Minnesota Vikings with Seahawks No-Table. Jacson Bevens attributes the loss to critical penalties in high-leverage moments, emphasizing their impact over assigning blame solely to the offense or defense. Brady Henderson highlights unforced errors, including an offside penalty by Trey Brown and a costly face mask penalty, as key contributors to the defeat. What a lackluster opening weekend of the college football playoffs. Blowouts in all four games!
