The latest interview is with Muffet McGraw, a Hall of Famer and one of the winningest coaches in college basketball history.  Mrs. McGraw coached women's basketball for 38 seasons, with 33 of them at the University of Notre Dame.  She is a two-time national champion head coach that amassed 936 career victories with a win percentage of 76 percent.  Her teams made nine trips to the Final Four and she collected consensus National Coach of the Year honors three times throughout her legendary career. McGraw's Irish squads accumulated 14 regular-season conference titles, including eight straight from 2012-19, 11 conference tournament championships (including six in her final eight years at Notre Dame) and made seven trips to the NCAA Division I Women's National Championship game. Additionally, McGraw earned seven conference Coach of the Year honors across five leagues. McGraw coached 22 All-Americans and 20 future WNBA players, including No. 1 overall picks Jewell Loyd and Jackie Young. McGraw was enshrined in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2017, following her induction in both the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame (2011) and the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame (2014). She is also a member of St. Joseph's University Women's Basketball and the Philadelphia Big Five Halls of Fame. Kayla is a 2010 graduate of Villa Maria Academy. She is currently a professional basketball player in the WNBA for the Minnesota Lynx and plays overseas in the Turkish Super League. After Villa, Kayla went on to the University of Notre Dame where she played in three National Championships for the Irish under legendary coach Muffet McGraw. During her time at Notre Dame Kayla was ACC Player of the Year, Sports-Illustrated All-American, Wooden Award All-American, AP All-American, among many other accolades. She was drafted #3 overall by the San Antonio Stars in the 2014 WNBA Draft and has been named to WNBA All-Star teams in 2015, 2018, and 2019. Kayla has been playing overseas through her career and currently plays professionally in the Turkish Super League where she is a three-time Champion there in 2017, 2021, and 2022.

One of the best point guards to ever don an Irish uniform, Niele Ivey has found success and left her stamp at every level of basketball. A high school state champion, an NCAA champion, the 19th pick in the WNBA Draft, and the first black female head coach in Notre Dame history are just a handful of her accomplishments. Niele talks about family, faith, and the sport that has served as a foundation for so much of her life. Haney was announced this week as the new girls basketball head coach at Central Catholic High School, where she graduated from in 1998. Haney and her Irish basketball team reached the state semifinals in '98, and she was a three-sport star with the Irish in basketball, track, and volleyball. She was an All-American in track, and she reached a state semifinal in volleyball. She played basketball at Notre Dame, where in 2001 she won a national championship under the direction of coach Muffet McGraw. Haney played one season in the WNBA in Detroit and played overseas in Sweden. She then returned to the United States, where she took on numerous coaching and administrative roles.
