Artis Gilmore is a Basketball Hall of Famer, ABA and NBA legend, and one of the most dominant centers in professional basketball history. Growing up in rural Florida during the 1950s, Artis overcame significant adversity before building a remarkable career that spanned decades. In this episode, Travis reflects on his conversation with Artis and shares powerful lessons about resilience, leadership, service, and the mindset required to achieve lasting success. On this episode we talk about: How early hardship can become the foundation for future success Why it's never too late to start pursuing a new goal or opportunity The life lessons sports teach beyond competition and athletic achievement The importance of serving others and creating impact through success Why persistence and refusing to quit are essential ingredients for long-term achievement Top 3 Takeaways Hardship builds strength. The challenges you face early in life often develop the resilience, discipline, and perspective needed for future success. Your timeline doesn't determine your potential. Whether in sports, business, or life, a late start doesn't prevent extraordinary outcomes if you're willing to put in the work. Success is most meaningful when it's used to help others. True fulfillment comes from contributing to your community and creating opportunities for those around you. Notable Quotes "Hardship early builds the foundation that success later stands on." "The timeline does not determine the destination." "The only thing that actually makes you a failure is taking yourself out of the game." Lieberman also shares why using basketball as a platform for health advocacy can inspire action both on and off the court.

Tobin and Leroy kick off today's show by diving right into the absolute beatdown — both literal and figurative — that the Panthers handed the Oilers last night! The guys break down all the standout plays, the intensity on the ice, and the full-on brawl that erupted between the teams. Later, Basketball Hall of Famer and Head Coach of Miami 305 drops by the studio to chat about the upcoming season, reflect on his iconic Showtime days, and deliver nonstop laughs. From behind-the-scenes stories to hoops wisdom, this one's a can't-miss conversation!
Tobin and Leroy kick off the show breaking down the Panthers' brutal beatdown of the Oilers, from standout plays to the fiery brawl that took over the ice. They're joined by Basketball Hall of Famer and Miami 305 Head Coach, who shares laughs and stories from his legendary Showtime days and previews his upcoming season. Hour Tua heats up with all things Dolphins — camp updates, Jalen Ramsey trade rumors, and DJ Khaled hyping the Panthers (much to Tobin's chagrin). The crew reminisces about Tobin's chaotic day of “entertainment” at a Marlins game before wrapping with the classic “Damage is Done” segment, mixing Oilers fallout, Leroy's blue goatee, and Brittney sneaking in some F1 talk. In Hour 3, they dive deeper into the Panthers' domination, hear Mike McDaniel's blunt take on Jalen Ramsey, and get insights from Sergei Bobrovsky on the physicality and brawl. The hour wraps with a Mixed Bag of hot takes, including Gary Bettman's unexpected rant about TNT commentators and Matthew Tkachuk's sharp comments on the Oilers. The show closes with Tobin and Leroy firing shots — Leroy goes off on Tua amid talk of a Dolphins “culture change,” and Tobin blasts Giannis Antetokounmpo for his Finals talk, telling him to “just stay in Milwaukee already.” It's a packed show full of hard-hitting analysis, laughs, and unfiltered sports drama.
