Horseman Known Associate Matt Priso joins us this week. Matt has appeared on Into the Necrosphere and Sol Nox and is the creative force behind Sik, Conspiracy X, Spells ov Torment and his newest project Intrafear. Addionally, he is an incredible visual artist and painter. We get deep into the creative process and the conversation veered off into some very cool places. I've always felt that it was inevitable that we would talk, so it was a great pleasure to sit down and get after it with Matt. Intro: “All the Dark Things” – Mike Hill Outro: “Torture” – Conspiracy X

This week we have an epic. Jackie Smit of Into the Necrosphere joins us for a deep discussion that needed to happen in response to some of the Black Metal Old Guard, specifically Ihsahn, stating that the genre is dead. For the record, I am a massive Ihsahn fan, Emperor are one of the bands that have influenced my creative output on a profound level. Black Metal is probably the most progressive form of extreme music. Jackie and I give examples of how the genre has continued to raise the bar with each year, and give examples of some of the luminary bands that continue to elevate Black Metal and extreme music in general. Intro: “All of the Dark Things” – Mike Hill Outro: “The Far Bank at the River Styx” – Panzerfaust
On this podcast episode, I talk top 6 80s horror with my good friend and fellow horseman of the podcast apocalypse Jackie Smit. Jackie hosts the best metal podcast around "Into The Necrosphere". Primarily due to my friendship with Jackie Smit and his excellent podcast, Into the Necrosphere, I have learned about a whole host of excellent bands that somehow exist below the radar of most people. This week's guest, Evan Hopper is one such musician and his band Quell is excellent. Totally independent and dedicated, Quell is the essence of modern black metal. Evan and I went deep on this episode; it was epic so strap in and enjoy. Also, be sure to check out Quell's new record “The Kvlt is Dead” Intro: “All roads Lead to Ruin” – composed and recorded by Mike Hill Outro: “No Light Shines Here” - Quell
Episode 87 is a chat with Jackie from Into the Necrosphere podcast, one of the many up and coming metal podcasts out there and definitely a kindred spirit when it comes to issues of freedom of speech, liberty, freedom and sceptical thinking, this one ain't got much music involved, although does contain a story about Avenged Sevenfold, but deals with where we are right now politically, culturally and economically....rate, review and go and support, follow and listen to his podcast also!Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/agitators-anonymous-the-alan-averill-podcast.
