There are things I see, and there are things I do not. But nothing is hidden from You. You go before me. Where there are unseen pressures, You are already present. Pharaoh said, "I know not the Lord, neither will I let Israel go." He was about to receive a masterclass in who Jehovah really is. But the real question isn't whether Pharaoh would let go—it's whether we are willing to let go of our own "Egypt." Summary: In this episode, we dive into the heart of the Exodus story (chapters 7–13). We move beyond the cinematic spectacles to find the deep, personal doctrine of repentance and redemption hidden within the plagues and the Passover. The War of the Gods: We analyze how each of the ten plagues was a specific "judgment against all the gods of Egypt," proving that Jehovah stands supreme over the Nile, the sun, and even life itself. The Hardening of the Heart: We clarify the JST corrections to the text—God didn't take away Pharaoh's agency; Pharaoh hardened his own heart, choosing pride over the "finger of God." Pharaoh's "Negotiations": We look at the four ways Pharaoh tried to compromise with Moses—and why "partial obedience" is just another form of bondage. The Passover Lamb: We explore the meticulous requirements of the Passover and how every element—the unblemished lamb, the bitter herbs, and the blood on the doorposts—points directly to the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Leaving Egypt for Good: We discuss the importance of not "leaving a forwarding address" for our sins. True deliverance requires us to go into the wilderness with no intention of looking back. Call-to-Action: Are there "shallow promises" you've made to the Lord that you keep falling back on when the pressure is off? How can the "Blood of the Lamb" help you fully exit your Egypt this week? Let's talk about it in the comments. To stay "Unshaken" as we cross the Red Sea next week, please like, subscribe, and share this video! Today, we're talking about the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse—War, Famine, Pestilence, and Death. You know, the original disaster influencers. We're digging into where these guys came from, what they were supposed to warn us about, and why, thousands of years later, they're still wildly relevant in our modern hellscape of plagues, tyranny, war, and that low-grade sense of doom you feel every time you open your phone.

If you would like additional information, books, or if you would like to make a love offering; please visit us at https://www.walkinginpower.orgBern Zumpano continues his study of the Book of Revelation with Chapter 6, marking the beginning of the "things that are to come" and detailing the start of the Great Tribulation (Daniel's 70th week), a time primarily focused on God reconciling with Israel. He reiterates his belief in two raptures: a pre-tribulation/early-tribulation rapture for the zealous evangelical (Philadelphia) Church, and a pre-wrath rapture for those later converted. The lukewarm or backslidden (Laodicean) believers, he suggests, may go through the Tribulation due to their refusal to be zealous, but Christ still offers them a chance to "get hot" (Revelation 3). Chapter 6 shifts the focus from heaven to the judgments upon the earth, which are directed at unbelievers and those remaining. The opening of the first four of the Seven Seal Judgments unleashes the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse upon the earth. The First Seal releases the Antichrist on a white horse, conquering peacefully through deception and a strong delusion (Romans 1), establishing a global order in a world that rejected God. The Second Seal brings War (red horse), followed by the Third Seal ushering in Famine (black horse and scales), and the Fourth Seal introducing widespread Death and Pestilence (ashen horse), claiming authority over a fourth of the earth. The Fifth Seal reveals the souls of martyred believers (likely Jewish or newly converted) under the altar, pleading for vengeance, while the Sixth Seal brings catastrophic cosmic disturbances (earthquake, black sun, bleeding moon), and the falling of stars (interpreted as demonic powers), signifying the commencement of God's eviction of Satan and the beginning of the "wrath of the Lamb." Mankind's response to these clear manifestations of divine power is not repentance, but an "awful prayer" to the mountains and rocks to hide them from God's wrath, demonstrating the extreme hardness of their hearts.
Hela kulturer gick under. There's a field of blue weber agave in Jalisco that SACRED has purchased. The plan is … well, a secret. But there's a possible glitch in the secret plan and that glitch is the picudo, a weevil famous for eating agave. Are we going to let a famous weevil interrupt our plan? No — we're going to bug out!Agave Road Trip is a critically acclaimed, award-winning podcast that helps gringx bartenders better understand agave, agave spirits, and rural Mexico. This episode is hosted by Lou Bank and Greg Rutkowski of Finca 18 with wisdom from Isaac Arellanes Santos, an agricultural consultant, and interstitial fun from Agave Road Trip Poet Laureate and Official Troubadour Larry Beckett!Episode NotesShout outs this episode to the the 818 Tequila-funded water-security project in Chacala, Jalisco, Emilio Sengar, Eduardo Aguilar from Telesecundaria El Manantial, and Sergio Garnier of Mezcal Ultramundo! The cover to this episode is everything to me. The art is by Gilbert Hernandez — Beto, of Los Bros Hernandez, creators of the comics series Love and Rockets. When I was a 15- or 16-year-old kid, this comic book showed me that comics could tell any story. The magical realism that Beto and his brothers Jaime and Mario depicted in Mexico and Southern California stuck with me. I think a lot of the joy I feel when I'm traveling in rural Mexico now is the discovery of images that they planted in my teenage brain. I was a comics geek growing up — mainly Marvel with a bit of DC on the side. Then some of the alternative superhero stuff when that started popping in the 1980s. But Los Bros Hernandez showed me a whole different world. And that art was colored by my friend and former Marvel Comics colleague Gregory Wright! When I moved as a 21-year-old kid to New York to take the job with Marvel, Greg was one of the first to welcome me, introducing me to the fabled pastrami-on-rye at the dearly departed Carnegie Deli! In this sermon, Pastor Chris Romig explores the meaning of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse from Revelation 6, highlighting that these prophetic figures are not merely legends but real agents of God's judgment to come. Each horseman represents a different aspect of the turmoil that will mark the end times: the white horse symbolizes the rise of the Antichrist with deceptive promises of peace; the red horse stands for widespread violence and conflict; the black horse brings economic hardship and scarcity; and the pale (or green) horse, ridden by Death and Hades, signals mass destruction through war, famine, disease, and wild beasts. Romig emphasizes that all of these judgments occur fully under God's authority, with Jesus—the Lamb of God—breaking each seal. He draws connections to Old Testament prophecies that foretold similar judgments as consequences for turning away from God. Although these descriptions are sobering, Romig reassures believers that God's justice is inseparable from His love, and that the destruction of evil is necessary for true restoration. The message concludes with hope: those who trust in Christ are promised ultimate safety and abundant life, and are urged to share this hope with others, even as the world faces troubling times.

Today on Too Opinionated we sit down with author David Banks to talk about his first book, The Meeting of the Five: Convergence. In the days when prophecy becomes reality, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse walk among us wearing human faces. Bound by destiny and divine purpose, these harbingers of the end times find themselves drawn together on an inexorable journey toward their final meeting. As War's conflicts rage within, Death grapples with the weight of his eternal duty, Pestilence seeks understanding in suffering, and Famine witnesses humanity's deepest hungers. But even in these darkest of days, hope persists. As the Antichrist rises and the Horsemen converge, unexpected encounters with the Son of Man himself reveal that even in apocalyptic times, redemption casts light into the deepest shadows. This haunting tale weaves together biblical prophecy with deeply human struggles, asking what it means to be both divine messenger and mortal vessel when the fate of all hangs in the balance. In this masterful exploration of faith, destiny, and the power of hope in the face of devastation, the end of all things becomes a beginning no one could have foreseen. Welcome to Issue 268 of Critical Encounters, a podcast about Marvel Champions, a Living Card Game by Fantasy Flight Games. Here we take a good look at that most critical piece of the game, the Encounter Sets. We'll discuss those poorly understood characters, unfairly labeled Villains, and their various plans to shape humanity and benefit the planet, as well as those so-called heroes intent on thwarting them. In this villain issue we look at the Four Horsemen Part II, the second scenario of the AoO box. He was the third to awake of the four Gods of Chaos, fully coming into existence during Terra's Middle Ages, with plagues sweeping across continents in the wake of his birth. His titles include the Plague Father, Fly Lord, Great Corruptor, Plague Lord, Master of Pestilence, Lord of Decay (the Dark Tongue translation of his name is, Nurgh-leth). The desperate, ostracized and dying come to Nurgle to find alleviation from their pain. To these potential devotees, Nurgle provides not redemption from their ailments, but rather comfort within their suffering. Those blessed by Nurgle are granted relief from physical pain as well as a bizarre satisfaction in their depressive state. It is a twisting of a being's perceived reality, turning delusion and denial into truth and acceptance, just as self-respect and vanity turn into monstrous self-satisfaction.Nurgle and his daemons, in contrast to their putrid appearance, are jovial and friendly in demeanor. His daemon servants and mortal followers usually demonstrate a disturbing joviality and joy at the pestilence that he inflicts, seeing the plagues as gifts and the cries of their victims as gratitude rather than agony. This is demonstrated on the Daemon World of Bubonicus, where an endless chain of crazed revelers circles the planet's equator in a never-ending dance.Support the show
