See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Even after 15 years and a majority sale – reportedly valued at over $650 million – of the company he founded, Bill Creelman remains convinced that Spindrift is just at the beginning of a “real” revolution. Since launching Spindrift in 2010, Bill has built the brand into a powerhouse, generating nearly $300 million in annual retail sales, according to Nielsen IQ. Spindrift is known for its sparkling water made with real fruit juice and purees, with no added sugars or added flavors. The brand has expanded its portfolio to include hard seltzers and, more recently, a mid-calorie soda line that harkens back to Spindrift's original mission of delivering authentic, high-quality beverages. Earlier this year, private equity firm Gryphon Investors acquired a majority stake in Spindrift. As part of this transition, veteran CPG executive Dave Burwick stepped in as CEO, while Bill now serves as chairman of the board. Together, Bill and Dave are leading Spindrift into its next chapter, one focused on real ingredients and sustainable growth. For Bill, the future is full of endless possibilities. As he shared in our conversation, “The most surprising part is realizing just how much further we can go.” In this episode, Bill and Dave dive into the importance of staying true to a vision, executing it with patience, and creating a brand that resonates with today's conscious consumers. They explore how ambition, when guided by intentionality, leads to real, sustainable growth. Bill and Dave also discuss why Spindrift's innovation strategy is grounded in the belief that the world is ready for beverages that prioritize quality, transparency, and authenticity. Show notes: 0:25: Interview: Bill Creelman, Founder & Dave Burwick, CEO, Spindrift – Bill and Dave reflect on Spindrift's journey since its inception in 2010, starting with refrigerated sodas in iconic longneck glass bottles, and how the brand is now revisiting its origins with a new line of canned sodas. They discuss Spindrift's premium positioning and its ability to maintain a higher price point in an increasingly crowded market, emphasizing why consumers are willing to pay more for a product that delivers authenticity and exceptional quality. The founders attribute the brand's ability to uphold its integrity and solidify its market position to its unwavering commitment to real ingredients and flavor innovation. They also explore the concept of "refreshment" in the beverage space, discussing untapped potential within Spindrift's core business and the vital role of strategic partnerships, like Gryphon, in fueling the brand's sustained growth. Reflecting on the company's progress, Bill acknowledges the challenges they've faced, emphasizing the importance of staying true to their vision during difficult times and remaining focused on long-term success. Interview with David Cates, President & CEO of Denison MinesOur previous interview: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/posts/denison-mines-tsxvdml-bullish-fundamentals-set-stage-for-denison-to-thrive-4876Recording date: 6th March 2025Denison Mines (TSX: DML, NYSE American: DNN) is making significant progress on its Wheeler River Project, positioning the Phoenix deposit to become Canada's first in-situ recovery uranium mine with production targeted for the first half of 2028.The company has completed substantial technical de-risking work and is now in the final regulatory stages. Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission hearings are scheduled for October and December 2025, with potential approval expected in early 2026, which would allow construction to begin shortly thereafter.According to CEO David Cates, the Phoenix deposit is projected to produce 7-9 million pounds of uranium annually during its first five years of operation, decreasing to 3-5 million pounds in the latter five years of its 10-year mine life. Beyond Phoenix, Denison's Gryphon deposit at Wheeler River could extend the combined mine life to approximately 15 years, maintaining an average annual production of 7-9 million pounds.Denison distinguishes itself from competitors through its debt-free status and strong balance sheet. Cates indicated the financing strategy would focus on "credit-related instruments" rather than equity raises, aiming for "minimal to no equity dilution" for shareholders. The CEO expressed skepticism about many announced uranium projects in the sector, emphasizing the challenges in assembling qualified teams and securing necessary permits. Having worked on Phoenix since 2019, Cates believes many competitor timelines are unrealistic: "I'm not sure how you go from being a staff of two people or three people in a company to all of a sudden having the team that can engineer and build and then execute one of these projects and do it in the next two years."While the uranium spot price has experienced recent volatility, Cates emphasized that most uranium volumes are traded in the long-term market, which has maintained strength. He views the current market conditions as creating potential buying opportunities, with equity valuations showing a "massive disconnect" from the fundamental supply-demand imbalance.Beyond Phoenix, Denison is advancing other projects, including a partnership with Orano on the Midwest project and work with Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power on the Waterbury Lake THT deposit. The company aims to position itself as a "high-margin intermediate producer" in the 5-10 million pound annual production range, focusing on quality projects in the Athabasca Basin rather than pursuing market share through lower-margin assets.View Denison Mines' company profile: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/companies/denison-mines-corpSign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com

Gryphon Digital Mining CEO Steve Gutterman joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss his plans for the company's future and shared recent achievements during an interview with Proactive. Gutterman, who joined Gryphon a month ago, brings extensive experience from fast-growing industries like cannabis and financial services, positioning him to drive growth in the dynamic fields of Bitcoin mining and AI computing. Under Gutterman's leadership, Gryphon is taking a two-pronged approach. First, the company is strengthening its core Bitcoin mining operations in upstate New York, with a focus on efficient, sustainable power. Second, Gryphon aims to leverage its infrastructure for high-performance computing (HPC) applications, expanding into AI compute tasks. "Instead of asking the computer to mine for Bitcoin, we want it to perform AI functions," Gutterman explained, emphasizing the crossover in power needs and infrastructure between the two areas. To bolster this growth strategy, Gryphon recently restructured its debt arrangement with Anchorage, a move that positions Anchorage as Gryphon's largest shareholder and aligns capital more effectively for future expansion. According to Gutterman, these foundational moves lay the groundwork for Gryphon to lead sustainably in both the Bitcoin and AI computing sectors. #proactiveinvestors #gryphondigitalmininginc #nasdaq #gryp #BitcoinMining #AICompute #SteveGutterman #CryptoMining #ProactiveInvestors #HPC #DigitalMining #SustainableEnergy #AIandCrypto #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews

Keith Bodnarchuk, President and CEO of Cosa Resources Corp. (TSX-V: COSA) (OTCQB: COSAF), joins me to review the 3 key targets for this summer work program at this Canadian uranium exploration company operating in the Athabasca Basin region of northern Saskatchewan. The portfolio comprises roughly 209,000 ha across multiple projects in, all of which are underexplored, and the majority reside within or adjacent to established uranium corridors. We start of discussing the 2024 drilling will kick off in August at their Ursa Project, following up on Drill hole UR24 -03 from the winter drill program, that intersected structure, alteration, and minor sulphide mineralization several hundred meters above the unconformity. The Ursa Project captures over 60-kilometres of strike length of the Cable Bay Shear Zone, a regional structural corridor with known mineralization and limited historical drilling. It potentially represents the last remaining eastern Athabasca corridor to not yet yield a major discovery. Modern geophysics completed by Cosa in 2023 identified multiple high-priority target areas characterized by conductive basement stratigraphy beneath or adjacent to broad zones of inferred sandstone alteration – a setting that is typical of most eastern Athabasca uranium deposits. Keith then outlined Cosa's award-winning management team, which has a long track record of success in Saskatchewan. In 2022, members of the Cosa team were awarded the AME Colin Spence Award for their previous involvement in discovering IsoEnergy's Hurricane deposit. Prior to Hurricane, Cosa personnel led teams or had integral roles in the discovery of Denison Mines' Gryphon deposit and 92 Energy's Gemini Zone, and held key roles in the founding of both NexGen and IsoEnergy. Next we pivoted over to both the Aurora and Orion Projects where the Company will be flying Airborne VTEM gravity at Aurora, and conducting ANT surveying at Orion, to further refine km-scale sandstone conductivity anomalies. Both projects are expected to be drill ready for H1 2025. We wrapped up with the share structure, key strategic investors, and the financial strength of the company to complete this year's exploration and have access to capital in the future. Click here to see the accompanying images on the KE Report site If you have any questions for Keith regarding Cosa Resources, then please email them in to me at Shad@kereport.com. In full disclosure, Shad is a shareholder of Cosa Resources at the time of this recording. Click here to follow the most recent news from Cosa Resources

Reyna Silver's Lauren Megaw sat down with MSD this week in New York City for an update from the company. Reyna has closed its financing which will allow them to begin work on the Gryphon precious metals project this year. The conversation also provides Lauren the opportunity to open up about exploration teams taking projects and now reassessing them for a critical minerals pathway. With this bring new life into brownfield projects? What do investors need to know and watch out for?
Interview with Lauren Megaw, Investor Relations of Reyna Silver Corp. Our previous interview: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/posts/reyna-silver-tsxvrslv-advancing-high-potential-crd-silver-projects-in-nevada-mexico-5134Recording date: 14th May 2024Reyna Silver Corp (TSXV:RSLV) is an emerging precious metals exploration company with a portfolio of high-grade, district-scale projects in the world-class mining jurisdictions of Nevada and Mexico. The company's flagship asset is the Gryphon project in Nevada, where drilling is set to commence this summer to test multiple gold, silver, copper, and zinc targets.Reyna Silver's management team has a proven track record of success in exploring for carbonate replacement deposits (CRDs), which are known for their potential to host large, high-grade ore bodies. The company's CEO, Jorge Ramiro Monroy, was a key member of the MAG Silver team that discovered the Juanicipio CRD deposit in Mexico while Peter Megaw, Reyna Silver's Chief Exploration Officer, is a world-renowned expert on CRDs and has been involved in multiple major discoveries over his career. In addition to the Gryphon project, Reyna Silver has three other wholly-owned projects that offer significant exploration upside: Medicine Springs, Nevada: A carbonate replacement deposit target with strong potential for high-grade silver, lead, and zinc mineralization; Guigui, Mexico: A large, district-scale CRD play in the heart of the Santa Eulalia mining district, the world's largest known CRD system; and Batopilas, Mexico: A historically productive, high-grade native silver district with excellent potential for additional discoveries.Reyna Silver is well-funded to aggressively advance its projects, having recently raised C$4.6 million through a private placement. The company has a tight share structure and management owns approximately 20% of the shares, ensuring strong alignment with shareholders. The macro backdrop for precious metals is highly favorable, with negative real interest rates, unprecedented monetary and fiscal stimulus, and rising geopolitical tensions all supportive of higher gold and silver prices. Silver, in particular, stands to benefit from its dual role as both a monetary and industrial metal. Silver's use in solar panels, electric vehicles, and 5G technology could drive strong demand growth in the coming years.Reyna Silver offers investors a compelling opportunity to gain exposure to the bull market in precious metals through a company with high-quality assets, a proven management team, and multiple near-term catalysts. With drilling set to commence at the flagship Gryphon project this summer, the company is well-positioned to deliver exploration success and create significant shareholder value. The key risks to consider include the inherent exploration risk in the mining sector, as well as the potential for permitting delays or challenges in the company's operating jurisdictions. However, Reyna Silver's experienced team and diversified asset base help mitigate these risks. In summary, Reyna Silver offers a unique investment opportunity in the precious metals space. The company's focus on high-grade, district-scale CRD deposits, coupled with its strong management team and robust financial position, make it well-suited to capitalize on the bull market in gold and silver. With drill rigs set to turn at the Gryphon project in the coming months, investors would be wise to keep Reyna Silver on their radar.View Reyna Silver's company profile: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/companies/reyna-silverSign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com

Keith Bodnarchuk, President and CEO of Cosa Resources Corp. (TSX-V: COSA) (OTCQB: COSAF), joins us for a comprehensive introduction to this Canadian uranium exploration company operating in northern Saskatchewan. The portfolio comprises roughly 209,000 ha across multiple projects in the Athabasca Basin region, all of which are underexplored, and the majority reside within or adjacent to established uranium corridors. We talked with Keith about Cosa's primary focus through 2024 will be drilling at their Ursa Project, which captures over 60-kilometres of strike length of the Cable Bay Shear Zone, a regional structural corridor with known mineralization and limited historical drilling. Initial drilling results from Ursa in winter 2024 were positive and included the intersection of a broad zone of alteration with associated structure in the Athabasca sandstone located 250 to 460 metres above the sub-Athabasca unconformity. Follow-up drilling is planned in the second half of 2024. We then spent more time having Keith outlining Cosa's award-winning management team has a long track record of success in Saskatchewan. In 2022, members of the Cosa team were awarded the AME Colin Spence Award for their previous involvement in discovering IsoEnergy's Hurricane deposit. Prior to Hurricane, Cosa personnel led teams or had integral roles in the discovery of Denison Mines' Gryphon deposit and 92 Energy's Gemini Zone and held key roles in the founding of both NexGen and IsoEnergy. Gryphon and Scott discuss memorization motivation from the perspectives of quizzers, parents, coaches, and program administrators. What drives motivation and competition? What are the cycles and trends that contribute to memorization motivation, both within and beyond the influence of coaches and administrators? Is making a quiz meet "too fun" counter-missional? All this, plus a reference to an obscure Japanese sushi-maker documentary. As always, email questions and comments to iq@cbqz.org and follow us on Twitter: @InsideQuizzing. In today's episode we'll discuss:Why do people listen to podcasts?Hanging on while life tries to knock you downNew hobby, who dis?Blurb-Completed SeriesNot your typical reverse harem…Gryphon shifter Gesa Lionheart isn't your typical heroine. Screwed over by her family—a stunningly medieval gryphon clan that is supposed to value loyalty and truth—the former bodyguard sets out on her own to a remote city growing in the Michigan wilderness. With little in the way of life skills outside her clan training, and no one to depend on, she becomes a bounty hunter—chasing down low-level supernatural criminals for the local human police department.Gesa knew life would be hard outside the clan, but she had no way of predicting just how strange her life would become, all thanks to a beautiful but dangerous male fae and a simple missing person's case. Now she's over her head in a world that isn't what it seems, where humans can almost see the truth, rich supe philanthropists make people disappear with ease, and harem lion prides aren't just for males….Gryphon's Pride is a reverse harem romance novella with an urban fantasy feel. Starts as a medium burn romance in this first book (ie: fewer sex scenes), and increases from there. Suitable for mature readers (and those with a sense of humor) only. If swearing, sex, or talk of past trauma are offensive to you, this might not be your thing.Author's Note: I was tired of reading the same old thing over and over again in reverse harem. Sick of all alpha male and fainting female all the time—and desperate to be able to tell the male characters apart—I tried to infuse some variety into my story. Gesa might not be your cup of tea, and that's okay—she doesn't care. Her lovers are as varied in physicality and personality as they are in supernatural race. And the characters all have their own definition of sexuality. I know reverse harem is all about the fantasy, and my fantasy is a bit outside the norm. In our third installment with Gryphon Audio Designs, we speak with Gryphon's Sales Director, Rune Skov, at T.H.E. Show 2023. He's responsible for the company's worldwide sales strategy, tasked with the daunting goal of turning Gryphon into the most sought-after brand in hi-fi. Gryphon Audio's vision is clear: the company wants its brand to be as recognized as the “Lamborghini of High End Audio,” exclusive to the select few who value its performance and style. It takes more than a clever marketing message to achieve this this goal. The company is building some of the world's finest audio products in Denmark, at prices higher than one might expect; however, they offer a full system approach, which means that Gryphon offers every component in the audio chain…including the cables. That leaves no uncertainly for the customer and assures that everything from source through speakers is meticulously engineered to function perfectly together. Gryphon Audio Designs was founded in 1985 and Rune's career trajectory has been nothing short of meteoric. After 12 fulfilling years as a teacher at a prestigious private school, Rune was recruited by Nordost and quickly rose to become one of the most prominent figures in Danish High End. Spending over 100 days per year visiting foreign dealers and distributors while studying for his MBA, Rune recently graduated with honors and has already been appointed to the Board of Directors of several large Danish corporations. Rune's dedication, love of music and personal sense of style have contributed to Gryphon's explosive growth and stature as one of Ultra-Luxe audio's true icons. The proud father of 5 beautiful children, Rune's personal and professional life recently merged when his oldest son, Alexander Raul, joined the Gryphon team as the company's first Sales & Marketing intern. One of the company's major shareholders, Rune relishes his role as Gryphon's international Brand ambassador and loves nothing more than sharing his enthusiasm for the brand and its peerless products. For more information: https://gryphon-audio.dkRelated links:Podcast: Gryphon Audio North America, Anthony Chiarella at T.H.E. In the second of 7 podcasts recorded at T.H.E. Show 2023, we expand our conversation into the distrubtion arm of Denmark's ultra-luxe brand, Gryphon Audio Designs ApS. We speak with Anthony Chiarella, Director of Sales & Marketing for Gryphon Audio Designs N.A., which was established as a wholly owned subsidiary of the brand headquartered in Denmark, to extend Gryphon's availability through its U.S. and Canadian retailer partners. Anthony shares his unique background and provides an industry insider's perspective of the high-end audio business. Anthony Chiarella officially became an audio geek at the age of 13 when he joined his high school AV Club (“We got beaten-up by the football team every Friday!”) and by 16 he was working as an Audio Salesman at New York's notorious Crazy Eddie. After earning his MBA, he achieved success on Wall Street but soon realized he was more interested in HiFi than High Finance and took a sales position at Lyric HiFi, then the mecca for High End Audio, where he met many industry luminaries including Harry Pearson, Founder and Publisher of The Absolute Sound (TAS). Anthony soon started writing for TAS and most other High End mags and wound up freelancing for Maxim, Esquire, GQ and other mainstream Men's Magazines. At the same time, some of the companies about whose products he was writing were looking for sales and marketing help, which led him to found Specialty Sound and Vision (SSV), a NY Metro Rep Firm, in 1996. Dedicated to working with the territory's best retailers, SSV is considered “THE High End Rep Firm.” After the Great Recession, most of the NY Metro retailers closed, so SSV became a National Sales Management company, representing Gryphon, Brinkmann and other Ultra-Luxe High End Manufacturers across the US and Canada.Thank you to our sponsors Q Acoustics & SVS for the support of our programming!https://www.qacoustics.comhttps://www.svsound.comRelated links: Podcast: Gryphon Audio's #1 Dealer, Joseph Cali at T.H.E. This episode, we find ourselves reading and discussing the second anthology. This one is entitled Worlds of Honor. It was published in 1999 and contains five stories. Aptly named, these stories are as much tied to Honor's worlds, as to the characters we read about. Through the pens of several authors, we travel to Sphynx, Manticore, Gryphon, and Sylvestria.First comes the story The Stray, written by Linda Evans. Linda brings us to Sphynx for the second bonding between a human and treecat: that between Dr. Scott MacDallan and Fisher, just 15 months after Stephanie Harrington is adopted by her treecat. The story focuses on a stray treecat named True Stalker who, near death, finds Scott and Fisher. He leads them to the crash site of an aircar, located near a facility owned by BioNeering. There are essentially two storylines here. First, we gain additional insights into what humans and treecats experience as a bonded pair. We also glimpse into the treecats' moral code as Scott and Fisher learn through True Stalker that the aircar crash wasn't an accident. It was a murder to cover up what's occurring in the related storyline. In the second storyline, related to this case something has gone wrong at the BioNeering research site with the devastating result of killing off a significant section of Picket Wood trees. As we already know, this species of tree is a clonal organism (much like the Aspen tree on Earth). It is also a primary environment for treecat colonies. The murder of the aircar crew was an attempt to hide the significant damage that had been done to the forest. What wasn't known or anticipated by BioNeering: one of the crew aboard the shuttle was paired to the treecat True Stalker — the same cat that found and brought Scott and Fisher to the crash site. Ultimately, the crime is revealed. As a side note, we learn of Manpower Unlimited., a company which provides cloned and bio-engineered human slaves to corporate colonies looking for labor they wouldn't have to pay to work in dangerous environments. This is a company that will play a large role in future stories. All three of us gave this story a “thumbs-up”, with Raul sneaking a second “thumbs-up” in for good measure. The second story was written by David Weber: What Price Dreams? We are introduced to Princess Adrienne and her father King Roger II. We see an estranged relationship which was the result of the assassination of Adrienne's mother, Queen Solange. The damaged relationship between Roger and Adrienne is further fueled by the Princess' fascination with treecats. When she makes a trip to Sphynx two important things happen: she's adopted by the treecat Seeker of Dreams; and next, she's target of an attempted assassination. The attempt is ultimately foiled by Seeker of Dreams and his clan. Of note, these events occur not long after the first adoptions of Stephanie Harrington and Scott MacDallan. As a result, not much is known about treecats, adoptions are still very few, and as a result, opinions run strong. With Adrienne's salvation coming through the hands of treecats, King Roger has a change of heart regarding treecats in general, and the rights of these sentient creatures. One nugget of information we gain from this story is of a technique called a “psych adjustment,” with all its unresolved moral baggage. We get just enough information about it to see what happens when psych adjustments are used for malicious purposes where an adjusted individual is effectively programmed and used to attempt the assassination of Adrienne. Another nugget is more background on Manpower and Mesa and especially their attempts to get hold of treecats for “research” purposes.Your hosts all rated this one with a “thumbs-up” as well.Queen's Gambit was the third story in the anthology. It was penned by the expert hand of Jane Lindskold. Here we move...

From a young age, Tim Frick knew that he wanted to make instruments. As a teenager, he began building basses for himself. He'd eventually take a class with famed archtop guitarmaker Tom Ribbecke, work at Gary Brawer's repair shop in San Francisco, and then spend years alongside lutherie legend Frank Ford at Gryphon Guitars in Palo Alto, California. These days, Frick is based in Portland, Oregon, where he repairs guitars and builds his own archtop guitar creations. For episode 75 of the podcast, Tim tells us about his journey, why he uses mostly hand tools, and his thoughts on voicing archtops. We also talk Japanese hand tools and much more. https://timfrickguitars.com/ https://www.instagram.com/timfrickguitars/ Luthier on Luthier is hosted by Michael Bashkin of Bashkin Guitars and brought to you by the Fretboard Journal. We reviewed the first book of the, The Bonds that Tie series, and holy shit....we are obsessed. During recording Morgan was already on book 5 and couldn't put it down, Jillian was well on her way through the 2nd book. We are read a lot of paranormal romance books, a lot of RH books, and a mix of both. We have never read anything like this and we are loving it. The characters, the plot, the idea behind the story line.....we could go on and on. We meet the main character Oleander, or Oli, she is one of the most fierce woman characters we have come across and we love her. The men, North, Nox, Gryphon, Gabe, and Atlas all have their own stories and connections to Oli. They are all destined to be together, but sometimes the universe has other plans. Listen to this episode and for gods sake READ this book series, you won't regret it. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/the-smut-hive/support
