Who could have known that after all this time, it is us who moves the thumb to signal the demise of managers in Europe. After Jonathan Johnson joined Andy earlier this week to discuss Marseille's mauling at the Parc des Princes, Roberto De Zerbi has left the Stade Vélodrome by mutual consent.Today however, it's Lars Sivertsen who accompanies Dotun and Andy to discuss the news of his departure. Plus, Antonio Conte puts a penny in the swear jar after Napoli's Coppa Italia exit, and the title race heats up in the Primeira Liga.Ask us a question on Twitter, Instagram and TikTok, and email us here: otc@footballramble.com.For ad-free shows, head over to our Patreon and subscribe: patreon.com/footballramble.***Please take the time to rate and review us on Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your pods. Nevena and Macca talk to Oscar Revelins, live in the studio to talk to about the process of going about being published in Australia if you’re a new author. Oscar Revelins studied theatre, film, and television at the University of California, Los Angeles, before pivoting to English Literature and graduating with a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Western Australia. He was born in Melbourne, spent nine years in Los Angeles, and then two in Perth, before settling back in Melbourne, where he currently resides. In 2025, he published his debut novel Delicate Friends, won the Varnish Prize for Fiction with The Light Declines, received third prize at the My Brother Jack Literary Awards with Bishops, and was selected for the Perth Queer Film Festival with After The Funeral. In 2024, he was published on the Grattan Street Press blog with his article What I Wish I'd Known Trying to Publish a Book at 23 with No Connections. As a teenager in high school, his two novellas Smoke Tricks and Deserted received gold and silver keys respectively from the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards in 2017. https://www.oscarrevelins.com/delicatefriends Perth, Western Australia. Spring bleeds into a sweltering summer as twenty-year-old Austin finds himself in unfamiliar territory. After abandoning his grief-stained life in Melbourne, reinvention could be his salvation – if only he knew where to find it. As Austin navigates class dynamics, social isolation, and a taut relationship with his estranged cousin, he meets Ezra: handsome, older, and romantically jaded. Where Austin is reckless and petulant, Ezra is measured and guarded, though despite their polarity, they find themselves entangled in an unorthodox friendship that teeters between desire and disaster. When wounds from both their pasts reopen, they must face the uncertainty of vulnerability or risk losing themselves – and each other – in the process. ‘Delicate Friends' explores the thrilling yet painful grey area between friends and lovers, and charts the masochistic games we play in the pursuit of belonging. The post Sat, 24th, Jan, 2026: Oscar Revelins, Author of Delicate Friends appeared first on Saturday Magazine.

Hot Dateline Month continues with this breakneck chase down the long dark highway of mental illness. Episode 16 of season 31, entitled "On A Dark, Deserted Highway", begins decades before the terrifying police pursuit that gives this episode its name. It's the dark saga of a tormented man whose twisted actions towards his wives and loved ones should have resulted in his confinement and treatment years before he went on a deadly shooting spree and high speed chase on a peaceful Montana night. How does one man end up turning against the very system that allowed his crimes to go unchecked for years? That's the question Christopher and Eric wrestle with in this truly disturbing installment of one of their favorite true crime shows.

Episode Topic: The Dim and Deserted Places Arielle Phillips Ph.D., discusses her research into the "emptier spaces" and "dimmer objects" of the universe. She explains her approach of focusing on the emptier spaces between galaxies to uncover fundamental truths about the cosmos. Using her background in computational astrophysics, she models how galaxies move and evolve. Through a series of engaging examples and analogies, she helps the audience understand how astronomers collect and interpret information—from light to gravitational waves—to paint a more complete, dynamic picture of the universe.Featured Speakers:Arielle Phillips Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Practice in the Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Notre DameRead this episode's recap over on the University of Notre Dame's open online learning community platform, ThinkND: https://go.nd.edu/33fd34.This podcast is a part of the ThinkND Series titled Our Universe Revealed. Thanks for listening! What if the unseen world is not just something to fear but something to learn from?In Out of the Darkness, Into the Light, paranormal investigators Cara Cilento and Gail Gamble take readers on an extraordinary journey through some of the most haunted locations, eerie artifacts, and chilling personal encounters with the supernatural. Drawing from years of firsthand experiences, they blend historical intrigue with deeply personal insights, uncovering not just spirits, but the lessons they leave behind. From haunted asylums to cursed objects, every case reveals more than just a ghost story—it explores the imprints of human emotion, trauma, and the echoes of history that refuse to fade. Always the healthy skeptic, she constantly seeks why but admits sometimes the knocks and creaks are not the pipes! She works closely with equipment developers in Italy hoping to bring international knowledge of the paranormal to the United States. Gail can be seen on Haunt TV, In Search of Hauntings and has authored Out of Darkness, Into the Light as well as The Pen and the Planchette.BioCara CilentoCara Cilento is a paranormal researcher, investigator, and author. Can you imagine being stranded for years on a remote uninhabited island with almost nothing but a few simple tools and the clothes on your back? Some people haven't had to imagine this scenario, like Alexander Selkirk, the inspiration for Robinson Crusoe, and Fernão Lopes, who would actually live alone for a total of several decades on the remote Atlantic island of St. Helena. When you and I look at the struggles in our lives, our sins and mistakes, and all those things that have led us away from God, it's tempting to wonder if He's forsaken us. It's easy to assume that God has simply thrown up His hands and walked away. We would certainly have it coming. So, have you ever found yourself wondering if you've been abandoned? If you have, then take a look at the ancient city, God's amazing promise for it, and what He accomplished there for you.
Friends,Today we explore how and why the United States government nearly shut down — due to the ineptitude of Donald Trump, Elon Musk, House Speaker Mike Johnson, and right-wing House Republicans. The shutdown was averted, but a significant number of Republicans deserted Trump. Is this a preview of the chaos we're likely to see over the next four years? Why does an unelected multi-billionaire have so much power? Will Johnson survive? Why did Trump insist on raising the debt ceiling? And whatever happened to the Biden administration, which is still technically in office? Please pull up a chair, grab a cuppa, take our poll, and join in the conversation. This is a public episode. As the ladies of Salt Lake City jet off to a lavish Palm Springs vacation, tensions remain high between newly sparring couples. Heather dishes to Meredith and Lisa about her confrontation with Bronwyn, and that conversation serves as a catalyst for issues later in the episode. From the push-fest between John and Justin at Angie's anniversary party, to lingering Alibaba accusations, to the simmering resentment brewing between Lisa and trip host Bronwyn, no amount of custom jewelry could distract the ladies from their ongoing battles. The episode ends on a To Be Continued after Todd and Bronwyn deliver an ultimatum to their guests because he has apparently never seen any Real Housewives show before.
