Presented by Maxxis Round 13 of the Monster Energy Supercross Championship in Nashville, Tennessee, saw the 450-class championship go from the tightest ever at this point of the season, with three racers within five points, to Hunter Lawrence enjoying 10- and 15-point leads over rivals Ken Roczen and Eli Tomac. The hard-packed dirt inside Nissan Stadium posed a problem for many racers, and while Lawrence rode to victory and sole possession of the series points lead, Roczen and Tomac both hit the ground and finished third and 12th, respectively. We cover all of this and more on this week's Maxxis Kickstart Podcast.

PREGAME: THE MIKE VRABEL BOWL - Titans vs. Patriots. WE DISCUSS! PREGAME: THE MIKE VRABEL BOWL - Titans vs. Patriots. WE DISCUSS! FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — Mike Vrabel's been here before. Through the first six weeks of his tenure as Patriots coach, the 50-year-old boasts a 4–2 record—with an upset win over the Bills already in his back pocket—and has New England sitting atop the AFC East standings for the first time since the 2022 season. First place is a spot Vrabel knows all too well, and one that brings things full circle this weekend as the Patriots head to Nashville—another place he's been before. Literally. His opponent in Week 7 will be the same Titans team that fired him less than two years ago. Mike Vrabel Mike Vrabel spent six seasons as the Titans' head coach. / Denny Simmons / The Tennessean / USA TODAY NETWORK Over his six seasons in Nashville, Vrabel built the Titans into a perennial contender. He led them to a 54–45 record, three consecutive playoff berths from 2019 to '21, and AFC South titles in '20 and '21. He also helped them reach the AFC championship game in '19, and earned AP Coach of the Year honors in '21 after earning the AFC's No. 1 seed with a 12–5 season. And yet, despite tallying more wins than losses and building a rock-solid culture, Vrabel's Titans never truly broke through. Two consecutive losing seasons followed that promising 2021, and he was let go by the club in January of '24. What makes a revenge game? As Vrabel prepares for his much-anticipated return to Nissan Stadium, this time in a different shade of blue, he's doing his best to block out the noise. “I think it would file under the category of, ‘Is it interesting or important?'” he explained on Monday morning when asked about going back to Nashville, delivering his signature line. “I would probably say this would be very interesting. But in the end, not very important to our preparation or what we need to continue to try to do to improve as a team.” But let's not sugarcoat it. This one means more. It has to. While Vrabel has done his part in shouldering the blame for his own demise in Tennessee, there were plenty of other circumstances that led to his eventual firing. Between a pedestrian-at-best quarterback in Ryan Tannehill, his front office trading wide receiver A.J. Brown out from under his nose, and having to report to a meddling team owner in Amy Adams Strunk, it's fair to say Vrabel's hands were tied down the stretch of his time with the Titans. LAS VEGAS – The Titans better hope what happened in Vegas stays in Vegas. In the Sin City, the Titans committed plenty of sins to get them beat in a 20-10 loss to the Raiders. The loss halted the positive feelings coming from last week's win at Arizona, and it dropped the team to 1-5. Quarterback Cam Ward threw a touchdown pass late, but the Titans sputtered on offense for most of the day and turned the ball over three times. While the defense battled, and did its part to keep the game close, this wasn't a day for complementary football, as the Titans couldn't muster up much offense on a day when Ward was sacked five times, and was responsible for all three of the team's turnovers. Ward finished the day 26-of-38 passes for 222 yards and an interception. Ward also lost two fumbles on the day. The Titans were forced to play catch-up football from the get-go, and they couldn't do it. The Raiders took a 3-0 lead in the first quarter on a 50-yard field goal from kicker Daniel Carlson on their opening possession. While the Titans defense created havoc early, providing consistent pressure on Raiders quarterback Geno Smith, the offense struggled to get anything going. Then, late in the second quarter, disaster struck. That's when Raiders linebacker Devin White sacked Ward deep in Tennessee territory, forcing a fumble in the process. The Raiders recorded it at the Titans two-yard line, and cashed it in a short touchdown pass from Smith to tight end Michael Mayer to make it 10-0. The Titans appeared to be headed for points at the end of the first half, but Ward was hit as he threw the ball, and it was intercepted. The Titans trailed 10-0 at halftime. The Raiders then stretched the lead to 17-0 midway through the third quarter on a three-yard touchdown run by Ashton Jeanty. The Titans finally got on the scoreboard with 1:08 left in the third quarter on a 46-yard field goal by kicker Matthew Wright, which capped an eight-play, 51-yard drive. But the Titans couldn't make it much of a game after that, as the Raiders extended their lead to 20-3 on another Carlson field goal with 7:14 left to make it 20-3. A one-yard touchdown pass from Ward to tight end David Martin-Robinson made it 20-10 with 3:03 left, but it was too little, too late. He had won a bunch of different awards, appeared on American Idol and The Voice, and even spoke to Congress about the drug problem in America, along with a bunch of other topics. Jelly got into his journey of trying to become a healthier version of himself and all the trials and tribulations that came with it. He also talked about his dreams of giving back to the youth of Nashville as well as playing the last show at Nissan Stadium. The podcast jumped all over the place, but that’s usually what happened when Jelly joined the boys. A bunch of laughs, some serious convos, and just an overall good time. Enjoy fellas!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
