#TITANS #NYJETS #TITANUP #JETS B/R: https://br.app.link/hkl9b4deUMb The Tennessee Titans dropped another close one Sunday, losing 24-17 to the New York Jets at Nissan Stadium to fall to 0-2 in 2024. Quarterback Will Levis turned the ball over twice in the loss. The score was tied late into the fourth quarter, but Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers led the visitors to victory with a late game-winning drive. A disastrous, unforced red zone fumble. An interception wrestled out of a receiver's hands on a 50-50 ball. Another blocked punt. These are the kinds of errors the Titans spent the entire week talking about how they need to prevent. They also discuss Cam Miller's strong start and what to look for in this game Saturday. They also chat about the changes to how the game will look for fans. Robby Stanley of the Nashville morning sports talk show Robbie and Rexrode (102.5-FM, The Game) fills in for the vacationing John Glennon to talk all things Titans. ... The preseason opener against San Francisco ended with the Titans getting a 17-13 win. It started will all of San Francisco's big names on the sideline while most of Tennessee's number-ones played a quarter or more. It ended with players and coaches saying any win (even in the preseason) is an important step toward making winning a habit. ... Quarterback Will Levis, who directed two scoring drives in that game, made national headlines days later with the release of Will Levis Cologne, a fragrance inspired by his love for mayonnaise. But did he and the creators use the wrong mayonnaise as their inspiration? ... After two days of joint workouts with the Seattle Seahawks, coach Brian Callahan said he does not need to see the starters play against the Seahawks in Saturday's preseason contest at Nissan Stadium. ... Malik Willis will be the Titans' starting quarterback against Seattle, which could be his opportunity to lock down a roster spot or an opportunity to showcase him as a potential trade target. ... If the San Francisco game is an accurate indictor, the Titans are well-positioned to take advantage of the NFL's new kickoff rules.

Host Grace Fuisz is on vacation, so we got the next best thing: Mayor Freddie O'Connell sits in for the Tuesday News Roundup with producer Marie Cecile Anderson and executive producer Whitney Pastorek. He's talking about administrative accomplishments like the opening of permanent supportive housing facility Strobel House and the countywide expansion of Nashville Strong Babies; we also get updates on the frustrations of our Community Review Board, how he's handling our neo-Nazi problem, and his rationale for keeping Wally Dietz as head of Metro Legal despite the controversies that have swirled around that department in the last year. (In related good news: late yesterday afternoon, Metro Legal won its lawsuit against the state's attempt to shrink the size of Metro Council, with a court declaring that law unconstitutional.) On this week's episode of Diving In Deep, Sara sits down with upcoming country star Kylie Morgan and talks about all things music and life. Kylie shares insight into how her career took off and the people that helped her along the way. The conversation not only explores Kylie's life as a country music star, but also her unexpected wedding, having a viral TikTok song, her close relationship with her mom, and a lesson on geography from Sara.   About Kylie: Kylie Morgan has quickly proven herself to be a relatable storyteller and an engaging live performer. The Oklahoma native is known for baring her soul in her confessional lyrics and leaving her heart on the stage, whether she's headlining her own tour or supporting acts like Old Dominion. In doing so, she makes her listeners feel less alone. While Kylie began writing songs at a young age, it wasn't until her grandfather bought her a pink acoustic guitar for Christmas that it all came together. "I got my first guitar and it just clicked: Here's where a verse goes, here's where the chorus goes," she says of her early songs around age 12. "It actually started to make sense for me, and you couldn't get me out of my room writing songs." She has since spent the past 14 years honing her craft in the writing room and on the stage. Kylie vividly recalls first sharing a microphone with her grandfather at a young age while singing Elvis Presley's "That's All Right." At 14, she set out on the open road and began touring full-time and hasn't slowed down since. In August 2022 she made her Grand Ole Opry debut and less than a year later wrapped her first-ever headlining tour. Kylie also performed a career-defining set at Nissan Stadium at CMA Fest 2022 and joined Old Dominion for her first arena trek as part of the band's No Bad Vibes Tour. Shortly after she was taught her first chords on guitar, Kylie told her parents she was going to skip college and move to Nashville to be a country artist. By 15, the young artist was traveling back and forth to Nashville to write with anyone she could. One of her earliest co-writes and believers was Walker Hayes.   Pre-order Sara's new album, Unbroke out 6/7: https://ffm.to/seunbroke   LET'S BE SOCIAL:   Follow Kylie Morgan!
