It's another all action pod after Canada held their own against Uruguay in Bratislava in Tuesday's friendly, the boys channel Bob Ross to paint a rosy picture for CanMNT ahead of Qatar 2022. Questions fly around who will complete a Canadian midfield that is certain to include Stephen Eustáquio, but will Atiba Hutchinson, Jonathan Osorio, Samuel Piette or Ismaël Koné be alongside him? Wonger is worried about Luka Modric and Croatia after their Nations League showing, while Dunny sips Polish beer that ironically sparks a conversation about Moroccan players Canadian fans should be afraid of when they face Canada in Group F. Craig regales wholesome stories featuring his old national team chums. Sebastian Giovinco also tries to pull a fast one...  on Toronto FC. And, inspired by TFC's Federico Bernardeschi, the coolest members go all Toronto street slang on their square podmates.    The Premier League has a new home in Canada this season: FuboTV. Brendan Dunlop, Craig Forrest, Jimmy Brennan and James Sharman recap a wild derby weekend that saw CF Montreal recover from conceding two goals in the first 7 minutes, to beat Toronto FC 4-3 dealing a massive blow to TFC's hopes of making the MLS Cup Playoffs. The crew discuss the glaring weaknesses that have hurt TFC's late Italian influenced surge. Manchester United's ended Arsenal's perfect season with their best performance of the Erik ten Hag era, thanks to a debut goal from new star Antony and a stellar return to form for Marcus Rashford.    Dunny is worried about what Cristiano Ronaldo's situation means for Portugal at this winter's World Cup. No one envies Fernando Santos. Nottingham Forest's loss to a reeling Bournemouth has Jimmy worried that Steve Cooper's days are numbered, and the crew agree that the writing is on the wall for Brendan Rodgers. Craig is furious with VAR for denying West Ham a point at Stamford Bridge. Sharms is content with a Merseyside Derby draw, because we were all entertained in the process. Jonathan David and Theo Corbeanu put their names on this scoresheet this weekend, which had the boys talking CanMNT, and did you know Joe Hart was Celtic's goalkeeper?    The Premier League has a new home in Canada this season: FuboTV. Three weeks in to the Premier League season, and it's quickly shaping up to be one of the most entertaining and unpredictable seasons in recent memory. Brendan Dunlop, James Sharman and Craig Forrest stumble through the weekend's action, in ways only they can. From Newcastle's performance against Manchester City, turning St. James' Park back into the fortress it once was, with Nick Pope quickly becoming Craig's favourite shot stopper, to the crew praising Jesse Marsch for getting it right at Leeds and stunning Chelsea at Elland Road, they get to it all.    Sharman admits he's never met a Finnish person and hasn't watched the last episode of All Or Nothing: Arsenal because he loves Mikel Arteta and doesn't want it to end, even though Gabriel Jesus has yet to make him a true believer. Dunny is adamant that Gooners have ruined tequila for everybody with that Saliba song. Craig credits Graham Potter for how sharp Brighton have been to start the season, but doesn't want to talk about West Ham.  Dunny isn't as depressed about Villa's loss to Crystal Palace as you might expect and gives some background on his racecar driving father. And Wonger was watching Jimmy's Nottingham Forest instead of his beloved Brentford, proving what we already suspected - that Wonger loves our happiness more than he loves his own club. And the crew are wavering on their belief that Toronto FC can make the MLS Cup Playoffs this season after losing to Inter Miami Saturday night, while CF Montreal and the Vancouver Whitecaps pulled off results that very much make them look like playoff teams. The 30 year-old is having quite the season for both club and country and shared insights into what it's been like at Toronto FC since the arrivals of Lorenzo Insigne, Federico Bernadeschi and Domenico Criscito. You might be surprised to learn who has control of the music in the change room.    Sharms refuses to talk about Liverpool's 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace, or Darwin Núñez's red card. And the crew celebrated Craig Forrest on the 30th anniversary of the first ever Premier League game by quizzing him to name as many of the 22 players that were on the pitch that day when Ipswich Town played Aston Villa to a 1-1 draw. No shortage of storylines from the second weekend of the Premier League season! Brendan Dunlop, Craig Forrest and Jimmy Brennan start with Tottenham's stoppage time comeback at Stamford Bridge that saw managers Antonio Conte and Thomas Tuchel pulled off each other. They debate whether Chelsea v Tottenham is now the Prem's best rivalry, highlight where it went wrong for Chelsea in the second half and credit Harry Kane and Spurs for a comeback that made Kalidou Koulibaly's worldie feel like it was a week ago. Manchester United fans won't be able to forget Saturday's capitulation at Brentford soon enough. Producer Dan Wong was absolutely buzzing seeing his Bees pull off one of the most unexpected upsets in Premier League history. Things are so bad at Old Trafford that the club are reportedly exploring their options to terminate Cristiano Ronaldo's contract. Jimmy & Craig explain how difficult that actually is and why it would be a bad move for United.   Nottingham Forest's first Premier League win at home over Forrest's West Ham has Jimmy over the moon, and the crew debate whether Arsenal can keep up this form to contend for a Top 4 spot come the end of the season. The massive money spent on Lorenzo Insigne and Federico Bernardeschi has paid off as Toronto FC pulled off a late win over Portland Timbers, on the same night CF Montreal survive the heat in Houston. What a time to be a Major League Soccer fan! Brendan Dunlop, Craig Forrest and Jimmy Brennan had a lot to recap as James Sharman returned from vacation at just the right moment to witness Lorenzo Insigne and Federico Bernardeschi's Toronto FC debut - although Sharman's jealousy over Jimmy & Dunny's Beer Fest stories is clearer than a calorie conscious light beer. The crew marvelled over the immediate impact the Italian duo made on a TFC team that sits 5 points out of a playoff spot with 12 MLS games to play this season. If Saturday's 4-0 win over Charlotte FC was just the appetizer, it's going to be one special meal! Gareth Bale's first goal for LAFC and Xherdan Shaqiri's dagger against the Vancouver Whitecaps put the bow on a wild MLS Saturday night.    Forrest and Jimmy relive the most haunting moments from their playing careers, much to the amusement of producer Dan Wong. Sharms is not a fan of pre-season tours trying to replicate meaningful games and gets into a hilariously heated exchange with Dunny about El Clásico in Las Vegas. Erling Haaland's Manchester City debut at Lambeau Field in Green Bay is discussed, as is Arsenal's hot start to the pre-season and Thomas Tuchel's frustration with Chelsea's summer transfer window. The crew also make another athletic challenge, putting Jimmy and Craig on the spot to pick the best squad amongst the six of them to win a 3v3 mini game, at a yet to be determined soccer field not near you.  Presenters: James Sharman, Craig Forrest, Jimmy Brennan, Brendan Dunlop and Dan Wong Voice Over Talent: Jeff Cole This podcast has content that may use words and share tales that offend, please feel free to use your best discretion.  Parental discretion is advised. The crew speculate whether the TFC faithful will be treated to a Italian duo debut on Saturday versus Charlotte FC, with Insigne and Bernardeschi's status both unconfirmed at the time of recording. Continuing the theme of Tuesday's show, Brendan Dunlop, Craig Forrest, Jimmy Brennan and producer Dan Wong go around the table asking each other questions to get to know each other better, which leads Wonger inventing verbs based on everyone's name, their fashion reviews of Federico Bernardeschi's first Toronto FC press conference suit, and stories about their own fashion choices.  Robert Lewandowski's arrival at Barcelona will take some time to get used to, though it did not take Barça long at all to beat up on the sons of Phil Neville & David Beckham and Inter Miami. Erik ten Hag's new discipline and fine structure at Manchester United sends Jimmy and Craig down Story Time Road revealing some of the fines, and pranks, routinely pulled in their club change rooms. Jimmy is praying Ronaldo doesn't move to Atletico Madrid, because he doesn't want to listen to Dunny rant about it. another stellar opening from JC the voice vendor has you wishing you had planned the trip to the Calgary stampede   Presenters: James Sharman, Craig Forrest, Jimmy Brennan, Brendan Dunlop and Dan Wong Voice Over Talent: Jeff Cole This podcast has content that may use words and share tales that offend, please feel free to use your best discretion.  Parental discretion is advised. Brendan Dunlop, Craig Forrest, James Sharman and producer Dan Wong react to Toronto FC‘s latest big money Designated Player signing, Italian international and EURO 2020 champion, Federico Bernardeschi. Craig raves about Alex Bono's big saves as the crew debate whether TFC have left it too late to make an MLS Cup playoff run, after Saturday's 1-0 loss away to CF Montreal in the “401 Derby” Canadian Classique. Wonger tries to make sense of the money TFC are spending, and the crew react to Barcelona‘s continued spending with the acquisition of Robert Lewandowski, leaving a hole in Bayern Munich hearts. CanWNT's CONCACAF W Final versus the USWNT is previewed, and we get an answer as to why it's being played Monday night in Monterrey.   The crew are hopeful that the Canadian men's national team players' decision to unionize, along with the legal advice from Toronto and Washington DC-based counsel, can provide a resolution with the Canadian Soccer Association. Talk of Lorenzo Insigne's return from injury sends the boys down a road of old war stories, which includes Sharms revealing he's more fragile than a porcelain doll, and Dunny re-living failed sporting moments at charity games with retired soccer players and NHLers. Lana Del Rey's hit song “Summertime Sadness” could've been the anthem for Toronto FC fans driving home from BMO Field Saturday night, and anyone that still doesn't have reliable internet service. The expected debut of Lorenzo Insigne was delayed for two weeks, and TFC conceded in stoppage time to draw the San Jose Earthquakes 2-2. But as Brendan Dunlop, Craig Forrest and Jimmy Brennan discuss, brighter days are ahead for Jimmy's old club as TFC pulled off a trade to land midfielder Mark-Anthony Kaye from the Colorado Rapids in exchange for Ralph Priso, and loads of TAM/GAM cash. At the match as a fan, Jimmy is reminded of how aggressive he was as a player by San Jose's Shea Salinas.   The Canadian women's national team punched their ticket to the 2023 FIFA Womens World Cup in Australia and New Zealand by reaching the semi-final stage at the CONCACAF W Championship. The crew take credit for Julia Grosso's emergence as a prolific CanWNT goalscorer, since appearing on Footy Prime. Chelsea's £45 million signing of Raheem Sterling from Man City is seen as a win for all parties involved. Gareth Bale and Giorgio Chiellini experience El Tráfico from the sidelines, and Jimmy & Craig explain why European players are so attracted to the North American lifestyle. What a summer it's been for Toronto FC, and the European transfer window isn't even closed yet! James Sharman, Craig Forrest, Jimmy Brennan and Brendan Dunlop react to the reports that TFC have traded designated player and 2020 MLS MVP Alejandro Pozuelo to Inter Miami, to make room for the expected signing of Juventus attacker Federico Bernardeschi on a free transfer. And with defender Carlos Salcedo expected to return to Mexico, there could be another DP slot for Bob Bradley and company to fill. Lorenzo Insigne's much anticipated TFC debut has been pushed back with a lingering calf issue ruling the Italian international out of action this weekend.    Sharms puts Jimmy and Craig on the spot to name the friends they actually enjoyed playing with the most. The crew ponder whether Jesse Lingard would be a better fit for an MLS club or a European club chasing Champions League football, and have some fun with producer Dan Wong for his line of questioning with this week's INTVU guest Trent McClellan. It's an MLS catch-up episode with Taylor Rockwell and Joe Lowery! We first discuss the Concacaf U20 tournament and the USMNT's opponents in their September friendlies, before going deep on the current MLS season. Joe explains, amongst many other things, how Cucho Hernandez could make the Crew instantly better, where Taty Castellanos should go if he ends up leaving NYCFC, the Union's missing piece that's limiting their on-field success, why TFC will still be fun when Insigne arrives, how the Revolution's sales aren't exactly helping them compete, why Atlanta fans should still be confident about making the playoffs, an MLS title in Texas, and why viewers should keep an eye on RSL.
