Jeff Schimmel began his Writing/Producing career in the 1980s while attending law school in Los Angeles. When not studying for the bar exam, Jeff wrote and sold his original Cold War spy thriller, Archangel, to Phoenix Entertainment Group. He then relocated to Orlando, where he was one of the first 30 students inducted into the inaugural class of the University of Central Florida's film program and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree cum laude. After receiving a BA in Film and Psychology from Emerson College in 2002, and a certificate in screenwriting from the same school in 2003, Solet went to work collaborating on a feature length script with his long time mentor, Eli (Cabin Fever/ Hostel) Roth, while continuing to write and direct his own material. Solet's 2005 short, Means to an End, was awarded, "Best Short Horror Film" from the genre's number one authority, "Fangoria Magazine," receiving distribution on Fangoria's prestigious "Blood Drive 2" DVD. Means to an End also won "Best Short Film" and the "Audience Choice Award" at the 2005 Rhode Island International Horror Festival, and "Best Extreme Horror Film" at the 2005 Dragon Con International Film Festival. Solet's latest short film, Grace, has already won "Best Short Film" at the 2006 Rhode Island Horror Festival, the "Peer's Choice Award" at Dragon Con, 2006, and has recently become the first independent film to screen on Fangoria TV.Solet has received equal praise for his work as a screenwriter. His body-horror script, Repeater, came in Second Place in Hollywood's First Glance Film Festival, was a Quarter Finalist in the 2006 Screenwriting Expo, and a Finalist in New York's VisionFest 2006 Screenwriting Contest. His feature length thriller Heartland won Third Place at VisionFest 2005, was a Quarter Finalist in the 2005 Horror Screenplay Contest, finished in the top 25% at the 2006 Screenwriting Expo, and was a Quarter Finalist at the 2006 American Screenwriter's Association Contest. Eli Roth has said Solet's work, "Makes Cabin Fever look like a Disney movie…."Paul is currently in post-production on the feature length version of Grace, from which the much-lauded short film was distilled. He still works and lives - and lives to work - in Los Angeles, CA, ever determined to do his part in raising the bar in today's genre cinema.

Maria Gigante writes, directs and produces short films in Chicago and in Brooklyn, NY. Her films scripts Petal Fall and Eva Eva won screenwriting awards at Screenwriting Expo in LA and the Columbia College Written Image Screenwriting Competition. Her most recently completed short film, Girls Room, hit the festival circuit in 2007. Girls Room is about a Catholic schoolgirl who discovers that there is nothing more frightening than having to go to the old, creepy restroom down the hall – all by herself.Girls Room was Maria's thesis film at Columbia College and won Best of the Fest and the Audience Award at Columbia's 2007 Big Screen Film Festival. It continues to play at festivals including the Short Film Corner at The Cannes Film Festival, LA Shorts Fest, Berlin, Montreal World, and was nominated for the mtvU Student Filmmaker Award at Tribeca and won best short in the Chlotrudis Film Festival.
