Ray Fittipaldo joined Cook & Joe earlier today and said a Mike Tomlin return next season is only at 50 percent in his mind. The guys compared this current situation to what happened with Bill Cowher in the late 90's. But a point off that – the Steelers were not far removed from a Super Bowl appearance and an AFC Championship game.  Is this a crossroads for Art Rooney and the organization?  Ryan Clark pointed out some ways Kevin Colbert and Mike Tomlin have screwed up this roster and culture. The guys ran through some ugly draft misses in the last few years of Colbert's tenure. Another clip from Clark also pointed out how different the culture was with the team when he was here versus now. The guys think the weight of Clark's words are heavier because he played for Tomlin and for the organization.  Mullsy got on the radar of Rich Eisen. Chris is worried every time he starts to feel good about the Steelers, he looks like an idiot the next week. Does it matter how they win as long as they win? Poni thinks a win tonight will really help their playoff chances so he's not worried about style points. Chris doesn't think we will see changes unless they belly-up and lose out, but Poni doesn't see any way that happens. If the Steelers lose tonight, the guys think the season is virtually over. Would it be the worst 2-game stretch in the tenure of Mike Tomlin? / 93.7 The Fan Sports Director Jeff Hathhorn joined the show. Jeff wondered if there is any way we see a team reach 20 points tonight. Jeff gave a lay of the atmosphere at Rivers Casino ahead of Black & Gold Gameday.  Steelers insider Ray Fittipaldo from the PG joined the show. Ray gave his thoughts on what he expects to see tonight against the Patriots following the Cardinals loss. Ray does not expect a lot of risk taking and doesn't think we will see a lot of points. The guys asked Ray about the injury report and who we may see at inside linebacker with multiple injuries at the position. Ray is predicting a 3-0 Steelers win. Ray talked about the importance of Chris Boswell and Pressley Harvin in a game like this.

Steve said Mitch Trubisky has had some success running play action and thinks it's something the Steelers should use more often. Adam pointed out a weakness in the Browns defense that comes from a good player. Steve thinks the Steelers could give the extra attention to Myles Garrett off the edge with some injuries to other Browns edge rushers. Steve raved about the Browns run game and pointed to the offensive line as a big piece of that. On the flip side, he agreed that the Steelers offensive front has not been as bad as people expected so far. In the Browns zone run scheme, they attack linebackers and put them in tough spots to make big plays and he said the Steelers LBs have scored OK so far, led by Myles Jack. In the QB comparison, Steve said Jacoby Brissett will always stand on the side of caution, but Trubisky could open things up if he wanted to. Steve described the Browns as a demoralized team and the Steelers win tonight.
