Alabama's Lieutenant Governor, Will Ainsworth, recently returned from his trip to the Farnborough International Airshow in London and he has some exciting reports of what folks there were saying about Alabama and our potential to be THE destination state for aerospace companies looking to move or expand. Dawson and Ainsworth also talk about the importance of the trades and preparing Alabama students for opportunities in the trades. Not everyone is meant to go to college and work in finance, there are incredible opportunities to make a wonderful living and find meaning in work that doesn't require a degree but does require training. Ainsworth updates us on his plan to get students trained in the trades before they leave high school so they can move right into a career. And finally, Dawson and Ainsworth dive into the desecration of the Lord's Supper during the 2024 Olympic opening ceremony broadcast to 28.6 million viewers. Was this a giant misinterpretation of Greek Mythology sprinkled with pedophilia, or was this a clear attack on the Christian faith that should cause believers everywhere to stand up before there is nothing left to fight for? Tune in to hear what they say. OVERTIME SEGMENT: Trump Assassination Attempt to the Coronation of Kamala Harris: The craziest 2 weeks in American Politics. Run Off 2018: Will Ainsworth for Lt. Gov by Young Alabama
Crossroads appear throughout our lives, some are created by particular moments, and others we go searching for. And that decision on which way to turn, is more challenging at some points than others, but it is that willingness and determination to change that enables us to grow. My guest today, Will Ainsworth, has made some big, positive, and important changes in his life. After watching his father die by the bottle, and realising he was potentially walking a similar path, Will broke this vicious family cycle right before his first son was born. This positive change rippled throughout his entire life. In this episode we discuss knowing your purpose, being forced to make a change, breaking habits by replacing them with better ones, and working on being optimistic. I admire Will for being very open and raw on quite a personal and sensitive topic, and I love the life that he has designed for himself and his family. I hope you enjoy x www.liveimmediately.com
