This passion and interest has led him to counsel marriages in over eighteen countries as well as become founder and director of the Courtship and Marriage Foundation. He is married to Rev. Selina Mugodi Cheshire is super interesting in many ways she is an author, a former Christian Science Nurse and Prayer Warrior a healer, and immigrant from Zimbabwe Africa now living in the United Kingdom and cancer survivor. She grew up without a mother, becoming a mother to her young siblings after her mother passed away at an early age. She moved to the UK in 2002 and struggled a lot with the change of environment especially the weather. Being diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma stage 4 in 2014 just being a few inches from death opened her eyes and changed her life in so many ways. She is here on the edge to share what she knows for sure via ZOOM

In this pod cast I tell a tail of my journey from Zimbabwe Africa to America my, “coming to America” story I guess you could say but it is nothing like the one you might already be familiar with here I share the gruesome ugly side to traveling alone as a 17 year old child and how things may not have turned out as planned rather laying the foundation for the the strong titanium individual it crafted that speaks to tell the tail for you today.

In this episode, I will share my lifechanging experience doing volunteer hospice work in Zimbabwe, Africa in 2012. Coming from the United States where we are very priveledged to have plenty of medical supplies and lots of medicine to help with the suferring that can accompany the end of life process- it was heartbreaking to see those affected by such high level of end of life processes with little to no of the medical support that we have in the US. What they did have was one another and the power of presence. The incredible hospice there would take a neighbor and train them to sit with the neighbor who was dying and teach them how to guide both the patient and the family through the end of life process. A concept that was so beautiful and effective. One that reminded me of how "Doulas" are used for assisting woman during pregnancy. This was the beginning of the birth of my End of Life Doula Training now known as Doulagivers. Doulagivers is a holistic training that teaches the doula how to care for the elderly and end of life patient through all three phases of end of life- physically, emotionally and spiritually.
