The Creating Phenomenal For Your Life podcast is an incredible resource for personal growth and transformation. Hosted by Dr. George, each episode is filled with wisdom, authenticity, and grace that leaves a lasting impact on the listener. Dr. George has a unique ability to make her guests feel heard and valued, leading to deep and meaningful conversations. I have learned so much from every episode I have listened to and I am truly grateful for this podcast.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the message that it brings. The content is always on point, focusing on peace, purpose, kindness, and mindset growth for physicians and high achievers alike. Dr. George's soothing voice adds an extra layer of calmness to the discussions, making it a truly peaceful experience to listen to. Her authenticity shines through in every episode, making it feel like she is speaking directly to you.
One potential downside of this podcast is that there may be a lack of variety in topics or guests. While Dr. George's insights are incredibly valuable, some listeners may prefer a wider range of perspectives and expertise on different subjects related to personal growth and transformation. However, this does not take away from the exceptional quality of the content that is provided.
In conclusion, The Creating Phenomenal For Your Life podcast is a must-listen for anyone seeking inspiration and guidance in their personal growth journey. Dr. George's calming voice, authentic message, and insightful conversations make this podcast truly exceptional. I highly recommend giving it a listen today – you won't be disappointed!

“Do you know anyone well versed in leading a conversation about betrayal - giving language to the emotions, and opening up to healing? Bonus points if it's you.” That was the invitation to Dr. Tracey O'Connell, who graciously said yes. She's an incredible human - deeply insightful, compassionate, and empathetic. Tracey has lived a full & courageous life. She started as a Radiologist and has evolved her skills to include facilitating Dr. Brené Brown's Daring Way program, leading expressive writing programs, and coaching people on sustainable well-being and positive self-worth. She knows how to lead difficult conversations. Today's conversation is about betrayal. It's a complex topic entangled with strong emotions, and is a deep wound for many of us. We'll share our stories and do some processing in real time. We'll also talk about what has helped in the past and what helps us today. Experiencing complex emotions, such as betrayal, is part of the human experience. The episode is an offering for you to give language to any deep wounds that may be present, and start the journey of healing knowing that you are not alone. Tracey O'Connell, MD is a self-described "recovering physician" who expanded her career in Radiology to being an educator, speaker, and coach, fostering positive self-worth and sustainable well-being with teens, physicians, and LGBTQ+. She is a certified facilitator of expressive writing and Brené Brown's shame resilience programs. Her change of direction came after many years of feeling "not enough" as a person, a physician, a parent, or partner. She learned that helping people FEEL better helps them feel BETTER. Owning how we actually feel, how we'd like to feel, how we don't want to feel, and how others feel, significantly helps sustain our self-worth and well-being. Laugh with me and take some notes. . . there are take-aways for creating a more unstoppable life.

This short episode contains reflections on who we are called to be as high achievers with the capability to give and live at an extraordinary level. We'll review some of the wisdom from the last episode shared by Dr. Mariano, and the why behind reaching farther and living louder. It's all to create the world that we want to live in.
This episode is filled with so much greatness. Dr. Connie Mariano has led an unstoppable life and shares her world with us - where she's been, what she's learned, how she thinks about service and serves all who come in contact with her, and what she's welcoming for 2023. In the next 30 minutes you'll smile, tear up, and feel a genuine connection to the stories she shares. Dr. Connie Mariano is used to breaking barriers and shattering the glass ceiling. Her life has been filled with many achievements: high school valedictorian, graduate with honors at the University of California at San Diego, medical degree from the Uniformed Services University School of Medicine, and a distinguished 24-year career in the U. S. Navy. Dr. Mariano has also been the first in the following achievements: The first military woman to become the White House Physician to the President The first woman Director of the White House Medical Unit The first Filipino American in US history to become a Navy Rear Admiral Dr. Mariano now works full time in her private practice, the Center for Executive Medicine, in Scottsdale. She is the author of the book, The White House Doctor: My Patients were Presidents, A Memoir. She also hosts her own talk show on the VoiceAmerica network, “House Calls with Dr Connie,”. Today we are exploring a habit that many of us have - self-protection during times of uncertainty or perceived threat. This concept is presented beautifully by Dr. Brené Brown in her book Atlas of the Heart. Here's what we do as normal humans during times of stress or strain - default to believing with certainty what we (think we) know, armoring up to defend ourselves, and knowing everything rather than being open to learning. In this state, we make decisions quickly, even irrationally, to avoid feeling things like. . . vulnerability. . . uncertainty. . . and foolishness. In this episode, we'll also explore two offerings of living differently in the world, offered by Big Love and Dr. Brown. Simple steps are available to go from ‘normal human behavior' to living a life that is extraordinary. Happy New Year friends. It's going to be an incredible year.
This podcast is about sharing blocks/ideas/ways to improve your quality of life by shifting both mindset and practices. Today's episode provides you with 3 things that you can leave behind in 2022. We are all climbing mountains in some way. . .doing incredible things that challenge us physically and mentally. Today's conversation is with Dr. Nerissa Kreher, a physician in the biotech world and Mom to two amazing young adults. She has taken on 2 extraordinary challenges - raising money for the Fred Hutch Cancer Center and climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro. In just 2 months she'll leave with a team from around the country to ascend to 19,000+ feet. In this episode we explore how she's preparing her mind and body for this challenge. Today's episode is all about creating more peace, calm, and connection for the holiday season. It's a fun conversation with Dr. Santi Tanikella who exudes kindness and grace. We'll cover ways to create more depth during the holidays, and how to overcome the threats to peace. Near the end of the episode, Santi will guide you to reconnect with yourself through a meditation she created. Peace, calm, and connection don't magically happen. . .especially for the high achiever. They require doing less intentionally, stepping back from wanting/needing to control, and enjoying the moments exactly as they are. Santi Tanikella, MD, is a General Pediatrician, Integrative Medicine practitioner, and Life Coach. Her deepest aspiration is to help others find peace and strength – no matter what their challenges are. She has always been interested in the intersection between mind, body, spirit, and motivation. She uses the wisdom of mind-body medicine and coaching to help her clients become aware of negative thought patterns, understand them, and move beyond them so that they can live an empowered life. Many, many high achievers experience guilt, shame, and unworthiness. This podcast episode is all about noticing the unease or restlessness in your body that accompanies these emotions. It's the unease that we try to push away or numb out from. . . distracting us from what we really want in life - peace, meaning, fulfillment. We'll explore how to recognize it, notice the patterns/behaviors that accompany it, and what you can do to stay intentional and in alignment with your values. Rather than being something to run away from, unease can be a beautiful sign that realignment is needed.
Today's episode is about Indecision and what it steals from our lives. You'll see why it is difficult to make decisions, and learn a simple tool to assess the weight of any decision you are making. You'll also gain a better framework for making powerful decisions more often. There may even be some conversation about the Army Reserves (big smile). Decisions can be easy, fun, meaningful, light, humorous, and with far less suffering than you've experienced in the past. They are what lead to a more unstoppable life.
So often I think I know. . . the “right way”, the “right time”, the “right decisions”, only to find out that each day is a new day. Today's episode is about what's happening within me right now. . . timely for Veterans Day. You'll hear about “this feeling” and how I'm navigating the unknown with trusted souls who aren't (yet) on board. You'll also hear encouragement for your calling, and how to navigate it in a meaningful way. We don't need the answers right now, and they are not available. We simply need trust for the next best step forwards. Happy Veterans Day and a special shout-out to the life of CSM Gary Bess and his family. Thank you for your service, we miss you already.

Wake up early. Develop that idea for something new. Exercise. Eat better. Sit down and write. How often do you say you will do something. . . and then do it? For many high achievers, we follow through when we are accountable to someone else. If it's for ourselves, it gets postponed. Today's episode is about creating strong commitments to yourself AND following through. We'll explore the barriers to staying accountable, update the language that you use to stay focused, and build more belief that this is achievable. Staying accountable to yourself leads to higher levels of freedom and fulfillment. . . the ingredients for an unstoppable life. By the way. . .help more people find us.
