The Good Kids: How Not to Raise an A**hole podcast is a truly heartfelt and well-done show that offers a fresh spin on the usual parenting podcast. It brings together a diverse group of guests who share their own experiences and perspectives on raising good human beings in today's world. The podcast is honest, informative, and provides valuable tips for parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, teachers, and anyone who cares about shaping the next generation. The episodes are well-produced, written, and thought through, making it an engaging listen.

One of the best aspects of this podcast is the authenticity it brings to the table. The hosts and guests don't claim to have all the answers or present themselves as experts on parenting. Instead, they provide real stories from real people who are doing their best to raise good kids. This approach makes the show relatable and allows listeners to feel heard and understood. Additionally, the short episode format is a great choice as it makes it easy for busy parents to fit into their schedules.

Another strong aspect of this podcast is its ability to tackle a wide range of topics related to parenting. Whether it's dealing with failure, embracing diversity, or finding humor in everyday struggles, The Good Kids covers various aspects of raising children in an ever-changing world. This breadth of topics ensures that there is something for every parent listening.

While there aren't many negative aspects to this podcast, one potential downside could be that some listeners may find the advice given too generalized or not applicable to their specific situations. Parenting can be highly individualized depending on factors such as culture, family dynamics, and personal beliefs. Therefore, some listeners might prefer more personalized guidance.

In conclusion, The Good Kids: How Not to Raise an A**hole podcast is a fantastic resource for anyone interested in raising thoughtful, smart, and compassionate individuals. It offers a unique perspective on parenting through authentic stories shared by real people facing similar challenges. The podcast is well-produced, diverse in its topics and perspectives, and provides valuable insights and tips. It's definitely worth a listen for parents and anyone involved in the upbringing of children.

We're dropping in your feed today to let you know about a new Lemonada Media Series. In the 1990s, a generation of kids, teens, and young adults got home, kicked off their sneakers, and settled down in front of the TV to watch Ricki Lake. Hosted by Ricki herself alongside TV personality and digital creator Kalen Allen, Raised By Ricki revisits the 90s iconic talk show, The Ricki Lake Show, and the era to which it belonged. Part rewatch podcast, part cultural retrospective, and mostly hilarious, join Ricki and Kalen each week along with cultural icons like John Waters, Rosie O'Donnell, and Andy Cohen, past producers, former guests, former audience members and more.  You may remember her from “The Flintstones” or even the OG “A League of Their Own.” Three years after The Ricki Lake Show first aired, Rosie O'Donnell made her talk show debut. The Rosie O'Donnell Show featured the likes of Tom Cruise and Madonna, where she was known for her authenticity and quirky sense of humor. Rosie joins Ricki and Kalen to talk about her old show, witnessing 9/11, motherhood, and coming out after leaving the daytime circuit. The producers of this series wanted to share Lemonada Media's new release with you. It's called Uncared For. You're more likely to die as a pregnant person in the United States than any other wealthy nation in the world. Why? This six-part series, hosted by award-winning journalist SuChin Pak (Add to Cart, MTV News), takes a deeply personal and wide-ranging look at maternal health care around the globe to find the answer. We start in the United States then travel to Germany, the Netherlands, and Costa Rica to see what works and what desperately needs to change. In the first episode of Uncared For, we'll hear from health equity researchers, birth providers – like the postpartum doula who was there for SuChin – and Black mothers who have been dismissed and misdiagnosed in our broken system of care. How did our system end up like this? And what does this crisis tell us about how our healthcare system stacks up globally?See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

As a White House advisor, author, crisis response leader, non-partisan counselor to policymakers here and abroad, Andy has been called the ultimate outsider's insider for a reason. That's what Andy asks epidemiologist Katelyn Jetelina, who's been watching Europe closely and combing through the data on new variants. She predicts that a winter wave is about 90% likely and explains her biggest worries – an Omicron subvariant called BQ.1.1 and a simultaneous flu wave with fewer masking requirements. She and Andy also discuss how the fall bivalent booster will hold up against new winter variants, why uptake is still so low, and how to plan for gatherings with friends and family this holiday season. She wants to know how they handled these situations and learned to laugh about them years later. How do they do it? Great question, she'd love to tell you.  Legendary actor and director Paul Feig joins Elyse for her very first episode. Note to listeners: he's in a seven-piece suit, and Elyse is in sweatpants.
