Happy Monday #tot fam! I have a very special guest joining me on the podcast for our FIRST official episode. This woman is an absolute icon & her story is awe inspiring! She is a model, a YouTuber, a TikTok star, an IG queen, an inspiration & role model to many and she also happens to be one of my dearest friends, AJ Clementine. In this episode, AJ bares all. We discuss how she knew she was transgender, her coming out journey, gender reassignment surgery, the importance of pronouns & so much more. My apologies in advance for 2 or 3 sections of the ep where audio is a bit hairy (sound spikes/echo-ing) I tried fixing these as much as I could! All part of starting something new! Rest assured the audio is smoothed out in future episodes :)Thanks so much for listening! If you'd like more from AJ, follow her on Instagram @ajclementine_.Be sure to follow us on IG @topicsoftaboo if you would like to get involved (or even featured) in future episodes!0:00-2:54 Intro2:54- 6:56 the realisation/early years6:56-10:51 gender "norms "& society10:51-15:14 gender dysphoria15:14-20:32 what does it feel like to be transgender20:32-23:00 bottom surgery23:00- 24:49 are non-binary people trans?24:49-26:21 they/them pronouns26:21-28:06 perceptions of others28:06-29:44 how did your family react29:44-32:52 hurtful questions32:52-34:00 advice for your younger self34:00- LGBTQ message36:00-36:56 Outro
