Hør mere i vores podcast. Hello and welcome to the Darius Mora Show. My name is Darius Mora and I will be your host. In this podcast I will interview top performers from around the world and try to find out what are their beliefs, thoughts patterns and mental frameworks we can all learn from. In the first season, most of the guests will be from the business world, more specifically from the mobile app space. I myself am the Chief Marketing Officer at Reflectly which is the world's most popular journaling app. Before that I've basically tried building app companies my whole life. In my last company which was in language learning, we took the Silicon Valley route, moved to San Francisco, raised capital but that didn't work. Now Reflectly is on fire, we're at about 10mil users, acquiring 10 - 30k users a day and we started to acquire other companies, building a mental fitness empire. If you want to know, you can check out my YouTube channel Darius Mora where I share practical tutorials about app marketing And I have a couple of courses on Udemy which are best sellers and highest rated in the app marketing and general marketing categories. Here are a couple of highlights of what you can expect in the next couple of episodes. Mik Thobo-Carlsen, founder and chairman of Tattoodo talks about how he convinced Ami James from Miami Ink to become a co-founder. Andreas Kambanis, founder and CEO of Nibble Apps shares the story of launching his apps while backpack. Ryan Holiday, senior growth at Revolut explains how he paid off his college debt by using his growth hacking skills. Matt Silva, Head of Product at Zero Fasting explains what insights learned by building habit-forming products.
Ami James returns to Stitchery Stories today with a very positive message to share with us as we adjust to life 'under lockdown'. Ami was an early guest on Stitchery Stories back in October 2017 when we chatted about how textile art had changed her life after her diagnosis of bipolar disorder. It's been a very busy couple of years for Ami since then, with, sadly, several painful, personal situations to deal with. Yet here she is, pushing forward and helping others deal with anxiety through mindful stitching, as well as an interesting collaboration with a life coach. Our chat turns to what Ami has been doing online to stay connected with her in-person classes and to encourage those who are suffering from anxiety caused by our global situation of fear, isolation and financial worries too. Susan Weeks chats with Ami about: Keeping anxiety at bay with quilting Ami's mental health journey from bipolar diagnosis to her recent discharge from mental health services Being brave and doing live videos on Facebook Stepping up and helping others deal with their anxiety through mindful crafts Doing Facebook live tutorials Getting round to running courses online Sue talks about Zoom video conferencing Taking part in an online 'Zoom' class is easy - honestly! Collaborating with a friend who is a life coach Is the secret to all of this 'hand eye coordination'? "... an internet sensation..."
