Ty Wilson has packed a lot of life experience into his young life thus far. Growing up in rural Ontario, music quickly became a life line for him. Ty's Grandmother was a well-known Peterborough area country musician, opening for legends such as Johnny Cash in the early 60's. She bought him his first guitar at 10 years old and he hasn't slowed down since.Since that time, Ty has worked on a number of musical projects. He signed his first record deal at 16 years old, his second at 22. Working with Canadian Pop heavyweights Vic Park Records, Ty's debut solo ep “Degree's of Separation” was released in 2014. He spent the next few years as a journeyman musician, cutting his teeth on stage at a number of bars and small clubs accross Canada. From the Opera House to busking on the streets of Victoria B.C. Ty has let his passion and love for music drive him.Although it has been some time since his last studio release, Ty is ready to take his Alt-Country sound to the next level. tywilsonmusic.cominstagram.com/tywilsonmusictwitter.com/tywilsonmusictiktok.com/tywilsonmusicfacebook.com/tywilsonmusic

Performing on stages for nearly 2 decades classically trained pianist and Singer/Songwriter Aimee Allen has just taken the next step towards the spotlight. With an incredible team beside her it's now her time to shine. Aimee is most well known for performing multi instrumentally and vocally alongside multi award winning Country Music singer/Songwriter and husband Aaron Allen. “After all these years of being onstage with Aaron, I knew my time would come to pursue something of my own. I have this sound inside of me that I want to share with the world.” And truly the stars aligned for Allen to release her first solo song and she couldn't be more elated. Aimee began writing songs at an early age and continued throughout her life until her pursue of art took the wheel. Still continuing to perform and record studio albums, Aimee also became a well established and quite popular Tattoo Artist which is where she put most of her time and energy. But music was always there silently calling for her when the time was right. Aimee's debut single “It Is What It Is” was produced by multi award winning and former Sony ATV staff Producer Jeff “Diesel” Dalziel who has seen his share of success in the Country world producing artists such as Brett Kissel, Juno award winners The Washboard Union and of course Aimee's other half Aaron Allen. But Jeff is no stranger to the world of Pop and was a strong guiding light on this journey. The song is honest, raw and on par with today's cutting edge Pop acts. Although it's a debut the years of experience come shining through in Aimee's smooth, confident and uniquely pleasing delivery on “It Is What It Is”. Now as she journeys into the unknown it's up to the universe to decide what's next. With Apple Music supporting and playlisting “It Is What It Is” in it's first week of release on 4 playlists, it's fair to say it truly is Aimee Allen's time to shine. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/steven-cuoco0/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/steven-cuoco0/support
Last week, I came across an old song, sung by Canadian Pop & Country Singer Roch Voisine: "Je l'ai vu," which translates to "I saw him," and it inspired me to share this message today. The song draws a parallel between where God can be seen and where he is not. As I was listening to it, I thought we are all here for a reason. The challenge is to take the time to discover our life purpose and have the courage to share it. Another moving part of the song says: "I don't expect anything from him that I don't already have." As I grasp the meaning, I realized that we are already all that we need to be. The question is, do we feel it in our hearts? I found it interesting that a song created in 2003 had a way to create ripple effects almost 20 years later. And it's from this perspective that I'm sharing this message today; that love is all around us. And if at this moment your heart is searching for something, I welcome you to take a moment to pause and be in the silence or watch Roch Voisine's video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7oBlTwX3NU (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7oBlTwX3NU) #Rochvoisine
