SONNETCAST – William Shakespeare's Sonnets Recited, Revealed, Relived
With Sonnet 128, William Shakespeare employs the well-worn poetic trope of a lover who envies the musical instrument being played by his mistress its proximity to her and the delight of her touch. He either imagines or recalls watching her play a harpsichord or similar keyboard and wishes he could trade places with the keys that seem to be kissing her fingertips. But this not being possible, or – as he actually puts it – the keys enjoying themselves as much as they do, he suggests that she continue to allow the keys to kiss her fingers, while he should be allowed to kiss her lips.

Телеграм канал: https://t.me/kaleidoscope_musicCity Life by Artificial.Music | https://soundcloud.com/artificial-musicMusic promoted by https://www.free-stock-music.comCreative Commons / Attribution 3.0 Unported License (CC BY 3.0)https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/deed.en_US

A close second place option for the episode title was “Meeplekeeper's Palace.”Also, there's a little bit of a note in the episodes after the credits (kind of as an epilogue). In the past, I've done a couple prologue/pre-show notes; if necessary, I'd do them again. This particular note makes more sense at the end, so make sure you're tuned in until the “end end.”ANYWAY, Candice Harris joins the show for a super special thirty-third episode! Candice is a lifelong musician and took a similar proclivity of deep-diving things she's passionate about to board games, where she's a media creator for BoardGameGeek. The list of things she doesn't do there would be shorter than what she does, but a few of her contributions include hosting the BoardGameGeek Podcast, Cardboard Creations, TeaForge, The Quad, and probably something else I'm missing. Candice also writes, creates, and contributes in many other capacities, with recent work on BGG's 25th Anniversary Hall of Fame Inductees (click here for video!).The confluence of those interests is what this episode is about, and excitingly Candice has designed a board game, Rivals of Rock, coming to crowdfunding later this year (the game came up organically within some of the topics several times with fun and insightful stories from Candice, but I had a section with a few more questions

In this special edition of the Arete Coach Podcast, Severin Sorensen explores the intersection of AI and music, reflecting on his personal journey with AI-assisted composition. Hans Christian Andersen wrote, "Where words fail, music speaks." What's the music in you that needs voice and delivery? In this episode, Sorensen explores AI's potential to revolutionize creativity, democratize music composition, and serve as a tool for personal expression and leadership storytelling. He encourages listeners to explore AI's role in amplifying human emotion through sound. Recorded one year after his first AI-music exploration in Episode 1166, this episode delves into the evolution of AI in music, the emotional power of sound, and how AI can serve as a creative partner. Key Themes & Insights AI's Role in Music Creation: Sorensen discusses three models of AI-assisted music:Done-for-You AI: Fully AI-generated music.Done-With-You AI: AI-assisted composition.Do-It-Yourself with AI: Human-driven music enhanced by AI tools.Emotional Resonance of Music: Music connects with people through memory, nostalgia, and deep emotions. The Neuroscience of Music: Referencing Dr. Daniel J. Levitin's I Heard There Was a Secret Chord, Sorensen examines how music impacts the brain.AI's "Playful" Creativity: AI performs better in a relaxed, exploratory state, leading to innovative compositions.Music as a Tool for Leadership & Legacy: Through storytelling and AI music experiments, Sorensen illustrates how music can immortalize moments and messages. Musical Experiments & AI Innovations "Semper Fi Homecoming": A tribute to military service members returning home."25 Years of Wisdom": A song created live using AI to honor Lance Descourouez's milestone as a Vistage Chair."Toccata and Stratocaster": An AI-driven musical duel between J.S. Bach and Jimi Hendrix, demonstrating AI's improvisational potential."One in Us": A song inspired by Chip Webster's book Unity in Service, emphasizing community and service. Ultimately, the episode serves as a testament to music's universal ability to connect, heal, and inspire, even when AI is involved in its creation. Sorensen challenges listeners to consider AI not as a mechanical entity but as a new kind of instrument—one that can be guided by human intent to shape profound and deeply personal artistic expressions. Ending with reflections on legacy, leadership, and the role of music in storytelling, he leaves the audience with a thought-provoking question: What unspoken words could take flight if given wings of artistry? The Arete Coach Podcast seeks to explore the art and science of executive coaching. You can find out more about this podcast at aretecoach.io. This episode was recorded on February 10, 2025. Receiving a transistor radio at the age of 8 sparked David's lifelong passion for music. This early love eventually led him to a career in journalism, where he carved out his own niche as a pop music journalist in London. By his 20s, he was traveling the globe, covering the vibrant world of music. David was with Paul Weller when the iconic Band Aid call came in from Midge Ure, a pivotal moment in music history. He also witnessed firsthand how the rise of MTV revolutionized the way bands promoted their music, transforming the industry. Through a combination of talent and being in the right place at the right time, David built a fascinating career. From listening to cassette demos sent in by bands, he discovered and signed his first Danish Grammy-nominated artist. Now based in Valencia, David has returned to his roots by playing in a band once again. This conversation dives into the fascinating world of backing singers, shares plenty of brilliant name-drops, and offers an insider's look at the music industry. It sounds marvellous; we hear a lot of musical experts from the new (digital) album of MRZ - an ambient improvisation trio - and get an explanation of how this relates to the music thinking practise. Welcome to "She Speaks Her Mind" podcast by Anna Pedron! How have you guys been doing? I filmed this back in July 2024, so many more updates coming. I am ready for my winter arc & getting into being consistent. In today's episode I talk all about being more kinder to yourself. So many of us don't realize that we always talk down to ourselves & being so negative. It is time to switch that mindset to giving yourself all the positive self talk you need but that also comes with the belief in yourself. I enjoyed filming this episode for you so I hope you guys enjoy this one as well!Youtube podcast: Watch video podcast here Follow me on podcast platforms: PODCAST IG @shespeakshermindpod PODCAST TIKTOK @shespeakshermindpodcast Follow me on my socials: MAIN IG @annaa.pedron TikTok @annapedron YouTube @annapedron MUSIC: Music by frumhere - so alone for so long - https://thmatc.co/?l=0608805B

https://youtu.be/-EP-IDPM7rM Youtube version https://niobeweaver.com Call to Music Music has always moved my soul. It is the matrix of life in the melody of our soul! It was quite a surprise to find myself in my early forties in a recording studio, recording my first CD of inspirational songs! The ease of melodies and lyrics that came pouring through was like being in deep meditation and touching consciousness itself. It's why I say,'my music comes from of a ‘Voice of its own'. It still feels that way today. Singing became a burning passion with my music and their message finding their way to audiences nationally and globally. My music has been used to lift depression, in childbirth, hospice, memorials and people undergoing treatment. Every time I hear how my music impacts someone's life, my heart is filled with gratitude, knowing I'm on the right path! I have seven albums of original music. Language of Light, Sacred Power A Journey Through the Chakras, Soul Light, Call to the Light, All the Names of Spirit, Rock Your Soul, and Heart of Chant available here on my site via HearNow. I invite you to listen from the inside out. It would be my delight and an honor to hear how these pieces touch you, and to bring a live experience to you and your community.

Welcome to "She Speaks Her Mind" podcast by Anna Pedron! We are finally back with another episode, I have lots of updates to catch you guys up on so stay tuned for the next up coming episodes as this has been filmed a little over a few months ago. Trust me, I have missed posting for you guys!!! Moving on, in today's episode we are going to be talking about how to stop caring about what other people think of us. In today's world it's so difficult to be who we want to be when we have the fear of judgment racing in our minds 24/7. All of us have such a unique talent, a mission we want to share to the world but its already difficult enough when the only person who is stopping us from doing what we want to do is ourselves. On this week's episode we take a trip out towards the park to get a tour of the Kelly Parcel. Its sale is inching closer but the fight to bring it over the finish line is far from over. Also, we hear from Jackson Police Department's mounted patrol atop their steeds and the Grand Teton Music Festival's expansion of programming. Lastly, we had a conversation with the “Jackson Boys” from their time on a national reality television show competition. They talk the heights of their early success and the lows of a scandalous exit. Jackson Unpacked airs locally at 89.1 FM or via live-stream Mondays at 7:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., and Fridays and Sundays at 12:30 p.m. Support Jackson's only nonprofit newsroom by becoming a member of KHOL today.
