On "The Tara Show," the host discusses the president's federal crime crackdown in Washington, D.C., and his declaration of "Liberation Day." The show highlights the President's plan to start by ending cash bail and addressing what he refers to as the "third worldification" of American cities. He argues that these issues are not simply "soft on crime" but rather a manifestation of classic Marxism, which he claims is a deliberate attempt to undermine the justice system. The host points to D.C. laws, such as those that allow probation for shootings and treat 20-year-olds as juveniles, as evidence of this ideological shift. The episode features an interview clip with Gregory Pemberton, the head of the D.C. Police Union, who expresses his full support for the federal intervention. Pemberton states that D.C.'s crime is "out of control" and that the city council's past policies have "handcuffed police officers," leading to a severe shortage of personnel. The host also connects these domestic issues to international politics, drawing parallels between the D.C. situation and what he describes as the "Venezuela model" of governance, where the ruling party merges with criminal enterprises. The discussion concludes with a look at the president's broader strategy to combat these issues, including his handling of the upcoming Olympics in Los Angeles

Marshal Iwaasa, last seen on November 17, 2019, in Lethbridge, AB, Canada, was attempting to access a storage unit. Earlier that day, he informed his mother he was returning to Calgary to resume his IT studies, though he had not actually re-enrolled. Days later, his burnt-out truck was found on November 23, 2019, at the remote Brian Waddington Hut trailhead near Pemberton, British Columbia, over 1,200 km away. Nearby, items linked to Marshal, including smashed phones, clothing, gaming consoles, and an expired passport, were scattered. His essential belongings, such as phone, laptop, backpack, wallet, and contact lenses, remain missing. The truck showed signs of being stripped. Marshal has not been seen since. It is suggested that this case might be connected to another disappearance.Daniel Reoch, originally from Squamish, faced numerous challenges throughout his life. Raised by his uncle's family in Edmonton due to his mother's drug addiction and eventual murder, he later returned to Squamish, where he had children with his girlfriend. Despite the care he received, Daniel struggled with drug addiction and had frequent encounters with the police. His final days were marked by a mysterious disappearance after being seen intoxicated on a ranch near his reservation. His car was later found abandoned, with his phone inside, on November 25th, 2019—just two days after Marshal's truck was discovered. He wasn't declared missing until January 7th, 2020, raising questions about why his absence wasn't noticed earlier within the small community.Contact us at: weeknightmysteries@gmail.comInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/weeknightmysteriesTikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@weeknightmysteries

94. COVID Retaliation Continues 5 YEARS Later!! | Mark Pemberton | The Feds

State Department law enforcement officer Mark Pemberton joins The Feds this week, detailing the retaliation he has experienced over the past five years. In 2020, Mark refused to sign a statement agreeing to follow CDC guidance outside of work hours. In addition, citing the information given in the package insert, Mark also refused to take the provided COVID-19 tests. For that, in conjunction with the accusation that Mark was a white extremist due to his statement that he wanted to get married and have a family, Mark was labeled an “insider threat.” Five years later, his superiors are currently considering a 6-day suspension for Mark due to his declination of the COVID-19 testing. The government-wide weaponization of disciplinary and administrative processes must be addressed in this current Trump administration. Specifically in Mark's case, the State Department's Office of Special Investigations has a terrible reputation for using abusive administrative and disciplinary techniques for issues that should have resulted in an investigation, not in disciplinary action. Those who refused the COVID protocols, pushing back against the mandates, are still experiencing this weaponization firsthand.Check out Feds For Freedom's SubstackWatch and listen to The Feds on any of these platforms: https://taplink.cc/fedsforfreedomSupport the Work of Feds For Freedom https://www.fedsforfreedom.org/donateFollow Feds For Freedom on Social Media Instagram/X (Twitter)/Facebook: @feds4freedomusa

In this powerful episode of Healthy Waves, host Avik is joined by Dana Pemberton and Colleen Robinson from The Digital Dojo. They unravel how martial arts wisdom and trauma-informed tools like the New Agreement Process (NAP) can help us break free from anxiety loops, shift from busy effort to meaningful action, and cultivate emotional mastery. From redefining discipline as self-love to addressing burnout through somatic release, the conversation blends ancient philosophy with modern neuroscience. It's a conversation about building courage, embracing inspired action, and finding clarity in chaos. About the Guests:Dana Pemberton and Colleen Robinson are co-founders of The Digital Dojo, where they fuse martial arts philosophy with emotional healing and trauma recovery. Dana is the creator of the Black Belt Mind, drawing on over 50 years of martial arts practice to teach embodied resilience and mental strength. Colleen, a practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine, created the New Agreement Process (NAP)—a guided method for rewiring trauma and releasing emotional pain stored in the body. Together, they help people cultivate presence, connection, and authentic choice. Key Takeaways: Good decisions come from alignment with self-worth, not the pursuit of external validation or self-esteem. Inspired discipline is a form of self-respect—choosing values-aligned actions today to honor your future self. Many people confuse effort with progress. True transformation requires intentional, clear action, not just busyness. Burnout often results from unresolved stress stuck in the body. Movement, expression, and acknowledgment are essential for release. The New Agreement Process (NAP) helps individuals reframe past trauma and anxiety through subconscious rewiring—no deep analysis needed, just guided truth. Communication is the foundation of healthy relationships, and “a conflict delayed is a conflict multiplied.” Laughter, transparency, and consistent practice are the pillars of harmony and inner alignment.   Connect with Dana & Colleen:Website: https://www.thedigitaldojo.netTry their free 3-day Mindset Reset and access the first level of the Black Belt Mind and NAP exercises online.   Want to be a guest on Healthy Mind, Healthy Life? What happens when the safety of a corporate job no longer aligns with your deepest aspirations? Steven Pemberton faced this crossroads in 2020 when anxiety attacks signaled he needed a dramatic change. Despite being on track for a six-figure salary as one of the youngest managers at a Fortune 100 company, Steven took the leap into full-time entrepreneurship—only to have Amazon shut down his account shortly after, leaving him $100,000 in debt with a warehouse full of unsellable inventory.Rather than retreating to corporate security, Steven and his wife pivoted to Shopify with Facebook Marketplace as their acquisition channel. The results speak volumes: from $5,000 in their first month to over a million dollars annually within 18 months. Along the way, they've built Elevatum, an e-commerce growth consultancy helping brands scale holistically, while creating a giving program that provided Christmas for 137 underprivileged children.Steven offers refreshingly practical advice on entrepreneurial resilience: "You can have emotions—they're like warning lights on your dashboard indicating problems—but you're still holding the steering wheel." He emphasizes the power of systems over individual effort, sharing how they automated their seven-figure business through strategic delegation and spreadsheets before incorporating AI tools that now supercharge their decision-making and client analysis. For those considering a business partnership with their spouse, Steven reveals how complementary roles became their secret weapon—he handles vision and marketing as CEO while his wife excels at systems and operations as COO. The mindset revelation that transformed their approach? Over the last few years I have been lucky enough to have the agency Wonderful Machine suggest a few photographers for the show, and every single time I've been blown away by the level of artists that they represent. Today is one of those times. Today's guest is Ben Girardi, and his work, across all areas from active lifestyle to landscapes, and portraits to sports, is stunningly good. On Ben's website, he refers to himself as a professional commercial and editorial outdoor photographer who tells stories in the outdoor world. Yeah, that's a spot-on description of his body of work, yet... it's so much more than that. His images seem to jump off the page. I've actually spent a good deal of time going through every image on his site, trying to figure out what that magic sauce is, what the common thread is, and I think it's a combination of things. He clearly has a passion for his subjects, and his love of the outdoors allows him to present each image in a way that tells such a concise story. There is also a wonderful, subtle processing that brings emotion to his images. His passion has elevated his craft to a level where he is working with elite athletes, and top global brands. Ben found photography back in high school, and he was instantly hooked. That love for photography, combined with his passion for snowboarding as he started capturing riding with his friends. For a lot of kids that age, that interest would fall off after awhile, being replaced by the next dream, but not for Ben. He graduated from RIT with a degree in photography, and then was off to Utah, looking for bigger mountains. After meeting his Canadian wife in the Argentine Andes he moved to Pemberton, BC. Splitting his time between British Columbia and Utah allows him to work on projects in both of those spots, and anywhere in between. His client list is a Who's Who of outdoor life and sport, working with companies like: Pelican Sport      Whistler Resort      GORE-TEX Head Skies      Vail Resort      and Talisker Whisky Join commercial and editorial outdoor photographer Ben Girardi and me as we discuss dive into how you can up your game with your nighttime outdoor adventure images. Initialement pensée comme un élixir médicinal, sa composition originale incluait du vin, des feuilles de coca et des noix de kola. UK-based Pemberton Asset Management has widened its scope to stay ahead in the increasingly competitive world of private credit. “You’ve got to have a range of products that people think are relevant and attractive,” said Symon Drake-Brockman, the firm’s co-founder and managing partner, referring to net asset value financing, collateralized loan obligations and risk sharing, among other businesses. “We can build large verticals in each one of those strategies,” he tells Bloomberg News’ James Crombie and Silas Brown, and Bloomberg Intelligence’s Jeroen Julius, in the latest Credit Edge podcast. Drake-Brockman and Julius also discuss relative value between US and European private credit, areas of stress and whether US deregulation will boost competition from traditional lenders. “If you’re a chief executive of bank, you’ve got to make sure the pendulum doesn’t swing back the other way in four years’ time,” said Drake-Brockman.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

After opening an investigation into Cindy's death, investigators learned that, for nearly a decade leading up to her death, Cindy James had repeatedly reported to Richmond Police that she was a victim of harassment, stalking, and assault, and had even turned over threatening letters and answering machine messages as evidence of the harassment; yet local police were unable to verify her story or intervene to protect her.At first, Cindy's death appeared to be the inevitable and tragic conclusion of a years'-long campaign of harassment and terror by an unknown stalker; however, when investigators began digging into Cindy's personal history, they discovered evidence that contradicted their initial assumptions and pointed towards a far stranger explanation for her death.Thank you to the incredible Dave White of Bring Me The Axe Podcast for research and writing support! On June 8, 1989, a municipal worker discovered the body of forty-four-year-old Cindy James in the backyard of an abandoned home in Richmond, British Columbia, hogtied and with a woman's stocking wrapped around her neck.
