I'll have another regular episode of the Drinks Adventures podcast to share with you very soon.Right now though I'm stoked to share an interview from another one of my favourite drinks podcasts, The Modern Bar Cart out of the US.The host is a gentleman by the name of Eric Kozlik, who describes his show as a cocktail podcast for home bartenders and industry pros alike. But in spite of that, The Modern Bar Cart really does cover the full gamut of drinks and Eric really has had some amazing guests. This year they've included Sam Calagione, founder of one of America's top craft breweries, Dogfish Head; global rum ambassador, Ian Burrell; and the renowned spirit and cocktail writers David Wondrich and Noah Rothbaum. And today on the Drinks Adventures podcast, I'm sharing Eric's interview with another Eric, the spirits judge and author Eric Zandona, whose new book, "The Atlas of Bourbon & American Whiskey” is out now.I learnt so much about the different regional styles of American whiskey from this interview – Eric's depth of knowledge on the topic is unparalleled. So I'll leave you to the Erics and after you enjoy this interview, go and subscribe to The Modern Bar Cart Podcast.

Also, in the vein of her hilarious podcast Add to Cart, we analyze our consumerist quirks. Surprise, it’s chaotic! Ever feel like you're working so freaking hard at "getting it together", leveling up, building the life of your dreams, etc... only to have life throw you a curve ball? Say.. a rejection, a change of heart, or even a little global pandemic? As much as we're constantly seeking certainty and control, life is usually anything but. So while we're all STILL smack in the middle of the highly uncertain COVID era, we say it's a great time to get introspective on dealing with the uncomfortable, peculiar in-between. In this episode, Minji sits down with the wildly talented and hilarious Kulap Vilaysack, writer/director and host of Add To Cart Podcast. Together they float on their respective metaphorical life rafts, trying to make sense of this past year, our turbulent society, and our relationships. Kulap shares some wise perspective on navigating a changing and fulfilling career in Hollywood from acting in The Office to becoming a showrunner, even with the common (and crippling) comparison game. She dives into her journey finding her father and discovering her roots in Laos while making her documentary Origin Story. From politics to creating rituals to stay grounded, this is a safe space for anyone out there just trying to get through the day. Same, we got you. Vodka has been the butt of several jokes on this podcast, but there's no denying that it is a spirit that many people love. We here at the Spirit Guide Society, however, were curious as to what it is that separates the good vodka from the bad.To help answer this question, we're crossing the streams with Eric Kozlik's Modern Bar Cart podcast. He's done exhaustive research and put together and amazing piece on the surprisingly wide-ranging topic of this clear spirit. You can (and should) subscribe to his podcast at modernbarcart.com/podcast or wherever you like to listen! Interview with Brian Bagnall, Author “Commodore, A Company on the Edge” Welcome to the Floppy Days Podcast, where old computers survive to tell another tale. My name is Randy Kindig. In the previous couple of episodes, I covered the history of the Vic-20 computer with the help of Neil Harris, Brian Bagnall, and Michael Tomczyk. Although I used some audio clips from each of those gentlemen to walk through the history timeline, I actually have a full-blown interview with each that I want to share with you over the span of three episodes. I’ve already published the interview with Michael Tomczyk, leader of the Vic Commando Team and assistant to Jack Tramiel. Next up, I am publishing the interview with Brian Bagnall, author of the book “Commodore, A Company on the Edge” and who is working on the follow-up book “Commodore: The Amiga Years”. Before we get to that, I will very briefly cover upcoming shows and a bit of feedback, but then we will get right into the interview with Brian Bagnall. Why send a Pac-MAN to do a job when Ms. Pac-Man can do it so much better? Episode 8's game is Atari's 1982 version of Arcade legend MS. PAC-MAN. The gameplay does not disappoint. It looks and sounds about as close to the arcade version as you could get. Sure, the artwork in the manual has Ms. Pac-Man wearing thigh high boots and crimson lipstick, but, then, so am I. Ahem. As always, we'll go beyond the fun of merely playing to dig into the story within the game. Is Ms. Pac-Man looking to pick up where Pac-Man left off? Is she looking for revenge? Is she totally unrelated to Pac-Man an just shares a name because "Pac-Man" is as common a name in their universe as "Smith" is in ours? So many questions. You just better listen.
