Devin met his future business partner Josh while working at a local cocktail bar called No Hard Feelings and soon discovered that they were also neighbors! While drinking one night at one of their home bars, Josh mentioned that he wanted to try to get a dehydrated garnish company started, and pitched it to Devin to partner with him. At first, Devin was skeptical, but for the next three days, it was the only thing he could think about. Devin came up with the name, a design for the logo, and three weeks after that - they were in business! Devin's wife Caitlin was several months pregnant at the time, and from the first time we spoke about having a family Devin always said that he'd want to be part of the Stay at Home Dad's Club. Over a year and a half later, Dad doesn't stay home anymore, but Finn does come to the shop 4/5 days a week and they cherish this special way that they have shaped their lives. Devin feels truly lucky to be able to connect with people in the specific context of this profession, despite the myriad hardships that all hospitality professionals must face on a day-to-day basis.
