Aus der Reihe: Streitfall Drama Inhalt oder Form – Was zuerst da ist Mit Helgard Haug und John von Düffel Moderation: Michael Wolf Wie wird aus einem Stoff ein Theatertext? Gegenwärtige Schreibweisen finden sehr unterschiedliche Antworten auf diese Frage. Während das Drama sein Material in Geschichten organisiert, misstrauen postdramatische Ästhetiken der Ansicht, dass sich prinzipiell jedes Thema mittels Figuren und Konflikten verhandeln ließe. Sie suchen stattdessen stets nach neuen Formen, die oft auch die Grenzen der Bühne neu ausloten. Mit der Regisseurin und Autorin Helgard Haug (Rimini Protokoll) und dem Dramatiker und Dramaturgen John von Düffel begrüßen wir zwei der einflussreichsten Vertreter*innen beider Seiten. In der Diskussion schätzen sie die Potenziale ihrer Ansätze ein, stoßen auf Unvereinbarkeiten und überraschende Berührungspunkte. Helgard Haug hat am Institut für Angewandte Theaterwissenschaft in Gießen studiert, der wichtigsten Ausbildungsstätte für alle jene Formen, die man behelfsmäßig als Postdramatisches Theater bezeichnet. Dort gründete sie gemeinsam mit Stefan Kaegi und Daniel Wetzel das Label Rimini Protokoll, das seit über zwanzig Jahren sehr erfolgreich in verschiedenen Konstellationen arbeitet. The second episode of Diversity Stories consists of an interview with Stefan Kaegi, from the famous artists’ collective Rimini Protokoll, by Janet Schreurs, Barbara Braniff (both students of the International Master Artist Educator at ArtEZ) and Lotte Wandel (who works at that Master). Stefan tells how Rimini Protokoll expands the notion of theatre, about Rimini’s strategies to invite the audience to see the world differently, also from unexpected theatre locations such as a riding truck or your own living room, and about selling all your belongings except for 22 kilo’s in order to travel and be able to survive. Rimini Protokoll is the label for the works of artists Stefan Kaegi, Helgard Haug and Daniel Wetzel. They work in the realm of theatre, sound and radio plays, film and installation. They produced an impressive amount of works of art, for which they won many prizes. Stefan Kaegi was one of the presenters during the event HOME on 8 November 2019 in Zwolle, and in the afternoon he was interviewed by Janet, Barbara and Lotte. Stefan Kaegi, mednarodno uveljavljen interdisciplinarni umetnik v svojem delu uprizarja žive ready-made ali pa strokovnjake premesti na oder in v sivo cono med realnostjo in fikcijo, pri čemer uporablja dokumentarno gradivo in gledališke intervencije. Kaegi bo prikazal in komentiral kratke videe o nedavni produkciji skupine Rimini Protokoll z egiptovskimi mujezini, švicarskimi letališkimi otroki in 200 avatarji, ki jih je daljinsko vodilo kanadsko občinstvo. Stefan Kaegi (Švica) je gledališki režiser, ki se ukvarja s teatralnostjo v vsakdanjem življenju. Njegovo delo je odsev dokumentarističnega gledališča, radijske oddaja in dela v urbanih okoljih v raznolikih kolektivnih sodelovanjih. Pri svojem delu uporablja raziskovalno metodo, avdicije in konceptualne procese, ki v želji, da so njihovi glasovi slišani prejmejo statust strokovnjakov. Član je RIMINI PROTOKOLL-a, umetniške ekipe, v kateri poleg njega sodelujeta še Helgard Haug in Daniel Wetzel in ustvarjajo raznolike projekte, s katerimi gostujejo po vsem svetu.
