We return with a treat. Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie was a great player but an ever better storyteller and entertainer. On this episode he chops it up with Bryant McFadden about his football journey. Just like the dynamic on All Things Covered, DRC grew up in a football family with his older cousin Antonio Cromartie and little cousin Isaiah Rodgers (currently on the Colts) making it to the league. He explains what that instilled in him from a young age. Dominique also explains how he ended up at Tennessee State and the motivation he received while playing at an HBCU. Rodgers-Cromartie remembers racing Chris Johnson and realizing there might be someone faster than him. We hear about DRC's rookie season with the Cardinals which went great until Ben Roethlisberger connected with Santonio Holmes in the back of the end zone in Super Bowl 43. Boo-ray tales make a return to the show as DRC and BMac tell some great stories from the Cardinals locker room. The conversation continues to cover different teams DRC played for including the 'Dream Team' Eagles, 2013 Broncos who lost to the Seahawks in the Super Bowl and the Giants during Odell Beckham Jr.'s polarizing rookie season. Our 2-time Pro Bowler of a guest answers if he'd consider returning to the NFL before diving into Superlatives! Episode 12 features my interview with Coach Rick Courtright, veteran coach with over 30 years of experience ranging from High School to the NFL. Starting as a youngster in Miami Florida, Rick developed a love for the game early on. A strong career at Miami Christian led him to play at (D-III) Wheaton College in Illinois. He later made the decision to get into coaching and was fortunate to work for some great mentors! He coached for Don James at the University of Washington, where he was part of two Pac-10 Championship staffs, two Rose Bowls and the 1991 National Championship. Coach Courtright had the distinction of being appointed by legendary Baylor Coach Grant Teaff to the inaugural Foundation Committee of the AFCA.During his distinguished career, Rick has coached collegiately at multiple levels and schools, which ultimately led him to the Arizona Cardinals staff from 2004 to 2010. At Arizona, Rick coached under both Denny Green and Ken Whisenhunt and was the Asst Defensive Backs coach for the 2008 NFC West Championship team that went to Super Bowl 43. He has coached such notable Pro Bowlers as Adrian Wilson, Antrel Rolle, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Bertrand Berry.Intro music "Next Level" used under license by Composer Rujay Torres.

The Porkcast Boys are back, albeit a little undermanned with Bryan, Neal and Chris having a good old fashioned sit down to try to digest and take stock of the first two weeks of the offseason. We mourn the loss of Odell Beckham Jr. in his departure from the NFC East but turn our attention closer to home to discuss the Redskins maneuvers through free agency. In our newest (and thus far only) segment, we go thumbs up/ thumbs down with a “Hail Yeah!/ Hail Naw!” and ask some of the important questions: What does Landon Collins’ signing mean for the Redskins defensive secondary? After presumably sipping some Pina coladas in the second half of the season can Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie be a helpful addition after coming out of retirement? What were our favorite Jamison Crowder memories? What does bringing back Adrian Peterson mean for what on paper is a very crowded and talented backfield? And who on earth is Case Keenum going to throw the ball to? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

JP Finlay, Mitch Tischler, & Pete Hailey respond to the report from The Sports Junkies that Jay Gruden has not been consulted on the offseason moves. How significant is this if true? Then they look into the wacky Instagram action over the weekend by Stefon Diggs' brother, which of course spurs a conversation regarding their WR situation. Finally, they touch on the signing of Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. If you like podcasts about JP's latest version of withdrawal and where Pete shakes off the cobwebs from his Gruden impression, then this is the episode for you.REMINDER: Send your mailbag questions to redskinstalkmailbag@gmail.com

While the Redskins were quiet during the opening hours of the free agency tampering period, this episode of Redskins Talk is anything but quiet. JP Finlay, Rich Tandler, Mitch Tischler and Pete Hailey got together for this all-encompassing pod, one that touched on everything from how Muhammad Wilkerson could really elevate the team's defensive line (at what cost, though?) to how important Paul Richardson is becoming now that Allen Robinson is off the board to if Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie is a corner worth investing in even at age 31. If you like podcasts where Tandler is proven wrong and where a bunch of storylines are discussed in just 30 minutes, then this is the episode for you.
Yanks one win away from the WORLD SERIES! Jeremy Lin injured in season opener. Didn't look good. Dana White called Jon Jones biggest waste of talent in sports. DAMN.
Lots of talk about facial hair this week but it's Week 6 in the NFL and PodVader is joined by Neil (Redskins), James (Eagles), Kevin (Cowboys), Andy (Dolphins) and MJ (Falcons) to preview all the latest happenings. But first...Jerry Jones had some interesting things to say regarding players that take a knee during the National Anthem. We don't get into the politics of it (we did that 2 weeks ago - check out the archives on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, www.blogtalkradio.com/nextfanup). We do discuss what this means for the league from a commercial standpoint and the impact this topic is having on the league. (We recorded before the news on Ezekiel Elliott came down.)Next, the Giants lost 3 of their 4 starting WRs last week. They're suspending Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. What is going on with the 0-5 Giants?Adrian Peterson is traded to the Cardinals - is he done?Tyler Eifert will have his third back surgery - is he done?3 SuperFan Battles this week kick off around the 32min mark:Packers/Vikings | Rams/Jaguars | Steelers/ChiefsAround 1hour and 6mins, the guys make their picks. PodVader warns this is the week to avoid gambling if you can because these games look lopsided, and the point spreads will be tricky.
