Hour 1 Jerry and Al are in for Boomer and Gio today. The Mets beat the Nationals in 10 innings to get back to .500 and avoid a 3 game losing streak. Tyler Jay almost blew the game for the Mets and Al wonders how long players keep their MLB dreams alive. It depends on how much money they make in the minors. Brandon Nimmo slipped and cut his head in the team hotel. Is this fishy or not fishy? What would happen if Al suffered a similar injury? Welfare checks on Al can be difficult. CLo is here for his first update of the day and begins with the Mets extra-inning win. We get to the bottom of something Keith Hernandez said on SNY. Al once saw Boomer nude in the Yankee Stadium locker room. Al bailed on the postgame shower. Isaiah Hartenstein is on his way to Oklahoma City. In the final segment of the hour, Jerry quizzes Al on songs associated with sports teams now that “OMG” is becoming the anthem for the 2024 Mets. Hour 2 We have confirmation that Aaron Rodgers was in Egypt. Al has some thoughts on what the trip was like. Antonio Cromartie is back with the Jets as a coach. The man who designed the Jets logo in the 70s wants to get paid because they are bringing a similar version back. We talk about how video games have evolved. CLo returns for an update but first Jerry believes he's the longest-tenured on-air person at the station until we remember there's one person who has been here longer. The Mets got back on track in D.C. Brandon Nimmo slipped in the bathroom. Do you sit to pee in the dark? The Rangers have to figure out what to do with Jacob Trouba. When it comes to dating, Shannon Sharpe only plays home games after a close call over 30 years ago. In the final segment of the hour, Jerry wonders why he can't get into soccer the way many American sports fans have. Hour 3 We continue the soccer conversation. Callers explain to Jerry and Al why they love the sport. CLo returns for an update and begins with the Mets win. Jerry wants Dedniel Nunez to close. The Mets veterans have nothing but praise for youngsters Francisco Alvarez and Mark Vientos. The USMNT suffered a big loss last night. Al doesn't like that penalty kicks are just a guessing game. “Hawk Tuah” girl finally revealed that most of the rumors going around about her are total nonsense. Al believes “Hawk Tuah” girl is another sign of the world crumbling around us. In the final segment of the hour, Al shares weird posts from his “For You” feed on X. Jerry says you can find just about anything on YouTube. Hour 4 The Mets are in the thick of a playoff hunt and will have to make big decisions before the trade deadline. Al doesn't like having to choose between being buyers or sellers. The biggest question for the Mets is what to do with Pete Alonso. CLo returns for an update but first we discuss how far is too far to pick someone up at the airport. Donovan Mitchell signed an extension in Cleveland. The Mets almost had an epic meltdown that reminded us of other classic Mets meltdowns and the great Mike Francesa reactions they produced. The Moment of The Day involves Al not wanting to stick around the locker room after playing in a charity softball game at Yankee Stadium. In the final segment of the show, Jerry gives credit to the Mets for finding a potential star and then Al and Jerry debate the value of certain HR balls. What places are entirely safe?

Not great Bob! Mavs suck, tell your friends… Just kidding sports fans, “the series doesn't start until game 2.” Glad that's over, shake it off, regroup, coach ‘em up, run new plays, lessons learned…blah blah blah. In other sports, the Edmonton Oilers are in the Stanley Cup representing our neighbors to the North. They'll face the Florida Panthers (yes that's a team), starting Saturday. We're 40% through the baseball season, they grow up so fast. There are only four teams in the NL with a record of .500 or better, while the AL has NINE. Can Charley Hull outsmoke John Daly? The Florida State Seminoles hope to land 5-star recruit Zaquan Patterson, and soon. Breaking down the latest information with one of Florida State's biggest remaining recruiting targets, that's the crux of this podcast.  The safety is the last of the elite Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna players to make his college announcement, and I've learned that's about to change. To be clear, no specific date has been released by Patterson. Still, look for that decision to come soon and there are multiple reasons – discussed within this podcast – to believe that Patterson is strongly considering the Noles to be his college choice. Directly related, FSU's already incredible defensive back class with KJ Bolden, Charles Lester, CJ Heard, and Ricky Knight also links back to Florida State's glory days as “DB U.” Elite players like Deion Sanders, Leroy Butler, Corey Sawyer, Antonio Cromartie and Terrell Buckley all have played for the Garnet and Gold. They were a major part of a dynasty in Tallahassee. This group of defensive backs can help lead the Noles back to when FSU's secondary was elite almost every season. Finally, this episode will be a breakdown of How FSU's current cornerbacks, like Renardo Green and Fentrell Cypress, have a huge task ahead of them with the LSU Tigers coming down to Orlando to take on the Seminoles.  Statistically, when LSU's rushing attack was minimized last season, a big part of that would be teams like Florida State, Tennessee and Georgia doing an excellent job at cornerback, especially in critical moments. The key against LSU, slowing down star wide receiver Malik Nabers (see the prior episode for even more about this future NFL prospect). Thus, the rest of the defenders could focus more on slowing down the LSU rushing attack. It's a jammed pack episode kicked off with recruiting news and a backend discussing the upcoming FSU versus LSU matchup. Check it out! Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors! Still, look for that decision to come soon and there are multiple reasons – discussed within this podcast – to believe that Patterson is strongly considering the Noles to be his college choice.Directly related, FSU's already incredible defensive back class with KJ Bolden, Charles Lester, CJ Heard, and Ricky Knight also links back to Florida State's glory days as “DB U.” Elite players like Deion Sanders, Leroy Butler, Corey Sawyer, Antonio Cromartie and Terrell Buckley all have played for the Garnet and Gold. We return with a treat. Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie was a great player but an ever better storyteller and entertainer. On this episode he chops it up with Bryant McFadden about his football journey. Just like the dynamic on All Things Covered, DRC grew up in a football family with his older cousin Antonio Cromartie and little cousin Isaiah Rodgers (currently on the Colts) making it to the league. He explains what that instilled in him from a young age. Dominique also explains how he ended up at Tennessee State and the motivation he received while playing at an HBCU. Rodgers-Cromartie remembers racing Chris Johnson and realizing there might be someone faster than him. We hear about DRC's rookie season with the Cardinals which went great until Ben Roethlisberger connected with Santonio Holmes in the back of the end zone in Super Bowl 43. Boo-ray tales make a return to the show as DRC and BMac tell some great stories from the Cardinals locker room. The conversation continues to cover different teams DRC played for including the 'Dream Team' Eagles, 2013 Broncos who lost to the Seahawks in the Super Bowl and the Giants during Odell Beckham Jr.'s polarizing rookie season. Our 2-time Pro Bowler of a guest answers if he'd consider returning to the NFL before diving into Superlatives!
