David Waldman is back with today's KITM, which you'd expect, but when have you heard Greg Dworkin so many days in a row? Can the internet take so much amusement and erudition? It's morning in America. Who would have guessed that patriotism and joy would turn out to be such a popular combination? Ok, Oprah helped, but it couldn't have happened without All-American Dad, Coach Tim Walz. It's certainly not weird that Tim would have such an All-American family. And you know what? I thought Bill was terrific. He's no rising star hot shot like Hillary, but still… All of this puts Kamala Harris right about where she wants to be heading into her acceptance speech tonight. At least it puts her where Republicans don't want her to be, which is good for a start, and a good place to start picking up a few more points real soon. You won't find a more lunatic pillow mogul than Mike Lindell, but this week you can refuse to accept cheap imitations! Mike, cleverly disguised as Roger Stone, successfully infiltrated the DNC, only to be spotted by alert pre-teen influencer Knowa De Brasco, who kicked Lindell in the shins for a while before realizing that Mr. Pillow was filled with more crap than foam rubber. Mike tried to insanesplain to the young man with his usual Gish Gallop, but Knowa ran out of pity and walked away. Meanwhile, uncommitted pro-Palestinian delegates signal that they would fully support the Harris ticket ,but so far have not signaled that they would behave themselves if they were allowed on stage.

If debates make you cringe, you aren't alone1 Dr. Sturg breaks down how the way televised debates are structured benefits media and benefits candidates, but generally isn't that great for the audience. Journalists can't do a good job as both a journalist and a moderator at the same time, and the financial model for news doesn't incentivize them to try. And for candidates, using misleading tactics like the Gish Gallop and throwing barbs makes it more likely that they will stay in the news for longer.      This week I  am going to discuss the Gish Gallop aka how to shovel BULLSHIT as fast as possible in the poltiical sphere--and how to counter it. Trump and his GOP have become experts at the art of throwing bullshit at opponents. They do it to avoid the public discovery that Trump knows NOTHING. This propaganda technique is also known as the Gish Gallop. It has been used by fascist parties for decades and now the GOP of Trump has embraced it for the last 7 years as its unofficial pledge to duty.   We have a new initiate into PNN's DEPLORABLE List.  The Jackass of the Week Award will also be announced!

How does a narcissist ARGUE? What is a narcissists favorite technique they use to argue? Have you ever heard the term Gish Gallop? It's a technique that narcissists use to start multiple arguments in order to exhaust you and distract you from the main point or argument. This technique is also referred to as "The Starting Small Fires" Technique Welcome my channel! If this is your first time seeing my face or hearing my voice, my name is Lee and I am a self aware narcissist. I have narcissistic personality disorder ( NPD ) and I've been in therapy for my personality disorder since 2017 and it has definitely changed my life because without it, I would have lost everything. The point of these videos is to help bring awareness from the other side of the narcissistic *buse spectrum. All my videos give perspective on why many narcissists do what they do and the possible different reasons behind them. The victims and survivors get validation and the Narcissists (those that are willing) get to see that you can get help and that you are not alone. Noah highlights the importance of steering the economy to ensure that industries align with national goals and priorities. Bird questions the effectiveness of industrial policy, especially in developed countries. He argues that market forces and competition should determine the allocation of resources, rather than government intervention. Where do you stand?
