Se trata de un logro sin precedentes en nuestro país y probablemente en Europa. Esta es una especie tropical, que habita desde el Mar Rojo hasta el Pacifico oriental. Tenemos un depositor pelágico que libera los gametos en la columna de agua durante la noche, por lo que hemos de recolectar los huevos a la mañana siguiente en una red especialmente diseñada para este fin. Tras la eclosión, las pequeñas larvas son alimentadas en nuestra cuarentena con distintas especies de zooplancton, hasta que poco a poco se van desarrollando y convirtiéndose en juveniles con una morfología y comportamiento completamente diferente. Muy pronto se podrán ver en el Acuario con el resto de sus congéneres.”

Per questo vive lontana da tutti, sulla piccola isola di Yururi di cui è l'unica abitante: l'odore degli altri esseri umani è per lei tanto forte da risultare insopportabile. Il contrario di Kaori – raffinata, eterea, fatata – è Alfredo, suo coetaneo che vive nella casa dei genitori a Lecce. I due dovranno collaborare a distanza per cercare una persona che non si trova più: una ricerca che vedrà Alfredo muoversi tra Barcellona, Berlino e Torino. Questo rapporto improbabile sarà fonte di cambiamento: nella giovane giapponese nascerà per la prima volta il desiderio di un incontro; Alfredo imparerà a osservare con più attenzione ogni cosa intorno a lui, riscoprirà la potenza dei  suoi cinque sensi, rimasti intorpiditi per troppo tempo.Spiega l'Autore: «Questo romanzo viaggia a due velocità. A Gold Medal Global Music Award Winner, Opus Klassik Nominee, and Yamaha Performing Artist, Bowden works diligently to establish a new repertoire for the trumpet through creative, collaborative commissioning projects and award-winning albums.Highlights of Bowden's recent seasons include her debut with the Santa Fe Symphony, as well as prominent engagements with major international ensembles. During the 2022/2023 season, she performed as a soloist with the Busan Maru International Music Festival Orchestra in Korea and toured five cities in Argentina, performing Assad's Bohemian Queen with the Shenandoah Conservatory Orchestra. She served as faculty at the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival in summer 2022. Other recent performances include four world premiere concertos. London’s Night Tapes are set to release their hotly-anticipated debut album,  portals//polarities, on September 26. While we wait, they’ve given us “Pacifico,” a trip hop-flavored number inspired by a friend’s journey to Oaxaca. It’s a state of mind that we all need to reach. (Crate-diggers may also recognize the Billy Cobham sample from Souls of Mischief’s “93 ’Til Infinity.”)
