Stewart's Ice Cream Bracket Challenge is finally here! Avery and Isla join Beard Laws as we raid the freezer, grab 8 random Stewart's Ice Cream pints, and put them through the ultimate taste test tournament to crown the best Stewart's ice cream flavor. From Cookies & Cream and Moose Trail to Happy Camper, Bark in the Dark, Sugar Shack Swirl, and more, every flavor had to survive our family bracket challenge. Some favorites dominated, some surprise underdogs pulled off huge upsets, and one Stewart's Ice Cream flavor walked away as champion. If you're a Stewart's Shops fan, ice cream lover, or someone searching for the best Stewart's ice cream flavor, this episode is for you. What's In The Fridge This Week? • Stewart's Ice Cream taste test • Family food challenge and bracket tournament • Honest snack review and flavor rankings • Taste Test 2026 family edition • Funny family food vlog moments This week we headed to Stewart's Shops in Heuvelton, New York and took advantage of their pint sale. With limited flavors available, we randomly selected eight different Stewart's Ice Cream pints and built a March Madness-style bracket to determine which flavor deserves the crown. Would Cookies & Cream live up to the hype? Could Bark in the Dark pull off a massive upset? Would Happy Camper make us happy? Or would a dark horse flavor steal the championship? You'll have to watch to find out. Stay Outta My Fridge is the show where the kids take over the kitchen. Join Beard Laws, Avery, and Isla for the most chaotic food reviews on the internet. Every week we test snacks, drinks, candy, fast food, desserts, and weird food finds while sharing funny family moments along the way. Locked and Probably Loaded with DJ Qualls & Kelly Blackheart — chaos, camp, and candid confessions. In this episode DJ and Kelly riff on late-night movie nostalgia (A Chorus Line, Heathers), awkward theater memories, and the weird joy of revisiting cult favorites. They swap stories from emo nights at the Avalon, run-ins with fans, and drunkenly delightful takes on holiday/Hallmark comfort-watching — all with the show's signature absurdity and heart. Then the pair dive into modern annoyances: crushed Walmart chips (complete with Kelly's AI-made “microwaved crumbs” song), #mustardlife confessions (yes, there's a secret mustard compartment), public parenting pet peeves, and the creeping absurdity of AI — from gaslighting chatbots to fake-cry reality stars. Gateways: What Lay Beyond. Back in late 2001, Pocket Books published the most epic crossover event to date: Gateways. With six novels spanning the eras from The Original Series to Voyager, the series brought together multiple authors to tell stories utilizing the gateways created by the mysterious Iconians. And the hook for the series was that each story was to end with a cliffhanger, culminating in one giant hardcover with six short stories to conclude the series. In this episode of Literary Treks, hosts Casey Pettitt and Jonathan Koan discuss the final book, What Lay Beyond. They discuss the good, the bad, and the ugly, and talk about their vision for the series were it to be written today. In episode 41, we discuss Jungo, Trio, and Combo – all three published by Happy Camper. First, we chat about what is bringing us joy: Dungeons & Kittens, Ostia, Sweet Lands, and Skull King. On this episode, Becky, Reed, and Gillean prepared a special joy segment called: Ambush Angela!Jungo, Trio, and Combo are all brightly colored card games that play in 15-20 minutes or less. We love that Happy Camper is taking harder to find games and reimplementing them to reach a greater audience!Jungo (2-5 players) is a reimplementation of Hachi Train with a jungle theme. In this game, players are racing to be the first to empty their hand of cards. To shed cards, players must be able to overplay the card or set of cards last played. This is done by playing a higher value or a larger set of cards (for example, three 1s beat two 2s.) The fun part is balancing shedding cards to win and adding cards to your hand to build a better hand. Cards can never be rearranged, but when a card is added by either drawing a card instead of playing or by beating the cards on the table, it can be placed anywhere in the hand. Trio (3-6 players) is a reimplementation of Nana (one of our top collective favorites!!!) In Trio, players are trying to be the first to collect three sets of matching cards (three 1s, three 9s, three 10s, etc…) or all three 7s to win the game. Trio introduces a team playing variant and makes the winning condition of collecting two sets that add or subtract to 7 (4s and 11s, 5s and 2s, etc.)Combo (2-6 players) is a reimplementation of Surfosaurus MAX. In Combo, players work together to create different smoothie combos–the easiest being a collection of any combination of suits and numbers to the trickiest being a run in a single suit. Gameplay is simple: play a card and draw a card until all players have played two or three cards (depending upon the number of players.) Players score if their card contributes to the winning combo; there are some fun nuances here! The game ends after everyone has been the starting player an equal number of times (depending on player count), and the player with the most points wins!Get to know us @ https://lnk.bio/BoardGameHomies

In this enlightening episode of "The Addicted Mind," hosts Duane Osterlind and Eric Osterlind dive into the fascinating world of the four archetypes of happiness based on the work of Dr. Tal Ben-Shahar. These archetypes offer a roadmap for understanding happiness and its pivotal role in addiction recovery. The discussion spans the spectrum from the "Rat Racer," who postpones present joy for future gains, to the "Hedonist," who seeks immediate gratification without pondering future consequences. The hosts also examine the "Nihilist," who doubts the very possibility of happiness, and ultimately, the "Happy Camper," who balances immediate pleasure with long-term goals—the ideal state for sustainable recovery. This episode not only decodes these archetypes but also provides insights into how adopting the Happy Camper mindset can enhance one's recovery journey and overall life satisfaction.
