Interview by Angela CroudaceOne of the architects of The Gothenburg Sound, Dark Tranquillity are about to storm Australian shores for the first time in over a decade, delivering three exclusive shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. The masters of melodic death metal emerged from Sweden's west coast in the early '90s, alongside titans like In Flames, At The Gates, and Soilwork. Known for their genre-defining mix of razor-sharp riffs, icy keyboards, and Mikael Stanne's haunting vocals, the band melds death metal intensity with gothic and progressive experimentation. Through 13 albums, including iconic releases The Gallery, Character, and their latest, 2024's Endgame Signals, Dark Tranquillity has forged a sound that is as melancholic and thought provoking as it is ferocious.Joining Dark Tranquillity for their momentous return are Melbourne's own melodic metal heavyweights, Eye of the Enemy. Renowned for their crushing riffs and soaring melodies, Eye of the Enemy has earned accolades including a Global Metal Apocalypse Award and numerous Album of the Year mentions. With a history of international tours and supporting the who's who of metal's elite, they're the perfect complement to Dark Tranquillity's atmospheric mastery.Dark Tranquillity will dig deep from their rich catalogue to deliver a sonic journey through the past, present, and future of melodic death metal, but just to make sure, HEAVY caught up with vocalist Mikael Stanne just days out from the first show of the tour.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/heavy-music-interviews--2687660/support.

Here are some of the key points discussed: Throne was founded in 2014 by frontman Nathan Barnes and drummer Kollin Perpignani. Throne's lineup consists of Nathan on guitars and vocals, Tim on guitars, Leslie on bass, and Kollin on drums. The band members discuss how they came together and the dynamics within the group. Throne's music is influenced by bands like Suffocation, Hate Eternal, Belphegor, Dark Funeral, and Angelcorpse. Their sound is a unique blend of blackened death metal that has captivated and crushed audiences. Nathan and Tim discuss how they develop and dictate their songs, including the patterns and riffs they use and how they decide when to include solos. Throne has released several acclaimed works, including their debut EP "Altar of the Dying" and their full-length album "Pestilent Dawn." - **Altar of the Dying (EP)**: Released on July 30, 2018, this EP was produced, mixed, and engineered by Andy Nelson at Bricktop Studios in Chicago, IL. The album art and layout were created by Brian Shehan at Legerdemain Art. The band discusses standout tracks like "Not of Shadow Nor Fog," "Heresy of the Highest Order," and "Covenant of Darkness." - **Pestilent Dawn**: Released on April 9, 2021, this album showcases Throne's mastery of the genre. All music and lyrics were written and performed by Throne, with guest contributions from notable artists. The band delves into the making of this album, highlighting tracks like "Beyond Malice," "Amongst Sinners," and "All Creation Wept." Throne has built a reputation for their powerful live performances, sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in extreme metal. The band talks about their recent performances, including a run with Assimilator and a tour with Morta Skuld. Throne shares some of their most memorable live experiences, both good and bad, and what they have learned from them. The band discusses their approach to recording and mixing, including the importance of achieving the right bass tone and the unique ways they blend vocals and guitars. Nathan and Kollin share insights into their practice routines and how they maintain their technical proficiency and tightness as a band. The band members talk about their involvement in other musical projects and how they manage their time between them. Throne has big plans for the future, including new music and more live performances. The band talks the new album and discusses the direction they plan to take with their future releases. For the first episode of 2024 we're going back almost 30 years to 1995 to completely ignore britpop and talk about much, much better music that was happening at the same time. We've each chosen our 10 favourite songs of the year and sent them over to Colin's wife Helen, who put the playlists together and distributed them so we were each given a playlist of the 20 songs from the other two hosts, along with our own 10. We then ranked the playlists in order of preference and sent them back to Helen, who totalled up the points and worked out the order. She also joined us on the episode to read out the countdown, which we found out as we recorded so all reactions are genuine. Now, admittedly, in parts we're a little bit brutal to some of the songs in the list as we're three separate people with differing music tastes, but please remember that to be in this episode at all the songs have to have been in one of our top 10's of that year. Bands featured in this episode include (In alphabetical order, no spoilers here!) - At The Gates, Bjork, Cathedral, Clutch, Dubstar, Faith No More, Fear Factory, Foo Fighters, Fugazi, Garbage, Green Day, Emmylou Harris, The Jayhawks, Low, My Dying Bride, Paradise Lost, Radiohead, The Smashing Pumpkins, Smog, Spacehog, Sparklehorse, Strapping Young Lad, Matthew Sweet, Teenage Fanclub, Therapy?, Tindersticks, Whale, White Zombie, The Wildhearts, & Yo La Tengo. This episode is dedicated to the memory of the legendary music journalist and bloody lovely bloke Neil Kulkarni who sadly and suddenly passed away last week. You may know Neil from the Chart Music Podcast, from his writing for Melody Maker, Kerrang, Vox, The Quietus, Plan B, Metal Hammer, DJ Mag & more, or you may have heard him when he guested on Colin & Ian's other podcast Free With This Months Issue in August last year. The scoring of our own list of 10 is now slightly more complicated in order to give a truer level of points to our own favourites. Formed in 1991 during the zenith of the death metal explosion, this American trio has matured into one of the premier acts in the global death metal and grindcore scenes. Known for their relentless sonic assault, innovative song structures, and thought-provoking lyrics, Dying Fetus has become synonymous with uncompromising death metal excellence. The band was originally founded in Maryland by guitarist and vocalist John Gallagher, along with guitarist Nick Speleos and drummer Jason Netherton. Dying Fetus quickly gained recognition for their brutal live performances and ferocious musicality. Their early years were marked by a series of demos, culminating in their 1995 debut album, "Infatuation with Malevolence." This release showcased their blend of technical virtuosity and savage aggression, setting the stage for what would become a storied career. As the band evolved, they solidified their lineup with John Gallagher as the sole remaining founding member, joined by musicians who would contribute significantly to the band's signature sound. The lineup changes didn't deter their musical progression; instead, they pushed forward, refining their craft with each release.Dying Fetus' discography is a testament to their commitment to musical excellence. Albums like "Purification Through Violence" (1996), "Killing On Adrenaline" (1998), and "Destroy The Opposition" (2001) firmly established the band as a force to be reckoned with in the death metal world. These records showcased their technical proficiency and songwriting prowess, earning them a devoted fan base. The band's lyrical content, while often unflinchingly brutal, delves into sociopolitical themes, reflecting a desire to provoke thought and discussion. This intellectual approach sets Dying Fetus apart, as their music engages both the visceral and the cerebral aspects of the listener's experience. In 2003, Dying Fetus released "Stop At Nothing," a record that further solidified their status as death metal giants. This album featured crushing riffs, intricate drum work, and visceral vocals, garnering critical acclaim and expanding their global fan base."War Of Attrition" (2007), "Descend Into Depravity" (2009), and "Reign Supreme" (2012) continued the band's tradition of delivering punishing death metal with technical finesse. Each album showcased their evolution as musicians and songwriters, drawing in new listeners while satisfying long-time fans.Their 2017 release, "Wrong One to Fuck With," was hailed as a "menacing motherfucker" by Metal InjectiThis episode is sponsored by www.betterhelp.com/TheBarn and presented to you by The Barn Media Group.

Formed in 1989 by the formidable force of John McEntee (guitar, vocals), the band has carved a nightmarish path through the realms of death metal, establishing themselves as pioneers of the genre. With relentless brutality, haunting atmospheres, and lyrics that delve into the macabre, Incantation has become a revered name among death metal aficionados.Incantation's origins can be traced to the fertile death metal scene of Pennsylvania, where they emerged alongside other iconic bands like Immolation and Mortician. From their early days, the band's mission was clear: to create the most uncompromising and darkly atmospheric death metal possible. With influences ranging from Morbid Angel to Autopsy, they set out to craft a sound that was unrelenting in its intensity.Their debut album, "Onward to Golgotha," released in 1992, was a revelation in the death metal underground. It showcased their mastery of churning, guttural riffs, thunderous drumming, and McEntee's demonic growls. The album's relentless assault and eerie, occult-themed lyrics struck a chord with fans of extreme music, earning it a place among the genre's classics. What sets Incantation apart is their unwavering dedication to sonic malevolence. Throughout their career, they've released a string of albums that each feels like a descent into the abyss. Albums like "Mortal Throne of Nazarene" (1994), "Diabolical Conquest" (1998), and "The Infernal Storm" (2000) continued to push the boundaries of brutality and darkness, earning them a devout following in the underground.Over the years, the band's lineup has seen its share of changes, with McEntee being the sole constant member. This has allowed Incantation to evolve while staying true to their core sound. They've collaborated with a rotating cast of exceptional musicians, each contributing to the band's infernal vision. In 2017, Incantation released "Profane Nexus," an album that reaffirmed their status as titans of death metal. With tracks like "Rites of the Locust" and "Messiah Nostrum," they demonstrated that their ability to conjure unholy soundscapes had not waned over the years.Incantation's enduring legacy in death metal is a testament to their dedication to the genre's roots and their fearless exploration of its darkest corners. They've inspired countless bands and continue to be a vital force in the evolution of extreme music. With each release, Incantation reaffirms their status as masters of unholy death metal, summoning aural nightmares that resonate with those who seek the depths of musical darkness. This episode is sponsored by www.betterhelp.com/TheBarn and presented to you by The Barn Media Group.

Sponsored by www.betterhelp.com/TheBarnhttps://www.creepingdeath.net/Introducing their latest single, "The Common Breed," Texas-based death metal practitioners CREEPING DEATH are ready to rock the metal scene. Accompanied by a captivating music video, this track is part of their highly anticipated Boundless Domain LP, slated for release on June 16th via MNRK Heavy.Produced by Adam Dutkiewicz, guitarist of Killswitch Engage and renowned for his work with bands like As I Lay Dying, The Acacia Strain, and Underoath, Boundless Domain is a sophomore album that exudes immense power, depth, and intensity. From start to finish, it delivers a relentless onslaught of heavy riffs and is guaranteed to captivate metal fans. In the wake of the unfortunate passing of local heroes Riley Gale of Power Trip and Wade Allison of Iron Age, the band members—guitarist Trey Pemberton, singer Reese Alavi, bassist Eric "Rico" Mejia, drummer Lincoln Mullins, and guitarist A.J. Ross, III—found inspiration in revisiting their favorite metallic hardcore influences. Boundless Domain features future death metal classics such as the crushingly heavy and fast-paced "Intestinal Wrap," featuring George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher of Cannibal Corpse. Another standout track, "Vitrified Earth," showcases CREEPING DEATH's impressive songwriting skills, with Alavi's vocal delivery demonstrating impeccable cadence and phrasing, all while maintaining a brutal edge. Towards the end of the album, listeners can expect a touch of atmospheric elements, with mesmerizing guitar effects, harmonies, and intricate time signatures.Speaking about their latest single, "The Common Breed," Pemberton shares, "This music video perfectly captures the energy of a CREEPING DEATH live show. It was a blast to make, and we are grateful to all our friends and family who came out and went wild for us." After a successful European/UK tour supporting Revocation and Goatwhore earlier this year, followed by a recent North American run supporting Carcass, Municipal Waste, and Sacred Reich, CREEPING DEATH is ready to hit the road again with the Boundless Domain Summer 2023 tour. This headlining tour will consist of two parts and will feature support from two different groups. Part 1 kicks off on June 16th in San Antonio, Texas, coinciding with the release of their new LP, and will cover the Western half of the United States, concluding on July 1st in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Joining CREEPING DEATH for Part 1 will be Year Of The Knife, Fleshrot, and Saintpeeler. After a brief break, the band will embark on Part 2 of the Boundless Domain Summer 2023 tour on July 10th in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This leg of the tour will see CREEPING DEATH conquering the Eastern half of the country until July 21st, concluding in Fort Worth, Texas. Enforced will join them on select dates during Part 2, along with Upon Stone and Saintpeeler. Tickets for the tour are now available for purchase on creepingdeath.net. Check out the list of confirmed tour dates below and make sure to catch CREEPING DEATH's electrifying performances. In the realm of heavy metal, there exists a subgenre that pushes the boundaries of intensity, aggression, and sheer brutality. It is a sonic onslaught that evokes a visceral reaction, both captivating and polarizing listeners. This genre is none other than Death Metal.Emerging in the early 1980s, death metal carved its own path in the metal landscape, distinct from its predecessor, thrash metal. While thrash focused on speed and technicality, death metal delved into darker territories, exploring themes of death, horror, gore, and existential dread. The Great Metal Debate Podcast
Album Review - Bloodshed Under The Black Star (Obsidian Shrine)

The Great Metal Debate Podcast

Welcome to another album review on The Great Metal Debate podcast. I'm Xander, and today I'll be talking about the upcoming album from the Nashville-based black metal duo Obsidian Shrine. I've been a fan of Obsidian Shrine for nearly three years, since I discovered them in mid-2019. I never go the opportunity to see them live, but I have heard from many people that they always put on a good show for a local act. The band's debut album – Anno Domini Satanas – is vastly overlooked and is a true hidden gem for any black metal fan. If the band Inquisition wasn't already proof that you can make quality black metal with just two people, then let these two guys proove it witht their new album Bloodshed Under The Black Star. The first song is the album title track, and immediately we are greeted with a cacophany of crystal clear yet rhythmic sound. It begins like any other well-produced modern black metal; but after 30 seconds, there is a sudden tempo change. It's a pleasantly triumphant battle hymn, made up of a marching band-style drum roll for a small build-up. Then… hell is unleashed! When the raspy vocals of Murmur kick in, you pretty much know what you're in for. This song's surprises don't end there. At the half-way mark we hear a guitar solo from none other than Sebastian Ramstedt from the old-school blackened death metal band Necrophobic. It's a nice treat and fore-shadowing what's to come later on in the album. “Kingdom Of Sheep” is another standout track, as it begins with the ominous sound of sheep baaing. The last time I heard a song start off this way it was the song “Satan Spawn, The Caco-Daemon” by Deicide. However, the baaing doesn't last near as long, as it is cut short by the snarls of a Baphomet. Plus, this song is absolutely nothing like the beginning of “Legion” as it is a very different musical style. The song itself is a dark-to-light. “Only War Remains” is a track that truly showcases how good guitarist Nazgûl is at shredding. As for the song “Luciferian Wrath,” it's every bit as diabolical as it sounds. “Angelus Mortem” is without a doubt the most evil song on the entire record – especially since most of the vocals are Murmur and Nazgûl at the same time. Which makes the song sound every bit as satanic as when Glen Benton and Dave Suzuki did on the last two Vital Remains albums. Track 6 is called “Indoctrintoxin” and it's probably the fastest song on the album due to the continuous blast-beats and the fast guitar strumming with plenty of distortion. Just like with all great modern metal releases, it just isn't complete without a cover song from the most influential musicians to the band. I told you Necrophobic was coming back: track 7 is a near-identical re-recording of the song “Nailing The Holy One.” Obsidian Shrine has done an incredible job of honoring the metal gods! “At The Gates” isn't just the name of a Swedish metal band; it is also the name of the next song. Yet another standout track for the band. But the album concludes with a wonderful song about good old demonic possession. The final track is called “They Who Dwell Within,” which opens with an audio clip from the movie Exorcism Of Emily Rose. Once you hear the voice of actress Jennifer Carpenter say the name of the track, you are hit in the face with an unrelenting hellfire of a song. It's an epic and hellish finale, which ends with the haunting message of Emily saying: “And I am Lucifer – the devil in the flesh.” You can tell that Murmur and Nazgûl both poured their blackened hearts and souls into the production of this album. It was made for their small cult following of fans and their die-hard supporters. Do not sleep on this amazing black metal album – it'll be worth every penny! I'm giving it a 9.5 out of 10. Obsidian Shrine's Bloodshed Under the Black Star will be available on April 15th through Negative Earth Recordings. You can pre-order your copy of the CD and order their t-shirt on Bandcamp.com.

This week on The Loaded Radio Podcast, Scott Penfold talks one on one with AT THE GATES frontman Tomas Lindberg. AT THE GATES are more than just a death metal band from Gothenburg, Sweden.  They are easily one of the most influential and honored bands within the subgenre.  Formed in 1990, AT THE GATES were a major representation of 'Gothenburg-style' melodic death metal. Prior to their first break up in 1996, AT THE GATES released four albums, ending with and including 1995's 'Slaughter of the Soul', which has been seen as a landmark in the mid-1990s death metal scene. After reuniting for a one-off tour in 2008, AT THE GATES would reform reformed once again, and go on to release three more albums: 2014's 'At War with Reality', 2018's 'To Drink from the Night Itself' and their latest outing, 2021's 'The Nightmare of Being'. In the podcast, Tomas talks about the history of the band, the making of 'The Nightmare Of Being', the "Gothenburg style" and much, much more. And as always, Loaded Radio's Johnny Rude joins in for the second half of the podcast, live from Las Vegas, Nevada to talk about the week that was in hard rock and metal.

The Real Deal On...Success!
What is Radio Promotion? How to succeed in Radio Promotion. Munsey Ricci of Skateboard Marketing gets REAL!

The Real Deal On...Success!

Skateboard Marketing Ltd. Company Overview:  Skateboard Marketing Ltd. has been at the forefront of independent metal radio promotion for the past 30 years since forming in 1991. The company has worked with legendary rock and metal heavyweights such as Black Sabbath, Motorhead, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Metallica, Pantera, Soilwork, Testament, Morbid Angel, Black Label Society and Kid Rock, among countless others. Skateboard Marketing operates within North America and is located in New York. Their concept is to get radio airplay in any place that has metal or rock programming. They still believe in artist development and building a fan base for the unknown artist. Every band has their time to shine, but that takes artist development.    Skateboard Marketing Ltd owner, Munsey Ricci, is a former PolyGram Records executive who was the Director of National Metal Promotion from 1989-1991 and created the first metal department for the label and all affiliated labels, including Mercury, Polydor, RooArt, and London Records. Ricci also worked for the famed Combat/In-Effect Records in Hollis, Queens. Ricci was also on the editorial staff and collated the magazine for CMJ Media and a former syndicated radio programmer prior to PolyGram Records. Ricci spent 5 years as MD/PD for his college station WQCC while attending college.    Covering the entire spectrum of radio with syndicated, satellite, commercial, and college metal. Skateboard Marketing covers over 350 stations nationally for the US and Canada. This includes all the syndicated, commercial metal and rock specialty shows with college and public radio. "It's any outlet where a record can be heard" Artist development starts on the street, in someone's bedroom on their stereo, or even a fan listening to something new in their car. Today a new band will have 20 fans, tomorrow they will have 50. It's all a stepping stone to bring something cool to the masses.  It all applies to heritage artists as well. The only difference is they sold 2 million records to go with it. It's about creating the new fan whether it's for Motorhead and Black Sabbath, or for new artists such as Misery Kills.    The company's staple roster consists of, Overkill, Testament, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Exodus, Death Angel, Soilwork, Biohazard, Ozzy Osbourne, Doro Pesch, and Sepultura  It's a huge pleasure to be  graced by talent on all levels. There is nothing better than getting on the phones in the morning and "Making something from nothing" Music is in the blood of every band, industry executive and fan.    The companies office is based 25 minutes east of Manhattan, in Neighboring Valley Stream. They have a staff of 2 people covering syndicated, commercial , and college radio, as well as social media on board. New York-based radio promotion powerhouse Skateboard Marketing Ltd., headed by music industry veteran Munsey Ricci, is celebrating its 30th anniversary of taking heavy metal and hard rock music to the airwaves.   “It's been 30 years already,” Ricci says. “Time seems to fly when you're having fun. I've been blessed and graced to have the opportunity to work with the artist roster we have. Every morning I get up and still live to walk into the office and do this gig. I just don't get tired of it and need more!”   Founded in 1991 by the former PolyGram Records executive, Skateboard Marketing Ltd. quickly established itself as the leader in radio and artist development with a focus on all formats of aggressive music for three decades. Love of music, longstanding relationships and profound respect from colleagues and artists have earned the company a reputation as the go-to company to for national radio promotion in North America.   “Munsey and Skateboard Marketing do what they do because they LOVE IT,” says SiriusXM's Jose “Metal Ambassador” Mangin. “There's no one in the world that is as seasoned and dedicated to the art of metal promotion. I've been helping Munsey spread the good gospel of metal for 25 years, and we're both just getting started! Congrats on 30 f'in years of dominance!”   Syndicated radio host and author Full Metal Jackie adds, “Munsey is integral to the heavy music scene. He carries the torch proudly and at this point he is basically a de facto member of most of your favorite metal bands. Cheers Munsey & Skateboard.”   These sentiments are echoed by the artist's Skateboard Marketing Ltd. has represented, with many noting the integral part the company has played in their success.   “Skateboard Marketing has been part of my team for 20 years now,” says Megadeth bassist David Ellefson. “They understand and connect with my fans and record buying customers which makes the business of music that much better and easier. Happy 30th Skateboard and thanks for all you do!”   Says Overkill vocalist Bobby Blitz, “Congratulations to Munsey and Skateboard on 30 years of keeping the airwaves chock full of the heaviest metal! For decades now we call him the 6th member in the Overkill camp, as he has gone above and beyond to help bring our craft to those who crave it. Happy anniversary Skateboard, from Chaly and the boys!”   Singerman Entertainment's Todd Singerman notes, “Skateboard Marketing, under the enthusiastic stewardship of Munsey Ricci, has helped consistently propel Motörhead's music to the ears and hearts of thousands upon thousands of ears for over three decades.  Munsey remains that rare combination of class and action.”   Add Wendy Dio, “Munsey Ricci and Skateboard Marketing have supported every Dio record throughout Ronnie's career and continue to support us.”   While Director of National Metal Radio Promotion at PolyGram Records, Ricci created the first metal radio department for the label and all of its affiliates, including Mercury Records, Polydor Records, RooArt and London Records, where the artist roster included bands like Mortal Sin, Onslaught, Yngwie Malmsteen, Kiss, Doro Pesch, The Scorpions, Rush, Tony MacAlpine, and Vinny Moore.   Ricci also previously worked for CMJ Media and Combat/In-Effect Records, and programmed radio for five years prior to his label stint, learning and working next to some of the most influential people in the radio promotion world and leading to the success of Skateboard Marketing Ltd.   “I've had the pleasure of knowing Munsey for close to 25 years,” says Rob Rush, Program Director/PM Drive Jock 94.3 The Shark Long Island. “He is a consummate professional and has always gone above and beyond for the bands that he promotes, and the radio stations that play his bands. He is a true class act and I'm proud to call him one of my best friends! Here's to 30 more years of Munsey and Skateboard Marketing!!!”   SiriusXM Volume's “TrunkNation” host Eddie Trunk conquers. “I've known and worked with Munsey for all 30 years of Skateboard Marketing and beyond,” he says. “He's always had a great passion for rock and metal music and all the projects he works. All the best for the next 30 to all at Skateboard!”   Seeing a void for heavy music in the radio trades, Ricci launched Metal Contraband in 2016. Metal Contraband, in conjunction with Radio Contraband, fills that gap as a destination for labels, management and artists looking for accurate information, including a metal chart consisting of commercial, syndication as well as large college stations, a metal news section for up-to-date news on tours and festivals, ad dates and street dates. Also included is an overall release schedule for metal add dates at radio. Metal Contraband has become the most reliable source to gauge the success of a record at radio.   Adds Joey Z of longtime Skateboard client Life Of Agony, “It's hard to believe that Munsey and the team at Skateboard Marketing have been grinding it out for all of us for 30 years. Life Of Agony is so grateful for all the help and support the team has given us throughout the years... We wish them continued success for at least another 30!!”   “Munsey is the only metal radio game in town,” says Adrenaline PR's Maria Ferrero. “Period.”    The company's roster has ranged from the smallest to the biggest heavy metal and hard rock bands. Its staple roster consists of Motörhead, Overkill, Testament, Judas Priest, Ronnie James Dio, Black Sabbath, Exodus, Death Angel, Soilwork, Parkway Drive, Ozzy Osbourne, Sepultura, Soulfly, and many labels including Napalm, Nuclear Blast, Century Media, E- One Entertainment, Warner Music, BMG, Sony, Pavement, Metalville, Spinefarm, Fearless and Universal. Skateboard Marketing Ltd. has also worked on radio campaigns with Iron Maiden, Monster Magnet, Crowbar, Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Doro Pesch, Veil Of Maya, At The Gates, Body Count, High On Fire and many others.   “Rip Magazine and Skateboard Marketing rolled loud and proud together back in the day,” says Lonn M. Friend, author of Life on Planet Rock. “Congrats to Munsey on three decades of prosperous decadence.” SKATEBOARD MARKETING online: www.Skateboard-Marketing.com www.facebook.com/pages/Skateboard-Marketing-Ltd/102440986494312 www.instagram.com/skateboardmarketing https://twitter.com/Skateboardmkt www.pinterest.com/skateboardmkt http://skateboardmarketing.tumblr.com www.youtube.com/skateboardmarketing1 METAL CONTRABAND online: http://metalcontraband.com www.facebook.com/metalcontraband www.instagram.com/metalcontraband https://twitter.com/Metalcontraband For press inquiries and additional information, please contact Adrenaline PR:  Maria Ferrero, 732-462-4262, maria@adrenalinepr.com Get your free 3 Keys to Freedom training at www.iFreedomHackNow.com

In Episode 4 of The Extreme Drummers Podcast I speak to Adrian Erlandsson of At The Gates, The Haunted, The Lurking Fear, Nemhain (Ex - Cradle Of Filth, Ex - Paradise Lost, Ex - Brujeria)Adrian needs no introduction. A legend in many senses of the word. I have been a huge fan of his since I started drumming and getting into metal as a teenager. His drumming has shaped so many legendary recordings and has influenced countless drummers through the decades with his musical, groove laden, hard hitting style. On top of being a legend and an incredible drummer he is a truly lovely dude. I've had the pleasure of meeting him a bunch of times but we have never really had the chance to geek out, so I thought this podcast was a great excuse to do that. In this episode we talk about a whole bunch of things. Stories from the old days, music tastes, practice, the state of the music industry now vs then and much more. Its a long but super interesting chat and I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed recording it.If you want to find out more about Adrian please check out the following:Instagram: @official_adrianerlandssonFacebook: /adrianerlandssondrummerYoutube: search "Adrian Erlandsson drum"Twitter: @adrianerlandsonIf you want to keep up to date with the Podcast please check out the website:www.extremedrummerspodcast.comOr follow on social media:Instagram: @extremedrummerspodcast / @danwildingdrumFacebook: /danwildingdrumYoutube: Search "extreme drummers podcast"Thanks for listening and see you next time!
