BONUS - November is Coming - 30 Episodes in 30 Days - National Podcast Post Month NaPodPoMoIn 2007, 50 podcasters participated in the first ever National Podcast Post Month aka NaPodPoMo. Created by Jennifer Navarrete as an answer for an audio version to other 30 day challenges happening in the month of November.NaPodPoMo is a month long event along the same vein as National Novel Writing Month aka NaNoWriMo. The difference? Well, instead of writing a 50,000 word novel, you podcast every day for 30 days from November 1st-30th.Use any platform you desire. From full production studio to iPhone app and just about anything in between. The goal of NaPodPoMo is to use the challenge of podcasting daily as a form of podcasting bootcamp.https://napodpomo.org/Support the show___https://livingthenextchapter.com/podcast produced by: https://truemediasolutions.ca/

They discuss whether Twitter is working on anything for Spaces behind the scenes considering someone turned the lights out last week while trying to roll-out a feature at scale. Plus, the search bar has returned to the Spaces tab and Clubhouse hosts can look forward to taking their past replays with them as they transition from Clubs to Houses. Guest co-host Jennifer Navarrete joins Elsie and they discuss NaPodPoMo, Zealous, Flowjin, Web3 and more! Guest co-host Jennifer Navarrete (@epodcaster) joined us today! With over 17 years of podcasting under her belt she truly is an OG! ⭐ Elsie and Jennifer discuss the early days of podcasting. Jennifer founded National Podcast Post Month (NaPodPoMo) in 2007. Taking place annually in November, podcasters are challenged to record 30 episodes in 30 days, from Nov 1-30. NaPodPoMo is for both the brand new podcaster and the seasoned podcaster. It is a place to #FailFastGetGood in a safe community space. As a global challenge the opportunity to learn, share, and grow is amplified. E&J discuss Zealous, which Jennifer describes as the bridge from your spaces to your RSS feed. Did you know that with Flowjin Twitter Space Downloader you can archive all of your past and future available Spaces forever. No 30 days limit. Automatically store all of your future Spaces after first setup. What's going on with Twitter this week? There seems to have been an implosion/mass exodus. Are you on the Mastodon train? Finally, the conversation moves to Web3! In Jennifer's opinion the future of podcasting (and content creation) is on the blockchain. Twitter Spaces for Elsie November 16 at 4pm ET, Elsie will be doing a follow up Twitter Space to get everyone back together for the Multilingual Podcasters Meet-up. In this, the twenty-seventh episode of my NaPodPoMo series for 2021, I look at some of the current news stories currently prominent in the UK.
On this Episode of The DEB Show, host Debra Eckerlinng speaks with Aadip Desai and Jennifer Navarrete about Passion Projects. Aadip is a screenwriter and founder of the LA TV Writers group on Facebook. Jennifer is a media mixologist, podcast host/producer, and founder of National Podcast Post Month! Along with tips and tons of inspiration, Aadip and Jennifer talked about their journeys, passion projects, plans, and more. November is National Novel Writing Month (#NaNoWriMo) and National Podcast Post Month (#NaPodPoMo), but any time is the perfect time to pursue a passion project.
In this, the fourth episode of my NaPodPoMo series for 2021, I read out the comments and posts you have send me since Monday, whilst I nurse the remnants of a phantom hangover.
Jennifer Navarrete is an award-winning social media community and event organizer, podcaster, virtual event producer, speaker, and entrepreneur. With a background encompassing almost all aspects of the social media landscape, she often describes herself as a "media mixologist" -- combining new technology with storytelling and community to create successful events, formulate practical success strategies for organizations, and deliver client results. She has been podcasting since 2005, and was part of the birth of podcasting as an industry. In 2007, Jennifer founded National Podcast Post Month (aka NaPodPoMo), a community event that encourages folks to create 30 podcasts in 30 days during the month of November. This event gave new podcasters a chance to "fail fast and get good" while motivating veteran podcasters to experiment with new technology and new podcast formats. This year, NaNoPodMo is celebrating its 14th anniversary of inspiring podcast innovation. With the recent popularity of live audio platforms like Clubhouse and new live audio features like Twitter Spaces, she now hosts live weekly audio sessions on both platforms. Jennifer has been featured in television and newspaper interviews on topics ranging from mobile technology to user-generated conference events to social media trends. She has spoken about podcasting and social media at conferences across the country and at local events like She Podcasters, WordCamp San Antonio and BlogItSA. Jennifer is no stranger to hosting podcasting and social media events and in October of 2019, hosted the inaugural Texas Podcast Conference (TexasPodCon) which received rave reviews. She has been featured on KENS5 Sunday AM and Great Day SA to discuss podcasting. Through her company, Brewing Media, Jennifer provides virtual event production, podcast coaching and production services, and social media coaching to agencies, entrepreneurs and non-profits. Founded in 2010, the company's services are in high demand with the continued boom of virtual events, podcasting, and social media storytelling. Whether it's helping clients set up their entire social media presence, giving them the push they need to start podcasting, or coaching them on the finer points of social media marketing, Jennifer and the team at Brewing Media bring years of diverse experience to the table. Her recent focus has been helping clients create engaging virtual conferences and podcasts around PR & Communication, financial services, specialty insurance, and professional coaching services. Clients and colleagues praise Jennifer's "unparalleled mastery of social media tools and techniques", calling her a "true expert" in social media. With a clear talent for the challenging task of organizing social media communities in the offline world, Jennifer founded the San Antonio Podcasters Group and was a co-Founder of the San Antonio chapters of two international organizations: Social Media Club and Social Media Breakfast. In addition to community groups, Jennifer was at the forefront of bringing "unconferences" (participant-driven events) to the Alamo City such as PodCamp, Barcamp, Startup Weekend, TweetCamp and MobiCamp. She has also been involved in providing social media coverage at TEDxSanAntonio, Innotech San Antonio, the EFS Business Conference, the San Antonio Manufacturer's Association, and FIRST in Texas, among many others. In 2010 she was honored with a Texas Social Media Award from the Austin-American Statesman, with the judge noting that "it's rare that you find an event in the city that hasn't been organized or touched by her in some way". Whether it's through podcasting, live-streaming, or other forms of social media, Jennifer believes in the power of storytelling, and that everyone has a story to share. She continues to use her vast experience in podcasting and social media to coach, encourage, and support others on their social media journeys, embodying the philosophy of "learn, share, grow". Jennifer stays on top of the rapidly shifting social media landscape and is currently embracing video as a powerful tool for online storytelling. She has created three video sets in her office to explore her interest in video. On any given day, she can be found with earbuds jammed in her ears learning, laughing, and enjoying the numerous podcasts she is subscribed to.
